September 13, 2022After the prequel, I wanted to read Enzo’s story.
This story was also told in 3rd person, I couldn’t connect with mcs, and unfortunately couldn’t keep me invested in.

This one picked up right where the Savage Bloodline novella ends. Enzo Deluca has taken over as don after his grandfather was murdered by the hired Saldano soldier. Enzo took care of him, now it’s time to take care of the Deluca turncoat.
“Eve” was at the scene when Enzo’s grandfather was shot. She pulled him from the car and thought she saved his life. Eve was only trying to help, but she’s made herself the witness, and as such, a prisoner at Enzo Deluca house. Eve can’t remember what Enzo’s grandfather said when he was dying, mainly because he was speaking Italian. Enzo thinks he’s prepared to torture the truth from his witness but he doesn’t realize that she’s a female.
The first 35% of this moved a little slow for me, witnessing all that goes into bed by don- the business side of it. But the last half was such a good ride!! Eve is the strength that Enzo needs, and his safe place to land. I loved how she pushed him to submit to her. She really was a Queen to his king.
Eve has secrets, secrets I was so worried about Enzo finding out. Enzo lived for the love he had with Eve, and as the reader, you really don’t want her to do anything to destroy it. After finding out her secrets I was pleasantly surprised that our Eden is a badass!! She’s PERFECT for our Enzo!!

I have waited patiently for this rerelease and I can honestly say that I wasn't disappointed!!! I absolutely love Enzo and Eve. The pure alpha of Enzo DeLuca and the sassy bratty behavior of Eve kept me entertained... I loved it from beginning until the end!!!

I absolutely love Enzo and Eve! Normally when it's an enemies to lovers type book, the characters don't get together until 2/3 of the way through, and by then, they have both done so much to eachother that we wonder how they'll ever get past it. But Ms Allen doesn't make you wait. The characters fall pretty early, and there is nothing done that cant be forgiven. Eve and Enzo are perfect together. She has just as many (if not more) secrets than him and she is not who she seems. They are equals in every sense of the word and I loved how there wasn't a true dominant between them. They are both in charge and the intimacy is sooooo steamy!! That scene on the recliner was fireeeee! 5 stars and I cannot wait for Stefano's book!

Whooo…this book was everything…it’s hard to put into words. The series (1st set) started with Enzo and ended with him, and I was not disappointed. Don Enzo has won me over. The book cover was sexy, he looked so delicious 🤤 and it was reflected in the story as well as him being a savage, he lived up to being the new Don of the DeLuca family. Hell, I hated for Enzo and Eve’s story to end, they were the 💣 ass couple. This 📕 is a must read for sure.

I loved this story
Eve and Enzo their love story was really good. This was a story of sadness, of loss, of defiance, suspenseful, of love and funny as hell!!!
Eve was hilarious; she was a thorn in Enzo's because she challenged him at every turn. He was at a loss at what to do with her and through the battle their souls spoke to one another.
Enzo was a warrior lost and saddened by the loss of his grandfather but his grandfather sent him someone that would bring him peace and love!!
Read this book!! I laughed out loud several times because you could see their interaction in real time.

I've waited to read about Enzo and I wasn't disappointed. Enzo is young with so much on his shoulders. That's why I'm glad Eve appeared. She definitely matches his energy. You don't want to miss this wonderful read. It was an absolute pleasure reading this book 🥰 .

3.75. So I skipped straight from the prequel to this book. I really wanted to get right to Enzo’s story. Loved it. Loved Eve! Loved Stefan and Enzo’s banter. It was a quick read and the ending was a surprise, though maybe if I’d read the other books it wouldn’t have been. I’m definitely checking out more of this author’s books.

Eve was told a message by the old don Armanno DeLuca when she pulled him from the burning car but not knowing Italian, she didn’t understand what he said. That was why she was being held by the new don, Lorenzo DeLuca. He desperately wanted to know what his beloved grandfather told her. He knew there was a family traitor in their midst and he just knew Eve had a clue. But Eve was not making her captivity easy on Enzo or her guards. She let them all know that she was not scared of any of them and gave them all a hard time so she could be let go. Enzo was very intrigued by her and found himself thinking and dreaming about her, and so was Eve. But Eve was hiding a secret. She was running from something that Enzo wanted to know so he could protect his delicate beautiful treasure.
Enzo was so set on getting revenge on his grandfather’s murderer that he was having a hard time adjusting to actually taking care of the family business that his grandfather trained him for. The traitors are always the ones you least expect them to be. It wasn’t until Eve heard that familiar saying “piccolo Em” that she remembered what the old don had said. It was a shock to everyone, especially Enzo. He loved his grandfather and missed him greatly and wanted to live up to all of his expectations.
It turned out that Enzo the “Lion” had fallen in love with a “Lioness” who could handle herself. Together, they would remind the world who they were. They were beautiful savages and the other families better take note. AND, that guest house scene was FIYAH! I just love how Enzo and Eve would communicate with each other from the beginning. She was a smart-mouthed sassy woman that had Enzo wrapped around her fingers and she didn’t know it.
I really enjoyed reading about this couple and would love to read a series about them. I couldn’t put my Kindle down until it was finished.

Another fantastic read in this ongoing series. We loved the characters especially Eve we love strong female characters that are kick ---.
What a page-turner the chemistry between this couple was off the charts they were perfect for one another. We loved Eve from the moment we met her and loved her wicked sense of humor feistiness and so much more.
Loved how the men in this series fall hard and fast and fall for women who will always be a challenge and who are dangerous in their own right. You have to love it when characters like Enzo and Eve find one another and know from the moment they meet there is something there maybe something unexplainable but there regardless.

Enzo's full story was just amazing i loved the way he falls in love with Eve at first sight after Stefano kidnaps her to keep her safe since she was the last one who saw the late Don Ermanno alive and helped him when he was fatally wounded. also it was so steamy and yummy and exciting i really love the way the characters interact. Stefano is amazing i just love his character and cant wait to read his story. Eve was amazing i loved her character and how she stood toe to toe to Enzo and how she messed up the kitchen because of something she heard from her bodyguards hehe. she has a secret that makes her past sad but Enzo helps her with it, she is the Perfect Don's Lady. i didnt see the twist with one part of the family and was shocked. I really love the Deluca's. and i cant wait to see who killed the Previous Don Ermanno Enzo's Grandfather.

This story picks straight up from the ending of the prequel. Enzo is the new Don after his grandfather’s death, and he is on a mission to uncover which of the family members betrayed his family. Eva witnessed his grandfather’s death, and Enzo kidnaps her to find out what she knows. These two are kindred spirits, and Eve has just as many secrets as Enzo, but they complement each other perfectly. This is a well written action packed, emotional roller coaster, which is dark, raw, gritty, and intriguing, with undeniable chemistry, betrayal, family, humor, witty banter, romance, secrets, twists, truths, and love, which leads to an entertaining and steamy addictive page turner.
I look forward to reading more from this talented author whose work I highly recommend.

Overall a nice read
It’s like I enjoyed it but it still left some things to be desired. Overall the book was a fun time, the action scenes were *chefs kiss* the romance was 100% Stockholm syndrome LOL but I like the fact that Eve still gave him a run for his money.
I will say that I got annoyed with the overuse of the word “don” like we get it, he’s the boss, you don’t have to keep reminding us every other word, so that sometimes made the book feel very corny & some of the interaction’s definitely had me like “y’all are so damn dramatic 😐” but I pushed through lol.
Also, the twist at the end of who the betrayer was, was quite shocking to meee!! Definitely didn’t see that coming. So like all in all, it was an enjoyable read.

Watch out, the Italian mafia is here. Enzo Deluca by M’Renee Allen is Enzo’s story which is preceded by Brutal Bloodline. I enjoyed this story which took a spin on the mafia family and came at it from a different direction. Some of the dialogue seemed off but still readable. Enzo and Eve together seem like the least likely of couples which is what keeps this tale fresh. The Deluca family story continues with Stefano Deluca’s story. 4-stars for Enzo Deluca by M’Renee Allen

The Head of Savagery
In Brital Bloodline, we see that grandfather is clear in him, Don Ermanno..the brutality, savagery, and finality of his decision. In each story, that happens simultaneously with Enzo's confirmation as the new Don, falling in love with Eve and bringing the wishes of his grandfather to fruition, we see him step into shoes that were made for him and come to mature in what Don Ermanno new who he was. Eve was in the right place and the right time and I firmly believe all was orchestrated by Don Ermanno (as much as he can) to give Enzo what he know hold the organization together...the love, support, and peace of a good woman.

Enzo is mad at the world and the lost of his grandfather. His grandfather passed on leadership of the Deluca family to him. He is doing his best to balance this and grieving his loss.
Eve winessed the raipejd of th3 accident that involved Enzo's grandfather. She was taken as the witness to find out if she has information that will lead them to who played a roll in ther loss.
Eve and Enzo of course are attracted to each other and developing their relationship. During this journey Enzolearns of betrayal involving his family and Eve reveals the role she played im the loss of her sister.

I was waiting Enzo’s book. That man set me on fire. I enjoyed the h in this book. She was bad ass and didn’t take no crap. Finally a female you can enjoy without rolling your eyes. This book showed how love can change a person and I enjoyed The H & h didn’t have that should I stay or Leave crap. They were honest with each other soon has they realized they are feelings for each other. Was a little disappointed that the book just ended like really what was that. Besides that it was a good read

I must say I love these Deluca men, and Enzo, the new Don, is no different. He met his match in Eve. This story reveals who did what to the original Don, and the betrayal hits hard. Eve has her own story as well, and to be honest, I wasn't surprised at all. Enzo kept underestimating her, and when it came down to it, Eve was more than capable of taking care of herself, Lol. Filled with action, killing, hot sex and tender moments between Enzo and Eve, make for a wonderful read. There are some surprises as well, which lead to the next story in the series. Loved it 4 🌟 🌟🌟🌟

I would have never guessed who was betraying the family and had a hand in killing their own grandfather. I really hope Enzo makes them suffer but I know even doing that is going to be hard cause he loved them. If you thought Melody was a beast and perfect for Adriano then wait until you meet Eve. She may act all meek and mild but it's just that, an act. I'm glad she had enough since not to eat the pie and it wasn't even because she thought something was wrong with it. Sis is really bad azz. I like Stefan also. I can't wait till loves catches him.💚💚

Finally
The big reveal is over! I’ve been reading the previous books like a mad woman trying to get to Enzo’s story. I love him and Eve together. Her background is fitting for what he needs. The last few DeLuca books have had very strong MFC which is welcomed. I was a little surprised by family rat but saw it coming with the pie. There moments that made me crack up and the action was on point. I wish there was an epilogue but I guess we’ll find out more in the other DeLuca books. Definitely a good read!

The last few DeLuca books have had very strong MFC which is welcomed. I was a little surprised by family rat but saw it coming with the pie. There moments that made me crack up and the action was on point. I wish there was an epilogue but I guess we’ll find out more in the other DeLuca books. Definitely a good read!

I was not expecting that
I was not expecting Enzo to fall, so heads over heels in lust, in love. I was not expecting Eve to have such a secret identity. and the rat... I was not expecting that.
but all in all, I enjoyed Eve and Enzo's back and forth. their relationship was not easy. They both had issues and learned to rely on the other. loved them.
and then to find out that Stefan was his brother. loved it. he had gotten a brother and a sister in law out of the deal. loved it.

I really wanted to enjoy this book more than I did. What I didn't enjoy was the fact that one minute Enzo and Eve were complete enemies and hated each other and then literally thr next minute they were in the shower and were in love with each other.
I know sometimes romance books skip quickly to the madly in obsessive love part, but this book was exceptionally fast to the point that I couldn't enjoy it.
The plot was good and kept me interested, so I ended up reading the entire book quickly. I'm not sure if I will look into any of the other books in this series.
