Nice
I likes second chance love stories when they make sense. When a couple breaks up after one partner cheats, it's a toss up if they will find their second wind. Five years was a long time to still be in love with your cheater man friend. I'm not that woman, but don't listen to me 😀. Trinity and Jaasai's history had a different outcome that impacted their future together. I enjoyed this story.

Second time around.....
Ms. Monae, I will be the first to say you nailed this second chance romance. Jaasai and Trinity managed to get a re-do or retry however you look at it. Jaasai realized over the years that Trinity was the "one that got away." He knew that when he played his hand this time that it had to be a royal flush. He put his thoughts and creativeness to work to get his lady back. He made sure to be very attentive to her needs. The wow 😮 scene was when he was under the table at the restaurant "tending" to Trinity's needs. He pulled out all stops and used every resource to validate his love. He was a determined man which always speak volumes. Trinity had to realize that forgiveness was for her. Once she accepted that her life changed for the better. Jaasai supported Trinity's dreams and even made a gigantic one come true.
This was a novella however it was fulfilling and powerful. Ms. Monae did her thing again. She gave all the feels with plenty of intimacy and steamy scenes. Sometimes getting a second time at love is the best move. The familiarity can be a blessing and help establish a concrete foundation. I highly suggest this book. Grab your copy today.

The first couples of sentences had my mouth open that I knew this book was going to be bomb.. I love trinity and jaasai they were meant for each other she just had for forgive him let go it took a min but once she did it was on!! I love how jaasai went the extra mile to get his woman back.. I’m happy they got a second chance at love!!

Second chance love
I always love a good second chance love story and seeing how when that one is your person you will eventually end up back together. Jasaai and Trinity were cute together. He hurt her being young and dumb but he didn’t fumble his second chance and fought for Trinity to show her he was all in and wouldn’t make the same stupid mistakes as before. I liked the growth that Trinity showed in realizing that she needed to forgive his past indiscretions for herself so that they could move forward without looking back. I liked that Jasaai realized he made a mistake and owned up to it and was willing to do whatever to show he was sorry and wouldn’t mess up again. Very cute and quick read.

Quick read, with all the feels. Jaasai was young and dumb as he put it, and stepped out on the love of his life, Trinity. Trinity was not having that, I will forgive you mess! Kicked him smooth out of her life! Fast forward five years, they run into each other to find that all the feelings are still there. Trinity doubts him at first, as the past rears its ugly head; but he still has her heart! Jasaai shows her his sincerity and maturity, to make things work this time. Really cute second chance love story. 👍👍👍

Monae knew how to come with this book freaky and nasty from the first couple of chapters lol just how I like it!!!
I love a good second chance love story and and this author didn’t disappoint at all. Skippy lol and Jaasai were definitely meant to be and I was glad that Jaasai didn’t give up and he proved that he can be trustworthy and learned from his past mistakes.
I really enjoyed this love story and I highly recommend this book 📚

The One
Jaasai and Trinity were meant to be together. I felt the connection between them, the sex, the irresistible pull, it was just believable and made me root for them. I liked that we were able to see Trinity’s steps to forgiving Jaasai, and the effort he put forth. Everyone has a different path to love and forever.

I struggled to believe this story. It was too much of a coincidence that after being broken up for five years, the day Trinity decides to unblock her ex-boyfriend that broke her heart by cheating on her and possibly getting another woman pregnant, he just happens to send the “hey big head” text. I can only speak for myself, but memories of the man who broke my heart would not prompt me to want to please myself. Then for him to randomly be in her neighborhood and the first thing she does is give him her body… I just found myself struggling with this. It would’ve been better if the author took her time and worked on the believability of the storyline so that readers can be more receptive to the reconciliation.

This author is definitely a 1 click author now. Her books are certain to be a good read! This particular second chance trope isn’t always easy to write in a way that satisfies the readers. Often times, there seems to be know real reason to give the offending party a second chance. Here Trinity was no push over. She left J swiftly when he betrayed her. Even after pining all these years she stuck to her guns. Naturally, I was curious as to what happened but the steamy scenes take over Trinity’s heart as well as ours🥰

Fighting for that second chance at love!
Jaasai and Trinitys story was such a sweet second chance at love book. This was a quick read but it was well written, Jaasai said if he got the opening he was going to take it and Trinity didn’t have a chance 🤣.

Our Fractured Destiny
This book was really good and held my attention from the very first page. Trinity and Jaasai was definitely meant for each other. I was happy they reconnect and gotten back to together. Hopefully we get an update on them soon.

Five years ago, Jaasai hurt Trinity and destroyed their love. A memory and a chance meeting dredge up old feelings again. Love and passion are in this in heavy doses. I love to read a good second chance at love book and I wasn't disappointed in Trinity's and Jaasai's story.
