Since Vicious Fall is being divided into two parts this will be a review for part one. I can't explain enough how much I love this series. I've enjoyed many dark romances books in the past but this series has quickly climbed to the top for me. Vicious Fall continues where the previous book, Cruel Summer, left off. Winter has themed up with the men who have kept her prisoner for almost a year to take revenge on her father. It's going to be a vicious fall indeed.
I've said this in previous reviews already but I have loved seeing Winter grow throughout this book. She went from a mouse (as Maximo is fond of saying) to someone who stands up more for herself and someone who dares to talk back to the Costa's (even if she gets punished for it). This book (part one) has probably been my favorite where Winter is concerned because of how she's actually more assertive in it and I love that so much for her. I can't wait to see more of this in part two.
As for the four men in Winter's life (Giovanni, Maximo, Enzo and Vito). I can't help but love them all. I hope Winter gets to keep them all. There I said it. They also had a lot of character growth since the first book since it feels like they actually care for Winter and if she gets hurt. I feel this goes for Enzo especially in this book, for not letting Maximo step all over him in particular. But in the end I have a soft spot for them all and can no longer choose a favorite. And I hope they fuck up Maddox in the finale.
My only slightly minor point is that it felt like it took forever to get a sex scene. I get that we're getting at the end of the book and a lot has to be tied up so there's probably not a lot of space for sexy times but still I kinda missed a little more steamy scenes. But I also have to say that the sex scenes that were in the book were very hot indeed. Quirah Casey is very skilled at writing them. I also wanted to see a little more of Maximo in this book. It felt like he was more in the background this time around.
I'm glad that there's another part coming so I don't have to say goodbye to the characters just yet.

No longer invested
It seems like this series is dragging and honestly, I have lost interest. Book one was introducing everyone and fast paced…I was fully invested. Book two and three was all about Enzo and Maximo which didn’t hold my interest…after reading book four I no longer have any interest in the end.

This really blew my mind and made me happy at my girl Winter. The girl finally went off she did not care about the consequences she just snapped and she finally took back her power. The fact that she literally just tackled Giovanni and put a gun to his head she did not care and I can understand her for stranger and anger but I was so happy that she finally grew a backbone and attacked the one man that she at first hated so much. But the girl finally took back her power. Cause despite that everything that happened to her she's now feeling more comfortable and she is now feeling more at ease. Her relationship with the Costa men is so clear that it's obvious that she's attracted to all four men.
Now I'm not going to lie and part two I really want Winter to have her HEA with all four men because it's so obvious that she likes all four men and all four men are attracted and falling in love with her even though they're not admitting it just yet but it's obvious that they all are falling for her and they all want her.
Now I love the fact that she got her little hot spicy moments with Enzo and Vito now I am just as curious to see what the hell Maximo is going to do with her and of course what is Giovanni going to finally give in and admit to himself that he is in love with her. But I'm also happy that Maximo finally apologized that was so sweet and I was so happy that he finally apologized to Enzo because that's all Enzo ever wanted was an apology.
So I definitely need part two to be released very soon. The curiosity and the suspense is killing me because I really want to know what else is going to happen. So Quirah Casey please please please in part 2 let our girl Winter have her happily ever after with all four men please I beg of you and please let her win this battle that she's having with her biological father. Falling apart.
This story focused mostly on Winter's escapades with most of the men in the Costa household. There's a war brewing, but not much of that is covered in this part.

Winter spends most of her time swapping partners, but this time, she is doing so voluntarily. It's unfortunate that in all the passionate scenes, there's no protection being used. Anyway, Winter is experimenting with voicing her opinions, being bolder, and going for what she wants.
Midway through this story, more editing errors occurred. Many misused and out-of-context words were evident. I had to, at times, figure out what the author was trying to say. This could have been a strong 4 rating, but I felt that towards the end, certain scenes were rushed and didn't fit together well, and the story was unraveling, not as cohesive as it could be. A bit of a letdown.

Need more
This was a great continuation of the Brutal Winter series just wish it was longer. I know there will be a second part I just hope it doesn't take as long as this part did to come out. Love that winter is finally able to slowly start to be herself and not have to get beat down for standing up for herself. It seems there a shift in the respect and effection that Gionis giving to winter also. I knew that all the Costa family had a thing for winter and I'm glad they are all not hiding it anymore how important she is to them and how they feel. I love the author continue to give us lots of gritty action and the escalation of the Costa and seven quad gang is getting the streets light up. Can't wait until the second part.

I am in this until the end.
I love this crazy ride that got more surprises than I can count. This story is so crazy because you got the mob, a street gang,and bikers. It got a woman name Winter that got four crazy men in her life that has her always wondering if they going to hurt her or let her lice her life. We all got to wait and see for awhile, Yes I am mad because I want to know what is to become of Winter and will she live to see another winter. This book was very fast pace then book 3 this book put you quickly into the action. I am so ready for book 5 . I guess we all got to wait until the next book ! As always happy reading.😊😀😋

Maximo apologized 🥲
That ending was so sweet, I can’t wait to see how this all ends. Can Winter keep all of these men satisfied? Would Giovanni allow it? Especially if he is thinking of Winter as his Queen would he allow Vito , Enzo, and Maximo to have their way too? And the seven quad gang, wouldn’t it be poetic justice if Winter ended up killing her evil father? 😈
I also am excited for the spin-offs! I am definitely interested in Ettore and Primo, will they get their story? Why did Primo have that strange look in his eye when talking about Lucia being bisexual? Quirah Casey is definitely 1 of my favorite new authors I am reading!

Winter is evolving, not a bad*%s yet, but I love she is in charge of who she got it going with, well she didn’t really choose Giovanni, but she was pushing it knowing exactly what would happen and anticipating it … And the way she got Gio with a g*n at his head…!!! Priceless!!
Now why would want his incest daughter? Are his intentions good or evil? Can’t wait for Maximo to get rid of them all. And Gio and his revenge !?
Enzo, I wish you a complete speedy recovery. I am starting to like you a lot. Vito, you are still my favorite ❤️

Splitting this book in two was not necessary… I’m not really invested in waiting for the next book… if I see it I see it if I don’t I don’t.. I would’ve finished it more so because I just wanted to know where the story was going.. but even the author doesn’t know..
Love her writing style though!
I don’t think there is Grape in this book but I can tell you for free that she is traumatised, even if she falls in love with them and there is a happily ever after it wouldn’t really be satisfying…
The story between enzo and M is an actual romance… which is weird as it’s meant to be secondary to the main one… but hey read at your own risk 😂

It looks like we will never find out the ending to Winter's story. I love how she evolved and is trying to take her power back. I guess she is making the most out of the situation she's in but she still cannot completely trust The Costas. Now that Snap is hurt, how will Maximize take revenge? How will he handle Winter checing in on Enzo? (because you know she will)
The author explained this was a hard write and its been two years now. She's already created works for other characters in this series, so I don't think it's going to happen. Too bad.

Short but also intriguing

I need part 2 in my life
The fourth season was definitely worth the wait. I read it all in one sitting. Learning more about the characters with more of the backstory on why the characters are who they are was awesome. I also love the fact that she seems to be more of a boss lady. She’s not holding her tongue as much and is giving it as much as she’s getting it.

Winter and the Costa men are back. Winter has definitely changed from book one. She's no longer the timid and vulnerable girl who was dragged into the compound. She has gained some of the Costa strength which was taken from her once her brother handed her over to them. The biggest shock is Giovanni and Maximo (I won't spoil it! You just have to devour the book like I did).

Part 2
Loved this series. The characters, plot, etc but part 2 is constantly pushed back. Love this author but I’ve learned not to start a series until it’s completed. Otherwise it would be 5 stars.

Editing needed
I really like this story, but all the books have needed editing. It varies between names, punctuation or just the wrong word used. That being said, I’ve kept reading because I really enjoy the story.

Waited for this release and wasn't disappointed, Winter and those men are fighting their feelings while navigating chaos in the streets.. Can't wait for the finale

Fire! This book was so good! I love how Winter is coming into her own and defending herself. Lucia is intriguing and I am glad Enzo now wants more for himself. I can't wait for the next part.

Good read but

I've never said this before about a series but Vicious Fall was worth the wait.This is the best book of the series so far. The drama, the character development, romance and plot line had me hooked through each page. Only giving a 4/5 because of the poor editing job. Can't wait for part 5.
