These two are shocked when they go out on a date Aziel thought he was going on with a rich guy because the amount of the check. These two had crushes on each other as kids but both were to shy to say anything. They begin hanging out while working on Ervin's house. I really liked both of these characters they take their time getting reacquainted with each other. These two also get a surprise or two and Aziel realizes that he has to make some decisions about the future. I really liked Garth and I hope that you guys write about him. I also liked Aziel's bosses and would love to read about them. This book was well written with no errors in grammar or spelling. I am looking forward to reading the next book in this series.
Ernie and Aziel had been friends who were both crushing on each other, but things happened and they grew apart. But a bachelor auction and baked goods bring them together.
Alpha Aziel and omega Ervin were best friends when Aziel stayed with his grandfather over summer breaks growing up. Their senior year more mature feelings started to push their way in but neither one was willing to risk their friendship for a date. Then both of them went away for college. Now Aziel has a big job in the city and Ervin has a job teaching music in his hometown. When Aziel's grandfather has a bad fall, Aziel returns to take care of him. His meddling grandfather learns that Aziel isn't dating sets him up sneakily. He has Aziel bake his grandfather's prize winning recipe for pound cake and take it to the charity auction. He has no clue whose cake it is but knows the alpha will be calling him to set a a date. When date time arrives, both Aziel are shocked and thrilled to find it is each other. Maybe this second time they will take a chance on love.

This is a cute and sweet story. It is book 2 of Bake Sale Bachelors Season Four and I just loved it. This is the story about Ervin and Aziel. Ervin is an omega and local music teacher. He loves his job and his dog Lollipop. He wants someone to share his life with but he hasn't gotten over his first crush. Aziel is an alpha who has come back to his childhood home to help his grandfather recover from surgery. Luckily he is able to work from home so keeping an eye on grandpa is doable. He too is feeling a little lonely and he hasn't forgotten his childhood crush who lived next door. With a little grandfather conniving, Aziel shows up to the bachelors auction with his pound cake without knowing what is involved. He leaves before the bidding because his grandfather needs help. Ervin shows up at the auction to bid on a bachelor in his friends stead. Unfortunately he was told the wrong timing and the only thing left is the pound cake. When Ervin eats the cake, he thinks it tastes like his childhood. When his friend arranges the date, Ervin and Aziel meet. The childhood best friends and crushes meet for a picnic. This is their story. I loved both the main characters. They were kind and thoughtful. I loved how they cared for the people in their lives and each other. This is a very well written book and easy to read. I loved it.

Pound cake paradise was a cute and sweet take on the alpha and omega trope.
Ervin is an omega who living in Clearvale, a small town where he grew up. He had all his firsts there, including his first crush. Unfortunately, he wasn't able to be with his crush then, but maybe he could be now?
Alpha Aziel hasn't been back in Clearvale since he was a teenager visiting his grandpa over the summers. His grandpa fell and got injured so Aziel went to help him during his recovery, while there his grandpa asked him to make his famous pound cake recipe for the bachelor fundraiser.
He didn't expect that cake would bring him face to face with his childhood crush, the one who got away.
I really enjoy all of the sweet characters Lorelei creates, they are really good at writing! This story was sweet and to the point.
The only reason I didn't give this a 5 star rating is because I wish this was longer. I always want more with Lorelei's books, I always feel like they happen too fast and are too short. That's not to say they aren't good! They always are, I just wish sometimes there was more.
I recommend this to anyone who enjoys an alpha who makes award winning pound cake and an omega who's fixing up his childhood home.

What a sweet short story that features a pound cake as the main ingredient for a 2nd Chance Love Story. It was an easy reading for me which I really enjoyed. I’ve come to appreciate the author’s style of writing and the trope she normally uses in her stories. If it was not for her, I probably wouldn’t have enjoyed the Alpha/Omega mpreg type of trope. Whenever she gets a new book out, I get excited and want to read it.
The story centers on Ervin, an omega who was given his childhood house by his parents after the last tenants moved out. The tenants didn’t do a good job keeping it clean and such so Ervin had his hands full on renovating it with help from his best friend, Gavin. In the meantime, Aziel, an alpha who used to live next door to Ervin and crush over him when they were younger came back to take care of his grandpa who had a surgery and needed some help. Unbeknownst to Ervin who also was crushing over Aziel was somewhat forced by Gavin to drop off a cake for an auction at the school where he teaches picked up a cake made by Aziel. The thing was whoever picked the cake had to go on a date. That’s where I’m going to stop and have you pick up the book to read and find out what happens!!!!
Sometimes, you must go home again. Omega Ervin, is happy in Clearvale. He's living his life with his job as a music teacher, renovating his childhood home and his precious dog, Lollipop. He just needs someone to share it with. is friend, Gareth is helping him cleanup his house. Alpha Aziel likes spending summers in Clearvale with his Granmps. He especially loves it because Gramps lives next door to his crush, Ervin. He never shared his feelings thinking it would lead to awkwardness between them. Aziel, is home now to keep an eye on Gramps after he's released from hospital. Aziel, bakes a cake for the auction as a favor to Gramps and finds it comes with a date. Gareth has Ervin, drop off a donation and bid on a dessert. It's like Gareth and Gramps are Cupid1 and Cupid2. Getting reacquainted is so much fun. Ervin and Aziel get to know each other and themselves as they communicate and grow. Great story. Fun, sweeet and entertaining. Well done! I received an ARC and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Ervin grew up and has lived in Clearvale, all of his life. Currently enlisting the help of his best friend, Gareth to fix up his house, he is roped into the bachelor auction. All he has to do is wear a suit, make a donation, get a date and a dessert. What could possibly happen? Well, quite a bit.
Aziel returned to Clearvale to help care for his gramps, after he sustained an injury. While reminiscing about his past and first love, he was conned by his larger-than-life grandfather, into donating a cake into the bachelor's auction.
To his surprise, Ervin won the date and things progressed rather quickly from there. Their childhood romance blossomed as if no time had ever passed between them. Without a second thought, Aziel's decision to move back home was a lot easier than either thought. Both had such a wonderful support system between; family, friends and co-workers.

I loved this book! The story of Aziel and Ervin is one of childhood neighbors who get a second chance at their first crush. It all happens when Aziel returns to town to help his gramps recover from a fall. A pound cake donated for a charity auction will bring them back together again. I love how they pick back up where they left off and get to start a whole new relationship. Aziel has come back to Clearvale to help look after his Gramps after the older man suffered a fall. Ervin has move back to town to renovate his childhood home which happens to be next door to Gramps. A turn of fate finds Ervin as the winning bidder at a charity auction for a dessert and date with Aziel as his prize. The two reconnect and explore the romantic relationship that they never allowed themselves to consider when they spent their summers together in high school. Sweet MM romance with knotting, a cute dog and mpreg.
This was a wonderfully light second chance romance. I appreciated the angst-free storyline. Ervin and Aziel have been crushing on each other since childhood. I enjoyed Aziel's feisty grandpa and his machinations to make sure his grandson gets to build something real with Ervin. Aziel is a man with a big heart and he gives so much to those he loves. Ervin wants nothing more than to build a life with him. I loved that everyone seems to want to help them along on their journey to a HEA. Highly recommended author and series
I loved this book. It was such a sweet second chance romance. Alpha Aziel and Omega Ervin were such a wonderful couple. They had been childhood friends and Ervin's crush who got away. When Aziel returns to town to take care of his injured grandfather, he participates in a charity fundraiser with Gramps' pound cake recipe. Ervin won the auction- and a date with Aziel. I loved watching them reconnect and start a romance. I also really liked Gramps, and a dog named Lollipop just brought a huge smile to my face. 5 stars.

In this book we meet Ervin & Aziel. These two met when they were young boys but lost touch when life started to intrude. Now Aziel is back in their small town and wonders if his first crush is still here. Ervin has never forgotten his first crush and when he sees Aziel again he is not sure what to do. Can these two find a HEA or will they let the old fears keep them apart again?
Another amazing hit by this author. I would highly recommend it to anyone.
This is a sweet story, not only because of pound cake, but a second chance for childhood best friends. As is with these stories, the alpha and omega are both extremely sweet, loving and caring good guys. When they meet again, they find their feelings only grew stronger during their time apart. The story is a loving one with a Gramps and Bassett Hound named Lollipop to help this couple along to HEA.

This is such a sweet second chance story. Ervin & Aziel lost out on a chance together when they were younger only to get this second chance. It's a cute and fun story following them as they take advantage of this shot at love this time.
Who says you can't go home again?! Being back with his grandfather brings Aziel back to Clearwater and his first love. Moving into his childhood home puts Ervin in Aziel's path. The book shows how the two men catch up and make up for lost time. This story is so sexy and sweet!.

What a sweet second chance romance. More than the pound cake bringing them together there are a couple of unknowing characters that play perfectly into having these two, Ervin and Aziel back into each other's lives. Sweet and entertaining, I loved it. I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of this book.
OMG...this was so cute and sweet. I love reading childhood friends who become more...this was sweeter because both guys had secret crushes. Who knew a delicious pound cake would bring them together. I loved this. Fate was definitely on their side with the bake sale auction. I now want to try some of that pound cake. His grandpa has impeccable timing when he needs assistance. I loved it from cover to cover. I already want to do a reread!

Thus is a very low angst, fluffy read featuring friends to lovers to mates then parents. Gramps plays a feature role in helping two old friends re acquaint with each other and share that they were each others first crush.
A second chance for Ervin and Aziel after going their separate ways after being friends at school. Neither revealed their true feelings to not ruin their friendship. An easy read.
