Lucid Dreaming

by Pamela ball

In the book Lucid dreaming by Pamela ball she describes how to lucid dream as well as philosophy and history which shrouds this ancient and secretive action. Egypt, Native Americans, Hindu, Latin and other ancient civilizations all have records be that in stone, paper, or writing share records about Lucid Dreaming. Dreaming has always been a complicated topic, Most people can’t even remember their dreams. Dreaming is a insight to your subconscious mind, which repairs your mind through rest. Have you ever felt like you weren’t in control in your dream? Say a nightmare, where everything isn’t under your control. Well how would you like to be able to control that dream, confront what ever is causing your dreaming self ansk and debunk that whatever was troubling you was nothing more than a blip in your mind. Well with this book: lucid dreaming you can do that and so much more.

Have you had a flying dreaming, all your stress floats away as you fly over the roof of your house and off into the night sky? For though who cannot lucid dream(haven’t learned yet) about 80% will only experience this 1-5 times in their life. With those who can dream lucidly you may if you choose do this every night for the rest of your life. Lucidity in your dreams allows you to make any choices you desire, without the repercussions which occur in daily life. Being lucid in your sleep will allow you to do literally what ever you desire. Its just the learning part is the hardest. When I first started to read this book I was completely lost in how to attain my goal of full lucidity in my sleep. But as I read on I learned techniques to practice which made you realize you are indeed dreaming. one of these techniques is the “MILD” Technique,Mnemonic Induction of Lucid Dreams. Although there are many techniques to induce lucidity in a dream this is the easiest for a beginner. There are also different techniques to make dreams last longer such as rubbing your hands together or

Pamella describes her dreams with grandiose details and vivid memory experiences. She teaches the reader how to do what she does, and to me is the greatest gift she could have ever bestowed to me, for my life. Before I read this book I had trouble acting in social situations. I would often mar what I meant to say due to being nervous. After I read this book and had the ability to lucid dream I now am able to interact more sociable. It may sound far fetched to someone who doesn't dream lucidly but every night for weeks I would dream about having conversations with people in my school, mostly people whom I do not interact with normally. Lucid dreaming has allowed me to interact with other people better, as well as make friends easier. The really cool thing about dreaming is the scene you start off in is chosen by your subconscious mind and you only have choice over your actions in your dreams. Dreaming is a very cool thing and I challenge anyone who reads this to research this topic.
