Isaiah Berotte, the eldest of the Berotte siblings, knows exactly what he wants out of life. He has a career that has treated him well, a loving family that has his back, and a beautiful home that displays the reward of his labor. A family of his own is the one thing he craves, but time hasn’t been forgiving. He wants to be in love and receive love in return, but it seems that won’t happen unless it’s with the only woman he has ever truly cared about. After experiencing a moment of grief and turmoil with her, he does his best to move on and forget. The problem is that he hasn’t seen her in sixteen years and because so much time has passed, he’s nervous to contact her for fear of rejection.
Joyy Roberts once had it all simply by being with the man she loved. However, she never made him aware of just how much she loved him. After a painful event, he eventually left her in his past, and it destroyed Joyy. Thoughts of moving on don’t go far because the only man she craves has created distance between them, indicating that he didn’t care about her as much as she cared about him. Her life is spiraling out of control, because her demons have taken the reins. She’s only going through the motions until the day her past takes a huge leap of faith to exist in her present.
Isaiah is determined to convince Joyy of his regrets and his love for her despite her insistence of being fine without him. Joyy is troubled because of his return, not knowing whether he’s sincere or not. Will she allow Isaiah to come into her life and change it for the better or continue to allow it to travel the path of destruction until there’s no life left to live?
Starting with poetry, writing has always been a constant in Monica's life. The interest began in her teenage years, being in love for the first time. Her love for writing has only progressed. Song lyrics and poetry led to short stories, then one day in her down time, a short story became a 56k word novel. It has been non-stop since then. Being a wife and mother, has only added to the joys of Monica's life. Attaining a BS in Sociology, helping her better understand people and their behaviors, has only helped her become a better writer, understanding characters and their complex personalities. Romance of all types has been her passion, and she plans to continue honing her skills in that genre.
We finally got some resolve in this family saga only for more questions and open doors to follow! But I’m here for it all! Isaiah and Joyy were so troubled in the beginning of this book and it took Joyy wanting to help herself before before they could move forward. Once they were on the right track I felt their love story became more about the family around them and boy were there some crazy twists and turns from the Knowledge situation, Chad/Lexie/Seneca debacle, Seneca and Kaysn 😩🥴, and the mess with Aunt Bridgette. There was so much drama but I was here eating it up! I was happy for Joyy to resolve the issue with her coworker and for Isaiah to get closure on the situation with his job. Now him counseling Chantell I did side eye but I get it. Smh anywho I was happy for this couple to get there HEA cause lord knows they were messing around whenever they could get it in! Some real freaks ok! Lol Welp I’m off to buy Hennessy for Chads book! Also please read trigger warning because there are some issues that were heavy and could cause possible harm if you miss the TW page.
Y’all….. this was the ONEEEE the oldest berotte got his girl! I’m so happppyyy for themmm it made me wanna cry so much im so happy he got his girl it was a long time coming and my name is also in the book tooooo!!! ❤️😩😂 5/5 it was perfect!!! Making my way down the list on the book number 6!
I loved me some Isaiah!!! In “Love Me Senseless” we were able to get to know the eldest Berotte sibling. He was such a gentle giant! After Shy’s story, I needed a break 😩😩. Isaiah was just an all around good guy. There was no drama, no crazy ex’s popping out of bushes lol nothing. Isaiah and Joyy’s journey to love was a deep one. They had a past that went back 16 years to their college days at Howard. After tragedy shook up their “relationship” Joyy had the toughest time bouncing back down which lead her into a deep depression and alcohol abuse. Fast forwarding to the present, Zay knew that she was always the endgame for him and was very clear when it came to his intentions to win her heart! He was so mature and patient with how he dealt with her. Per usual the Berotte family brought the drama and even more love and togetherness. I really love how they ride for each other. Seneca where did you come from?! He came whipping through like a tornado 🌪 leaving damage in his path 😩 I low key like him though and wouldn’t mind more from him. I missed them cutting up like they usually do when they strut during the family gatherings 🤣! I’m so ready for Chad and Lexi because they’ve been on my nerves since Dylan and Skylar got together. I know they gone take me through it! Bravo as always Monica! 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
Isaiah was ready for love. He had put in the work to be the best man he could be and had dedicated his life to helping others. He had waited over a decade and couldn't shake that his love from college was the one for him. When he found out she was back in town he reached out and she was in no way ready. Joyy had been through a lot. Life hadn't been as easy for her because after losing Isaiah whom she felt was the love of her life she spiraled and unfortunately had yet to find her footing. Instead she used both sex and alcohol as balms to avoid facing the issues that kept her from moving forward. Isaiah was prepared to be there for Joyy every step of the way. Even when she was trying to push him away. Isaiah led with love even when it was hard. He was a grown man and approached every situation that way. There was a lot going on with in the Berotte family and with the nature of Isaiah's job but he handled the pressure well. All while building Joyy back up.
Overall the book was slow for me. It took awhile to get to the action. Isaiah was definitely a sweet and thoughtful lover and I almost would've rather spent more time with him and Joyy than the sub characters. 3.5 stars for me.
Miss Monica! I knew my baby Isaiah's story would be special, and you didn't let me down! But, why was Seneca all in the mix trying to steal Zay's thunder? He is just everywhere causing havoc and stayed with the ish! Ughhhh...... I digress! I knew from Mr. Sheldon's book, that Zay was the one! He was a natural born leader, had a quiet strength and an amazing kind heart! ❤ He did what he needed to do to get Joyy back in his orbit, and had the patience of a saint to deal with some of her foolishness! Now that is love! Joyy! Girl, I was trying to have compassion for you, but in the beginning you were just doing the most! 😠 What was that man supposed to do, just stay up under your ass when you don't open your mouth to express your feelings and what you want? Then keep throwing the ish in his face, like he didn't already feel bad enough? 😡 Joyy had to grow on me a bit, cause she was giving Zay the blues, and I was not having it! Periodt! 😂 She got some act right soon enough, and then it was on! They nasty asses were just getting it in, any and everywhere! I was so happy for Zay, that he got the love of his life back, and was ready for all that came with that! I'm feeling so sad for Chad, cause this is not him at all! I hope that these threats are a false alarm, and we can get fun loving Chad back! I'm not even sure that Lexi deserves him, with that ish she pulled! We shall see...... Now, Kasyn! What the hell ma'am? It was like she went looking for the devil and found him! Seneca ain't nothing nice, and you don opened Pandora's box messing with him! Whew..... Never doubted you, but you did the damn thang with this one! Bravo! 👍👍👍
Who knew Zay had all this inside of him? He always seemed like the levelheaded and mature Berotte. While he is that, he got some thug in him like Shy. I’m so glad to see Joyy heal. She was tortured for so long and deserved to be happy.
Isaiah like the rest of the Berotte men was strong , loving and lethal when necessary. Isaiah being the oldest o the Berotte family siblings has always made sure that all the people he loved knew he was there for them. His biggest regret stemmed back 16 years , when he attended Howard University, He walked away from someone he loved without a word. The worse part was that for sixteen years he tried to find someone That would take her place and it never happened. He could not believe his eyes when he spotted her at a club one night where he was out with his brothers. He had hopes that things were about to turn around because he would now be able to finally apologize for his childish behavior. Needless to say that meeting didn’t go anything like he had imagined. However he was determined to do whatever was necessary to have the women who held his heart in her hand back in his life forever.
Joyy never got over the hurt and loss she experienced 16 years ago when the man she loved more than anything walked away from her without a warning or an explanation. She was so devastated by it she began losing herself in alcohol and reckless living . The night she was hanging out with friends and getting her drink on for the weekend, the last person she expected to walk up and start a conversation with her as if they had just seen each other the day before. She was furious
Isaiah and Joyy had so much going for them yet there was so much they had to deal with in order to reconnect and continue the love they had for each other that never went away. There were times as I read I was fearful that the would never be able to overcome the demons that Joyy dealt with on a daily bases, in order to get to their HEA.
The Berotte Family series has been really enjoyable . Every time I have completed a book in this series, I think to myself it was the best one ☺️. So now that I have completed Isaiah’s story I’ve decided that each member of this family has a story that’s equally amazing. Now I’m waiting patiently for the next installment of this series ☺️❤️
Mrs. Walters has done it once again, this series just keeps getting better with each family member. I had a powerful suspicion when I was reading about the other siblings' that Isaiah's story was going to be emotional. His love for people and their well-being was a whole vibe. He was walking and working in his purpose. The mere fact he was able to pick up on Joyy's illnesses right away spoke volumes. He hit them both square on the head and stood by her through it all. He suggested a good counselor for her. I was glad that Joyy recognized and was willing to get help. She realized she had to let go of her past and all the hurt that came with it. It took a couple of eye-opening examples from two unexpected people but those pushed her into wanting to heal. Joyy's issues basically stemmed from the abandonment however her brother. Seneca was a whole other beast. He was quite selfish and didn't care who toes he stepped on. I get the feeling that it's more to come with him especially since he webbed himself with Kaysyn.
This is another incredible episode that I foresee on BET in the near future. Mrs. Walters has done her thing in this series. Every book in this series is 🔥. I know she isn't going to disappoint as the series continues. If you haven't got into it, I do not know why not. It is a little taste of it all family life, steamy scenes, and plenty of drama. You will see why Zay is a counselor in this book. The stints he went through to help J'Niya will just melt your heart. He went hard for her and she needed someone in her corner. Her mother wasn't fit to be called a mother after she allowed her to be abused. Zay was able to turn that around and give her a life she only dreamed of. I am looking forward to the next installment in this series. All of the family issues haven't quite been solved so it's a lot more to come.
I loved Isaiah's story. While everyone around him was finding love and living life full of happiness, he never gave up on the woman from his past. But there would be no moving forward if Joy and Zay didn't acknowledge their actions from the past. Although Joy was dealing with her own issues as a result of that, I was glad that she took the time to get the help that Zay was offering her. I really love how the Berotte's go hard for each other. And how hardZay went to help and protect J'Niya. I was shocked by her connection to Joy but so happy that Ms India didn't hesitate to take her in. This book was filled with so much emotion from the closeness of family, the rekindling between Isaiah and Joy and the new additions. Ready for the next Berotte's story.
Yet Another great read!!! I loved the way Isiah ❤️❤️loved Joyy!! She was such a mess and he loved her thru it and helped her heal. He was such a great guy with such a big heart. I was grateful Joyy came around to fill the void in his life. He showed her ass that he was soft but not to be f*cked with. The seggs was 🔥💦. Grower not a shower🤦🏽♀️, yassss hunti!🍆🍆🍆 Always a pleasure to revisit the other Berotte’s. Senecal was a hot mess but I think he would have a fun story🙋🏽♀️. I can’t wait for Chad’s story. Lexi was out of order but I think Chad can get her right 🔥🔥👏🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽
Zay & Joyy 👏🏾! There was definitely more serious issues present in this book. I loved how gentle Isaiah was with Joy given her addiction. Alexz’s wedding nearly took me out, that was written so beautifully! The Berotte family is so inspirational, I love them all for different reason & how each of their partners was crafted just for them! Now, let’s see what Chad os talking about!
Loved Isaiah soooo much. What’s meant to be will always be. Joyyy definitely got the sweetest one out the bunch. He’s a sweetheart. I could see why it’s not hard to fall in love when you have a man like Zay in your corner.
Isaiah was definitely more like his dad than his brothers. He was sensitive and sweet. But don't get it twisted, he would put you on your azz with the quickness. He and Joyy had stood the test of time and I loved how he was right there as she worked on herself. Great story.
Well another Berotte love story down... I love how even though we are moving on with each characters... We are still able to keep track of all the others that we have already read about... The story with Isiah (Zay) and Joyy took a lot of work and dedication... Isiah is the oldest of the Berotte siblings... He is super smart, has a good head on his shoulder and has one of the biggest hearts... He will go above and beyond for his family... He loves seeing all his family find love... But his heart is aching for the one that got away years ago named Joyy... When he was younger he didn't know what he really wanted yet... So after a tragic event happened with him and Joyy... he didn't know how to handle it so he walked away... This has haunted him for years... He made it his mission to try to find her and make it right... because his heart will not allow him to move on... He went on a major search... And he finally found her... But she was not making it easy for him... Joyy has had a rough life since her and Zay last seen eachother... She has been dealing with depression and has now become a functioning alcoholic... She has been holding a grudge for Zay since he left her to battle her pain years ago... And now seeing him has really brought all her pain to the forefront... She is battling so many emotions... The hurt, the love, the anger and the struggle on how to let go and move on... Her brother came to town to stay with her because her drinking got so out of hand... But it was like that was pushing her to drink more... She was spiraling and very quickly... Zay is hurting for ever hurting and leaving Joyy the way he did... He is doing all that he can to break down all the walls that Joyy has put up... But it was a battle... Because every time he knocks pieces of this wall down... She patches it back up and adds extra cement to try and keep this wall up... Because she was hurting so bad and didn't know how to let go... This caused her to really make Zay work harder to try to get her back... This was causing him so much stress because he was also having issues at work and taking on what ever problems his family also had... He is the big brother so he was trying to make sure that everyone was good... All the while he is hurting and overwhelmed... Well he gives it his all and slowly things are looking up for him... But just that quickly... Joyy is pushing back again... But then he realizes exactly what the problem is... I mean he is a counselor so this helped him to think all of this through... He knew what the problem was with Joyy... He knew how bad her drinking had gotten... And he is all in to help her overcome this Demon that she is battling...No matter how long it takes... because this is the love of his life and he does not want to let her go a second time... Once she opens up and let's him in... Her life gets so much better and she can not believe she went through this all by herself for so long... She is happy to finally be where she has wanted to be for so long... Although she still has a long way to go... With Zay by her side... They will get through it together... Now onto the story of the wild Berotte son Chad...
Alright the Berotte men and their woman are back, I so love this series because it defiantly has you in your emotions from beginning to the end. This book was so well written like the rest of them and had some much action in it I could not put it down. The family dynamics is this series is so amazing because he draws you into the characters like you really know them 🤣🤣.
Now I was waiting for Isaiah’s story because I wanted to know who was the missing piece to Zay’s heart and boy I felt like Joyy was not it for me. She is the most disliked FMC of this series to me. Her actions in this story had me side eyeing for real 🤣 like how you spend 15 years mad about something and you didn’t even seek professional help at all, but then we find out the true starting foundation of their relationship and I really didn’t see why she was actually was that mad at him 🤦🏾♀️.
I was wondering how can Joyy say she loved and was working on forgiving Zay and place him in harms way; for ex: the confrontation at her apartment with Seneca, he could have hurt Zay all because she was in her feelings being childish and blamed it on her fear about Chad’s situation 🤦🏾♀️. Isaiah is a good one because once he left that apartment he should have never turned around and came back, Joyy was toxic but I was happy to see she got help, and in that time frame it humbled her with her coworker as well. She was nasty to that man thinking bad and ended having to apologize for her behavior.
But Isaiah OMG Mrs. Walters you had me fanning myself the WHOLE BOOK 🤩🤤🤩, I was like OKAYYYY Zay 🤤🤤🤤 Isaiah was that man, he was loving, protecting, established, and had BDE and I was screaming at Joyy to act right before she lost that good man!!!
Axton and Alexz wedding had me in tears 😭 i love stories that you can relate too. Joyy friend and her brother are dead wrong that’s all I am going to say 🤦🏾♀️🤦🏾♀️🤦🏾♀️. It was so good to see the conclusion about that young lady and how her connection went deeper and she also got her HEA. I recommend this whole series to anyone it’s just that good!
I am most definitely ready for Chad’s story, even though I am side eyeing Lexi she is young and they sometimes handle situations immaturely but baby that scene and the house could have been so different!!
Isaiah aka Zay truly was a commendable man and had such a good heart ❤️. He’s the older brother that his siblings can rely on and he takes on the role with pride! His situation with Joyy sixteen years ago he contribute this to him being immature, but Joyy did not voice that she wanted more from him. At that age he was still a compassionate man and wanted to talk to Joyy, but she picked up herself and left without a trace. Folks take his kindness for weakness, but don’t sleep on the Zay because he can handle himself with authority!
Joyy, was a lot to take in. She battled mental health issues along with other issues and the miscarriage that occurred 16 years ago traumatized her in a bad way! This built up trauma was not healthy, but she did not get professional help that she truly needed and was in denial. She did other things to cope with the trauma, which again was not healthy. It was not only Zay and her unfortunate miscarriage, but she also had abandonment issues! Joyy was so badly damaged that she needed a lot of healing. The great thing is she had a great man and his family for support! The Berottes are all about family and they will support you 150%. One minute Joyy is hot and one minute she’s cold, but praise the Lord that Zay had her back and was there for her. It’s a long road for her, but with Zay as her support system she can battle those demons.
There were other storylines and I’m waiting to see how it unfolds! Chad got a lot to deal with, and Seneca(l) breaking up homes LOL 😂!
I liked this addition to the Berotte family books featuring oldest Berotte brother, Isaiah, the responsible one, and Joyy, a functioning Alicia Oliv still dealing with the aftermath of their college relationship sixteen years prior. This is a second chance romance with strong themes of brokenness, healing and dealing with mental health challenges. Once again, the ensemble cast of family members make this series. The story was messy with friends and family like Kaysin and Seneca acting up and making unwise decisions, but also featured characters from previous books like Chanell and Knowledge’s wife getting their side of the story out. The overarching Knowledge plot wasn’t really furthered in this book and I suppose it will be settled in Chad’s book.
For me, my favourite part of this book was the way it centred a heroine dealing with addiction and brokenness and finding and being portrayed as deserving of love even within that struggle. My one reservation is that I don’t know if all the characters really had room and time within this book to go through a healing process (other than Joyy) to reach the wellness they seemed to have achieved, nonetheless, I recognize the limitations of maybe portraying that process realistically in a short romance and I appreciated and liked how the author attempted to approach healing. I really like this series and hope that there are more books even beyond Chad’s.
4.5 ⭐️ I love everything about this book. Isaiah was everything a girl could dream of. He’s protective, compassionate and understanding. He’s willing to admit when he’s wrong but don’t play with that man. He said he just tryna be at peace but he will give you a two piece and a biscuit messing with him lol. Unfortunately Seneca found that out the hard way. Joyy was so wrong and petty for how she revealed to Seneca her past with Zay. I get why Seneca punched Zay but now you put your brother in the position to get beat up cuz you messy and don’t know how to use your words. I was glad Seneca apologized about moving messy with Lexi crazy behind but I would like to see him make up with Chad. Kaysyn better watch her back with Senecal but I can imagine her being the one for him. Shit they been flirting all this time and now they got them some business lol. I love the character development tho. Even with Chanell, I never thought I would be sympathetic and rooting for her. The drama was hitting and we Stan a happy ending. There’s so much more I can say about this book, but just know Ms. Walters you doing the damn thing. I can’t wait to continue reading.
P.S What happened to Knowledge wife?? I thought she was gonna cause trouble by tryna get at Zay. She was staring too hard. It might still happen so I’m looking out for it lol.
This entire review has been hidden because of spoilers.
This story was cool and dropped a lot of gems about healing. Joyy did a lot like idk but her character just wasn’t my cup of tea. I’m glad Chanel getting her help and she better sue that hospital for playing with her. I’m sick of the Knowledge situation please let this be done quickly. I’m lost how Lexi was considered to be the only person wrong as if it ain’t wrong to play with people emotions. Chad should’ve left her alone from the very beginning if he knew his feeling weren’t going to change but nobody really held him accountable but Alexz. Even though I agree she need to stfu sometimes I get it you’re the only girl but sometimes you need to sit down and hush. This book seemed to be more about everybody else instead of Joyy and Zay. Wish there was more depth with her addictions especially the sex addiction that she still seem to have at the end of the book. Who tries to have sex at church? I hate Jnay ain’t get help before she got pregnant eww her momma disgusting.
Joyy and Zay(Isaiah).... Another good book in this series. Zay is a counselor and an all around great guy. He has a lot of compassion for others and helps them with their issues. Joyy works in an administrative field at school but she has a lot of personal issues stemming from her youth. Her and Zay were involved in their younger years and went separate ways but she looked at it as him abandoning her even though they weren't in a real relationship. They eventually meet up again and end up in a real relationship which starts out rocky due to her mistrust of him and her father leaving. She's an alcoholic and he convinces her that she needs to go to AA. They quickly express their love for each other and move in together and talk about marriage. Then there's her thug brother Seneca who's a complete fool. I imagine he's gonna meet his match sooner or later. And other characters that makes it a great story.
Omg where do I start with this amazing beautiful! suburb off the chain! love story I was totally in my feelings yessss 😭😭😭🤭😗😔😁🤣😘❤ for all the right reason the dynamics of how this family come together and love on each other with great support ❤ and understanding of how each member is important and how they care ❤ had me wanting to be apart of the family. The Berotte family is everything ❤ omg Isaiah touched my soul he was definitely book bae the way he love him some Joyy unconditional ❤yes they had some mishaps in the beginning and sadness but love conquers all He was everything and some and joyy brother Seneca was on whole other level 😄 with kaysyn and lexi but he truly loves his sister I can respect that❤ loved it loved it *sidenote them love/sex😉 scenes was 💥💥💥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽👐🏽👐🏽👐🏽love this beautiful 😍story😍😭
The Berotte family is expanding by leaps and bounds!
College lovers who suffered some intimate trauma finds themselves back to each other! I like how the love the Berotte family shares with each other and all who join their circl to protect and empower them.. Even the threats against their family cannot stop them from living, loving and supporting one another and spreading that love to others. Each time I visit Beaumont and the Berotte clan, I leave with a deeper appreciation for daddy Berotte and the love he and their deceased mother poured into their children and the love papa Berotte and his current wife Mama Nissa continues to impart to their collective children! Great job Ms. Walters and now on to your latest book so I can continue to follow this family, their friends and all their respective antics. I did so enjoy this story.
This book got right down business with no drag at all!!!…Isaiah made sure he tried to bring out the best in those that he seen or cared for despite their shortcomings!!!… I was glad that the paternity of Chanell baby was finally confirmed!!!… The findings were finally revealed for J’Niya’s baby paternity and the fact that her mom was aware of what was going on disturbed my whole spirit!!!… Joyy and Isaiah deserved all the happiness that come their way and I can not wait to hear about their marriage and baby!!!… Chad needs Lexi and I understand him wanting to make sure she was safe, but that push and pull he was doing was annoying for real!!!… Knowledge skeletons are constantly being revealed and his wife definitely has an agenda!!!…She is far from happy for Alexz and Axton, so I’m definitely keeping my eyes on her!!!…
Everything!!!! I get so excited when writing Monica Walters’s reviews because the ride in every book is always so amazing! I have to be honest in my reviews so I’ll say Isaiah came through just like I knew he would, but that Joyy took me through it! I loved their dynamic and with her issues and him being so compassionate and understanding that added a needed layer to their relationship. Isaiah said he wants that old thang back and came out ready to fight all Joyy ’s demons by her side😍😍. Although this was a story for Isaiah and Joyy to find their way back to each other the entire Berotte family made their presence known and I loved it! I said it from the beginning that this series would be a favorite of mine and I stand on that. Monica Walters does not play when it comes to her characters and their storylines. There are still somethings that have been left unfinished and also a new “Situationship” that I would love to hear more about until then bring on my next in-law… ***Mrs Shyrón Berotte😝***
Monica Walters series books are each complete stories which intertwine with other books in the series. I don't feel cheated reading her series as I do with other authors who leave you with unnecessary cliffhangers to bring you back again.
With that being said this book gave me all of the emotions that I am use to with Monica Walters. I didn't want to like Isaiah but he quickly stole my heart. I love the way he owned his stuff and was not afraid to love. Joyy was on a path of self destruction with no intention on saving herself and had to learn some hard lessons in order to move on. This story moved and captured me from the beginning. (The erotic scenes didn't hurt either🔥)
I’m usually cringing anytime my profession is described in fictional work (movies and books). Simply because it’s usually not depicted well, it has to be dramatized up in some way. So I automatically knew I wouldn’t agree with how counseling is portrayed via Zay.
However, this was worse than what I expected. Even the mention of AA wasn’t accurate. I’ve said it before, but I appreciate some research to give a realistic portrayal in the story.
I didn’t like the couple together and it was weird Gia they were stuck in this holding period for 16 years. This was just a no for me. I could go on and on about what I didn’t like. Curious to read the final book.
The story I would rather read is the messiness of Kaysayn/ Seneca/ Luckey.
Another great installment of the Berotte family Was happy to see Isaiah get his second chance for true happiness with Joyy This story hit on some heavy topics such as alcoholism, depression, betrayal, temptation, adultery, and guilt But we also got we we always get with the Berotte family, love, support, loyalty, friendship and forgiveness. When you become a member of the family you are welcome and immediately encircled in their love and covering Joyy had a journey she needed to go on and she was able to make it with the help of Isaiah and his family and through learning how to love herself again Great lessons throughout the story Great job Monica Can’t wait to read Chad and Lexi story next
Monica, I love this read. It showcased how people can get depressed from keeping things bottled in, also how hurt people hurt people, but not just letting them be by themselves but giving suggestions and solutions to the situations. Isaiah made a choice many years ago that cost him more than he knew. Joyy, made a decision to keep all her emotions inside to the point of self destruction. A chance meeting between Zay and Joyy had them both on a journey of Healing they never knew they needed. As they find their way back together,it's still unresolved issues in this the family. Will everyone come out ok? Or will the family have to go to war? New old love , new life, healthy relationships.🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗
