A NEW BEGINNING. A NEW RESOLVE. A NEW QUEST. Contains mature content with a strong male lead and sexy girls.
After the failure during the Frozen Mountains Expedition, TC, broken and defeated, shuts himself away and retreats to live in the woods. More than a few months go by before he accidentally wanders into the abandoned, old ruins he visited once before. The same old ruins he spent a night with Eve and Luna when escorting the little elf back home.
To keep his mind occupied and his hands busy, he decides to rebuild the place. Hesitant at first, our hero goes back to Saramis to seek for help, where he meets Melanie, a former companion struggling to find work. She brings her friend Ruby with her, who is more than eager to make a few coins. As time goes by, TC, still ridden with guilt and sorrow, notices that Melanie might be falling for him.
When another incident with a possible Forced Pact enslavement comes out to light, with Sebastian being one behind it, TC decides he needs to do something about it. If there is magic that can forcefully form a pact with a girl, then there has to be magic that can negate or protect the girls from it.
While in Saramis, TC visits the Summoning Temple where he asks Farla, the temple priestess, if she knows anything about such magic. Farla jumps at the opportunity to invite TC on a date. He agrees to, what he thinks, is just a friendly walk, only to learn that the ribbon goddess might have deeper feelings for him. At the same time, he finds out a secret about Farla that could be connected to the magic that he is looking for.
Will TC be able to foil Sebastian's plans and take revenge for what happened to Eve? Will Farla be able to win TC’s heart or will Melanie be the one for him?
A New Beginning is a fourth book in Circle Star Adventure series. A fantasy novel with Gamelit adventure elements.
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Well written totally enjoyable. Great descriptive writing. Story line is excellent and easy to get lost in enjoyment and wonder.
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I really enjoyed this book.. Fun characters.. Good action. Very enjoyable story line..looking forward to starting the next book soon!!
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Honestly, there is really nothing to dislike. I’ve been following this author for quite a while now. I’ve watched this tale sprout, bud and bloom! I am extremely happy to have come across this novel and author. This volume is low on romance at the start and for good reasons. I’m not going to spoil it for new readers. However, this is a fantasy and it builds slowly. The work is great! He drops us into this world and we have to grow in this new place with the protagonist. This is slightly different from the standard protagonist to hero novels. It is refreshing in my opinion. I’m very happy following this author.
PBesides the, ha ha and the hee hee...Melanie just went to TC's bedroom door and offered herself to him... ugh TC has wanted to fight a couple people because Eve is gone, but he is lusting after every female in the book. It is sickening. He is extremely immature and you can't tell me Eve meant anything to him. Every smile any female gives him instantly makes him wonder if she wants him. This is most egotistical bunch of crap I've ever read. I can't finish this. I will glance through because I am curious about the history of the house and the sword TC found.
"Oh gee, I'm sorry, ha ha, tee hee, Did I just see you nude, sorry, ha ha hee hee, did she want to scrub my back, huh? hee hee, does she like me, oh gosh, I can't sleep, does he like me, I'm sorry, huh ? ha ha hee hee, oh sorry, he looks so inviting, I stared to long at her, huh? I stared to long at him, I'm blushing, she is blushing, he is blushing, ha ha, hee hee, is she inviting me, her innocent, everyday wording couldn't be a coincidence, those words must have meant she wanted me, huh? Ha!
The one woman says, Would you like to come inside? TC goes on and on about this. He can't believe that she said this. It could not have been a coincidence. I'm thinking, What is he talking about? I go back and I read it again. What am I missing? 3 times or so I read it over and I finally caught that this is something rude and vulgar. How often have you watched a show, a movie, read a book that someone opens the door and says, Would you like to come inside? I can remember my mom saying this. I believe I've said this myself. This is an everyday, normal saying and I can't believe this. I'm am so sickened. If TC says 'up' ..I think if anyone else uses the word 'up' TC automatically thinks of his penis. Okay, this is a deleted book for me. I'm not reading the rest.
