Bishop knew something had to change when the only bright spots in his life were his online friends. So when a chance to visit one came out of the blue, he knew it was fate…and fate had a plan that involved the guys at his favorite online store, Leashes & Lace.
When had his whole life become so boring?
Cohen knew something had changed the moment he saw the smiling, laughing man across the crowded bar. After a string of bad dates and terrible relationships, his expectations had hit rock bottom…until a smiling pup stepped into his arms and into his life.
When had his whole life become so grown-up?
Ian knew something had to change when he couldn’t remember the last Daddy he’d dated. Unfortunately, while his work had subs popping out from behind every camera lens, Leashes & Lace didn’t have an abundance of Daddies wandering around…or at least they didn’t until a new pup came bouncing into town.
Author’s Note: Our Love is the complete series of three novels that contains Our Pup, Our Boy, and Our Dom. The individual titles will be released separately. As you’ve probably guessed, this sweet romance is about a pup, a little, and a Dom and will be MMM with a wonderfully happy ending.
This is really 3 full-length books set in 1 huge, over 700-page, binding written by another of my favorite authors. I own almost all her books. This volume was so very special. I loved meeting all 3 of these guys again and seeing how they found their individual happiness...as they should have...together. They truly "completed" one another and added something special that they didn't even know was missing in their individual and "couple" lives. We first met the main characters of Bishop, Cohen and Ian in the "Leashes and Lace" series...and this is their own "love story". The story of Cohen; the "Dom" and "Uncle"; Bishop; the "Daddy" and "Pup"; and Ian; the "Little" and "Sub". Ian's friends are some of the guys from the "Leashes and Lace" series that come for regular visits. I laughed and chuckled a lot, at the antics of these crazy side characters. In these 700+ pages we have D/s, relationships, age play, puppy, play, and contemporary, romance. It begins with Ian and Bishop finding their place not only together, but also with Cohen. You know from the start that these men just absolutely HAVE to become a trio. These combined books are soft and sweet, and totally hot. Now I have to search out Ian's friend, Emerson's story.
I said, after the last M.A. Innes book, that I was going to take a break from this author. I really should have stuck to that. This series didn’t seem to know what it was supposed to be. A book about a Dom and his subs? A book about a Daddy and a little? A threesome? Love? No love? What? Good grief. The book seemed to skim the surface of everything. The roles aren’t well defined. The relationships seemed so uneven. I finished it, so I guess I didn’t absolutely hate it. It had brief moments that I enjoyed, but not enough for me to recommend reading this. I’m pretty sure I won’t be reading it again. You really need to have read Shaw Montgomery series Leashes & Lace Books 1-3Leashes & Lace Books 4-6. Too many of the characters show up and you’re really supposed to already know them. Otherwise, some of the inside jokes will fly over your head.
9/25/2022 ETA The more I think about it, the more this book bothers me. The author wrote this as though they’d never written nor read a book that contained a poly relationship. All of the arbitrary and contrived rules of engagement. The constant lack of communication. The mostly lost threads. Uggg.
So I quite enjoyed the first book of the trilogy but ended up stopping partway through the second. I may come back to it but probably not any time soon. These books were such a tease. For a book about kink and BDSM, somehow this was incredibly vanilla. 400 pages in all I'd gotten to see was Ian play with some toys and Bishop be a tame pup once. Every single time they say they are going to talk about their boundaries and dynamics, we get 30 pages of them beating around the bush blushing and stuttering at each other and then cut to the next scene and we never actually get to see any real communication? Again maybe this happens later in the series, which was why I enjoyed the first book because I just assumed that I'd get it at the start of the next book, but nope, nada. I feel like these books could have been much better if it was just them exploring a poly relationship and forgo the kink, rather than hinting at it all the time but not delivering
Okay, this book is 799 pages, I "read", maybe 2/3, skimmed the rest because every single interaction is just them having sex, talking about having sex, and giggling. There are 321 uses of the word giggle/giggled/giggling in 800 pages. I swear they are all 8 years old. They appear to be in their 20's or 30's.
So basically there is a puppy, who finds a dom, but then also realizes he's a daddy to a little and he manages to get them all together so you have a dom/handler/uncle + puppy/sub/daddy + sub/little. I did appreciate how they kind of flowed between one role and another, sometimes in the same scene so that wasn't an issue, but they frustrated me. You'd think Ian (the little) was a 15 year old virgin. Blushing, stuttering, hiding. And everything took so bloody long. Turn on the shower, then stand there and talk, tease, giggle for 10 min. I was screaming "you are wasting water! It's going to be cold". They have a reservation at a restaurant and another 10 min. standing in the parking lot while Ian stutters and freaks out and they tease with innuendo. ARRGGHHH Just go in the damn restaurant and the entire time, rather than discuss the fact they are going to be a threesome, it's nothing but sexual teasing and making Ian blush. Sigh.
So yes, I powered through 800 pages but skipped at least a third. Plus this is completely tied into other books so there are tons of people I didn't really know because I'd not read those series. I mean you don't NEED to know but the whole models running around at a magazine naked was just too OTT for me. The best part was Emerson always naked at their slushy nights. When the young'uns were drunk it was amusing but I need more story and less sex to be honest and this seemed to be a relationships based almost entirely on teasing and sex and giggling.
I have enjoyed some of this authors books, a few are faves but it just seems to falling into PwoP, which is no longer for me.
Our Love is a boxset and consists of Our Pup, Our Boy and Our Dom. This story is a MMM and is about Bishop, Cohen and Ian. This story is written by M.A. Innes.
Bishop needed a change and goes to visit his online friend, now he gets to visit his favorite online store Leashes & Lace. When he attends a party he meets Ian and later Cohen.
Cohen was immediately into the smiling man he saw at a party. After the last bad dates his expectations hit rock bottom.... but Bishop changes it.
Ian can't remember the last Daddy that he dated. Working for Leashes & Lace is nice but lots of subs but no Daddies. Until a certain pup comes to town.
This story is about a pup, a Little and a Dom.
I loved Bishop, Cohen and Ian's story so much. It was sweet, sexy, full of feels, fun and very well written. I really recommend Our Love!!
Three books cover the whole story between Ian, Bishop and Cohen in this tale of three men who found love. A great series that I was completely addicted to.
Our Pup - 4*
Pup Bishop only had good parts in his life when it involved his online friends and so when he got the chance he went to visit the guys at his favourite online store Leashes and Lace. When he met Dom Cohen sparks flew and it was obvious to them both that there was a connection between them. But then when he met Litt le Ian who desperately needed a Daddy he was right for that role too. How is that going to work out?
This was a very enjoyable story with the way that the three guys met as well as the way that Bishop interacted with them all. This is the first part of a trilogy and has been published in that series already. Easy to read and understand. I enjoyed this story with the links back to the Leashes and Lace series and the characters Archer and Declan who are featured in this book Beautiful Shame Book 4 Emerson's story is told in this book Owners & Dolls This MMM story contains mature content of BDSM-like natures like DDLB, D/s, puppy play, diapers, stuffies and binkies.
Our Boy - 4*
As the relationship between the three men deepens Little Ian first needs to become more comfortable with his Daddy and have lots of time for play, cuddles and being tucked into bed at night. He also needs to get used to his Uncle Cohen who is definitely a soft touch compared to Daddy. Prepare for fun and games as a Little gives his Daddy and his Dom lessons on how to handle Littles who have had alcohol or were too exuberant.
I enjoyed this part of the story which focused on In the Little of the trio who was adorable but also very demanding when he was in that headspace. I loved the way that Bishop had to be the strict Daddy who could also spoil his boy but that Uncle Cohen was the bad influence who could spoil him too much - a role that he seemed to relish while giving Bishop advice. Easy to read, feel and understand. Our Dom - 4*
Bishop has to leave town to pack up and move his stuff and so he has to leave his boy Ian behind. When the Daddy’s away, it’s their Dom’s turn to play and to figure out how to care for a cheeky Little who has both him and Bishop wrapped around his finger. Hopefully when Bishop returns Cohen will love their boy too.
I enjoyed this part of the story where Cohen got the chance to bond with Ian before the three of them were able to finally take their relationship to a more physical level as well as make plans as it seems it would be more sensible for them all to live together at Cohen's. Easy to read, feel and understand. This definitely made me smile. I’m lucky enough to be on this author’s ARC team. I received the first book, Our Pup, on August 22nd 2022. As of writing this review on September 9th, 2022, I’ve read each of these books 5 times. They are just. that. amazing. These books are some of the best Shaw/MA has written and I’ve read everything in her catalog dozens of times.
In Our Pup, we finally probably meet Bishop. He was first introduced in Wesley Leashes and Laces book back in 2020. I’ve been one of the several begging for his story since he popped up. In the first book, we get a prologue that is Bishop’s side of the conversation from Archer and Declan’s book Beautiful Shame. Getting that small peek into his thought process really set the tone for this book.
I absolutely adore Bishop. His personality is fun. He’s funny and sassy. His pup is adorable and his relationship with Wesley is sweet and caring. He pushes, but never in malice. He wants the best for everyone around him. His Daddy side is fun, but protective. He’s supportive and allows Ian to fully sink into his role. Their first night together as Daddy/little was sweet. He’s wicked, but caring. He’s someone I’d love to know in real life.
Ian, and his crew, are hilarious. He reminds me a lot of Bryan, but maybe a bit more outgoing. The meet cute between he and Bishop is so fun! The scenes with Ian as a little are some of my favorite ever. The sleepover scenes, especially the one where Ian is stuck, is absolutely hilarious. He’s the perfect balance of sweet, sexy and very naughty.
Finally, Cohen. Cohen is the perfect Dom and Uncle for these 2 boys. His projected image has everyone around Leashes and Lace thinking he’s straight, but Shaw has done an amazing job writing Cohen and his relationships between Bishop and Ian. Their first impact play scene was scorching and he’s part in that scene was perfect. He’s part in the stuck sleepover scene was equal parts hilarious and endearing. He’s probably one of my top 5 favorite Doms.
I was really sad to see this one end, but the ending was utter perfection. These books will be ones that I continue to re-read for years to come. I’m so happy we don’t have to say goodbye. I’m sure we’ll see them again in Emerson’s story!
I would recommend that you at least read Houston from the Leashes and Lace series. That entire series is fun, but you’ll get the full Eli experience and learn just why he’s so infamous!
Thank you Shaw for releasing all three books at once. I would have lost patience if we had to wait for the next one in line!
Our Pup I just finished the first book in this trilogy and it was just so stinkin' sweet. I adored Bishop and his personality. You could tell that he was a person that others liked being around because he made them feel important. I loved how up-front he was about his kink and how he learned to make sure that a date/potential Dom was okay with his puppy side. He definitely deserves to find happiness after the pain of past dates. I felt his connection to Cohen (Dom) instantly. They were hot and sweet and I was definitely here for their relationship.
It took me awhile longer to feel his connection to Ian (Little). But once their relationship started to develop it was just as sweet and hot as Cohen/Bishop. I really enjoy stories where we can see how the throuple forms and evolves. It ended just as the relationship between the three was amping up, so I am very anxious to read the next book. I look forward to seeing how Cohen/Ian bond and how their relationship grows.
Our Boy This was a very lovely story with Ian becoming closer to his Daddy, Bishop. I adored seeing how Bishop was able to switch from Cohen's pup/sub to Ian's Daddy. I am a little concerned about Ian's "sleepovers"- lol. I think those boys need some alcohol guidelines. :) The sexy times were hot and I love how they set some firm boundaries (first times are for when they are all together). The first that Ian was flogged was smokin' sexy. Loved it.
I really appreciate how we are getting to see the relationships evolve. So many times in stories, a lot of this is glossed over. But actually having three novels to explore all the sides was a great idea. I cannot wait to read "Our Dom"
Our Dom The last book delves deeper into these men and their relationship. Early on, Bishop leaves to pack up his house and leaves Ian and Cohen alone. During that time, the relationship between the two deepens and they bond even more. I love when Bishop said: most people would be jealous but he was actually relieved not to be the glue holding the relationship together. What an amazing view. He knew that being the one to hold both of these relationships together would be stressful, and could eventually lead to it crumbling.
Cohen and Ian bonding was sweet and hot, but when Bishop returned? That scene was sexy, sweet, and so, so hot all rolled into one. You could feel the love these men felt for each other in every moment. It seemed perfect that it at that moment they all confessed how they felt.
The ending was so satisfying. This would be a threesome that I would love to revisit from time to time to see how they are settling into their lives together. I would have liked to have seen Bishop's reaction to Cohen's surprise (the puppy play area).
I received an ARC from the author for my honest review
Our love is a boxset and it has three books inside, Our pup, Our boy and Our Dom and it’s a complete series.
This series tells us Bishop, Ian and Cohen's story. Bishop is a side character in Beautiful shame 4 (Archer and Declan’s book) and Wesley (Leashes and Lace book 6). I would highly suggest reading those books first because they are fun and you'll get to know Bishop better. Also, there are many cameos in "Our love", especially from the guys from Leashes and Lace, and you might get confused. In the first book we are introduced to our trio. It all starts when Bishop decides to make a trip to visit some of his online friends and he meets two men he connects with at a party. As the story progresses, he tries to navigate two new relationships and the prospect of moving to a new city. Book one focuses mostly on Bishop and Cohen and Bishop and Ian separately. In the second book the three of them get closer and eventually decide to start a relationship. They still have a lot to figure out, mostly about how the dynamics between them would work. Cohen is a Dom; Bishop discovers he’s a switch and Ian is a sub. One of the best moments in book two was the sleepover. Drunk Ian was hilarious. In the third and final book we see them getting more comfortable into their roles and their rela-tionship grows. I really loved all three of them. Bishop was full of energy and love, Ian was cute and sassy and Co-hen was a mix of stern and playful. And I absolutely adored the chemistry between them. I had a fantastic time reading their story. They kept me great company and made me laugh a lot. I hope we’ll get to see those three again. The cameos in the book were great and I’m really intrigued with Emmerson, one of the side char-acters. He was really fun; I can’t wait for his story.
Before we do the deep dive into not one, not two, but THREE glorious books from one of our favorite schmoopy authors MA Innes, I just want to give a shout out for releasing ALL THREE books in one epic set. Since I basically outgrew all my patience pants this was really the way to go and I have no shame in admitting it. This all-in-one trilogy happily combines all of my favorite things about M.A. Innes' writing - pups, littles, Doms, subs, switches, flogging, lace, and Eli - so you just knew it was going to be great from the get-go. Sidenote, I had no idea how much I love "sleepovers" and "slushies" and now all I want is more Emerson, but that's a whole other issue. (It's a teaser. It's meant to be a teaser. You definitely want to read this to find out what I'm talking about).
We start with Our Pup which focuses on Bishop as the epicenter of the budding relationships with Cohen and Cutie (Ian). As always, Innes does a great job letting us get to know Bishop and setting him up to explore his "switch" said which is not really a shocker as we get to know him (this happens early, not really a spoiler). I loved how accepting Cohen is, and how Innes is able to explore the relationships individually and all together as we progress through the three books. Our Boy starts to dive deeper into the daddy/little relationship between Bishop and Ian, and I pretty much loved every time Cohen had to step in and Daddy them both. Then when we get to Our Dom, we really see how the dynamics between all three evolve and it's all kinds of good. These books are soft and sweet, and totally hot. Ian is basically the *ahem* cutest little sub we've ever seen...though I do wonder if Emerson will give him a run for his money. Any way we go, this is a must read for anyone in the mood for the sugary sweet MMM kinkiness that is Our Love.
Thank you for arc read, I voluntarily give this book an honest review. One two three..Rubbies! Life is never going to be boring again. Get ready to giggle, because no ome stands a chance of not loving these characters, we have Bishop as an excitable pup that may or may not have a few missing marbles, Ian is a shy big until his naughty little comes to play, and Cohen the silent dom venturing into handler and fun uncle.
At a surprise engagement party, Bishop is drawn to two men, only Ian is a little and Cohen has never ventured into the lifestyle beyond a dom, while unless you count Eli as a friend. Nothing beats that crash course! Only can a pup be a daddy? It seems Cohen can make a certain pup think, on just how he sees himself. Was he a daddy-pup or was was Ian just an exception? could a pup claims a little, Only if Sir and little will agree to keep him.
Ooh just giggled when Ian's naughtiness comes out. For some one that whined they didn't want a dramatic persona in their life, Uncle Cohen or Handler Dom, after none of that really matter when he was with the two people that made everything brigher. This maybe the all or nothing of things between the three a considerably turn, While the pups away, uncle Cohen is about to become a very active with side tracking little Ian. When Bishop returns will it be to his dom and boy or will uncle be a step daddy?
This box set sees a great mix of 3 very different men and the relationships that bring them all together. I really enjoyed seeing them learning and getting to know each other. Cohen the Dom and super softie Uncle, Bishop the excitable Pup and new Daddy and Ian the sub/Little.
I loved how the story delved a little deeper into the intimacy and emotions of these men. I felt that we got to know them all lot better as they navigate the intricacies of their budding relationship. It was fun, sexy and sweet.
The beautiful dynamic for these three continues to grow and thrive as their feelings deepen. I loved that Cohen was such a pushover for Ian.
Cohen, Bishop and Ian were so perfect for each other. Their unique differences fit together perfectly to create a sweet, fun and super sexy story that I thoroughly enjoyed.
I also loved catching up with the Leashes and Lace crew again. Their craziness knows no bounds. The friendships between them all are sweet and boundary pushing in a fun and sexy way. I especially liked the crazy sleepovers with slushie drinks ensuring it was entertaining for everyone.
Bishop has been feeling a bit at loose ends so he decides to visit his online friends. He finds two guys who pull at him and in normal Bishop logic he chooses both and they approve. Ian hasn't had a Daddy before and Bishop is everything he could ask for and more. He has been attracted to Cohen, but he would have never thought Cohen could be interested in him. Cohen hasn't had a Pup before, but there is something special about Bishop. Cohen has noticed Ian before, but never knew he was anything other than vanilla.
These three complete each other and add something special that the others didn't know they needed in their lives. They enrich each others lives and remind each other that they are special and deserve affection, comfort, care, respect, discipline, and love. These three might have a some surprises in store for themselves, but as long as they keep their communication open things will be wonderful.
I personally liked Bishop and Cohen's "books" better since they flowed better to me. Ian's book was a bit slower, but the guys were trying to figure out how they were going to work together.
These three books are so amazing! I loved how Ian, Bishop and Cohen build their relationship. Each one puts something unique. The fact that there are three different novel long books mean that the author has the opportunity of showing more special moments between the characters, and how their feelings grow together. The POVs are evenly distributed so you have a good idea how each one is really feeling and their hopes in this threesome. Evoeryone deserve a Bishop in live, someone who gives you a kick when necessary, or an ear and a shoulder and always with a happy attitude; Ian is my chosen in this story, I love the dicotomy of a naughty little and the special feeling he has with uncle Cohen, who I,at first thought the responsible adult but in reality is the more dangerous of theese three men. M.A. Innes has built a very interesting world with many amazing characters, Eli and Emmerson are my favorite in these books. I liked how easy to read this was, if you like your daddies not so serious your littles spicy and good natured doms this book is for you.
This series is the cutest MMM romance I’ve ever read, but it’s also one of the steamiest books I read.
The series is about Bishop, who is looking for his love since years. When he visits his online friends, he finds two men. Bishop is a pub, Ian a little and Cohen a Dom. Everyone would think, that will not work, but at the end there is a submissive pub who has a Dom and handler and is the Daddy of a little, a Dom who is handler and Dom of a submissive pub and Dom of a submissive little and a little who has a Daddy and a Dom.
Clearly it needs time to fine their perfect relationship, it’s so great to follow these three men finding their HEA.
M.A. has the gift to write a mix between cute, hot and romantic scenes. I had to laugh so much about the sleepovers :-) You have to read the three books in one piece, you will not be able to stop after the first Orten second book. If you haven’t read the other books of M.A. you will have a new TBR because we meet a lot of the guys Fronten other books and you will wish to get their stories.
Definitely 5 🌟 for all 3 books. Bishop is internet friends with Warren but went to visit him, and the crew from L&L. On a night out he met Ian and ended up going home with Cohen. He introduced Cohen to his pup and they got on perfectly. Cohen never realised he needed a pup in his life. Then Bishop and Ian grew close, Ian being a little. Bishop realising Ian needed to de-stress said he would be his stand in daddy, but feeling grew. Cohen had feeling for his pup and was helping his pup/ daddy with Ian. Bishop wanted all three to have a relationship together. When Bishop went home to collect his stuff, Cohen and Ian's relationship grew. Bishop was so relieved. These books build up the three men's relationships and how the grew together. Absolutely loved Ian's sleep overs where they all had slushies x I received an advanced copy of this book for a honest review
I have been looking forward to Bishop’s book for quite some time and it is as always a wonderfully enjoyable read with a brilliant mix of domination and submission, loads of sexy times, a pup/Daddy, a sassy slightly manipulative but so stinking cute little, and the Dom great enough to keep them both in line. Bishop is the puppy that realises he’s actually a switch, Ian is his little and Cohen is their Dom. If I had a bit I didn’t like about this book, it would be that it was more about Ian and his little side, not about Bishop the pup, it too me felt a little lop sided this is just my opinion and in no way detracted from the book as a whole, which was absolutely great. My favourite but about MA Innes books is the fact that other characters ‘pop in’ and my favourite line is about Eli! Well worth reading.
Amazing! I only hope my review does it justice. I’m all about the emotions when I read and this trilogy was perfect for that. I have been wanting Bishop’s story and really enjoyed getting to know him. Ian is the most adorable little. I found myself slipping into the headspace a few times. Cohen surprised me or shall I say Uncle Cohen did. I wasn’t expecting that side of him. What really made this sing for me is how we got to see the steps in the relationships rather than glimpses. And the sleepovers were the best. Made me want to read them all over again. If you like pups, littles, Daddies, and Doms plus a romance that will have your heart sighing then this is the perfect read for you.
This was a wonderful romance, featuring three amazing men. Bishop needed someone who really understood him, and he found that in both Cohen and Ian. Over time, Bishop's separate relationships with the other men grew into an unbreakable bond between all three. These are terrific characters, and they made me smile. Their romance is sweet and sexy, with some very nice kink thrown in for good measure. I like how this author gives us glimpses of beloved characters, as she does here. I can't wait to see how she revisits these lovers in future books. They are good individually and fantastic together. I loved this!
This was 2.5 stars for me. It bounced between 2 and 3 stars, but I couldn't find a good reason to round up to 3 stars. I did like Cohen’s character, but pup stuff with Bishop was unconvincing. Sometimes during the dialogue, it was not clear which character was speaking. When there are a lot of characters in a dialogue, it's important to know who is speaking. I thought the use of an online group of minor characters to bring Bishop into the story was clumsy. There were many other ways to set him in this story. And his train journey complicated the story for no reason. I did find the get togethers with Ian and his friends funny; not believable, but funny.
This book is technically all three parts of a trilogy, but I’m glad I did t have to read them separately. It’s a love story between a Dom, Cohen, and his sub and pup Bishop. And between a little, Ian and his daddy Bishop. And then Ian also becomes Cohen’s sub, so it’s a wonderful mix of roles that works as they all fall in love. There are a lot of characters in this book, and I’m definitely going to need to read their stories, but it feels like a giant living family as they support the three main characters in their journey the a bright HEA.
Bishop finally got his story told.. I loved every moment of this book. All I have done was read this book from the moment I started it. I would live to go in detail but then I know I would spoil the story cause it was just that much detail. I think if you like to read about Doms, Daddies, Pups, and Little then this is the book for you to read. It has them all. Happy Reading 📚!!!!!
MMM, D/s, Age Play, Puppy, Play, Contemporary, Romance. Easy to read page-turner with great characters and an explosion of EVERYTHING!! as I have come to expect and love from this author. A fantastic box set, each book needs reading in series order and will not work as stand-alone reads. I thoroughly enjoyed reading their love story and I laughed so much at their antics. Guaranteed HEA.
I loved these books and I’m so very glad they were released together because waiting between books would have been frustrating. I love the three MCs together and how they each had multiple roles within their dynamic: Cohen as Dom and Uncle; Bishop as Daddy and Pup; and Ian as Little and Sub. I’m looking forward to Emerson’s story and can’t wait to learn more about his Owner. Plus, more sleepovers with slushies :D
I just love how we got three different sections to the one on-going story. A complete story. It's so frustrating when the book ends and I'm like, "wait I want More." Or " what about this or that?" That does not happen with MA Innes. This is a fantastic story of three guys different in their own way who are perfect for each other and we get to read about them from beginning to the end. Loved
I completely fell in love with this story. The characters are so wonderful and cute, the world building is completely awesome and I just didn’t want it to end. I absolutely loved everything about this story and when I was done reading it, I flipped back to the beginning and read it again. This is now one of my favorite stories to reread. I highly recommend reading this.
