This eye opening true story had me from the beginning. It was interesting to learn how easy it is for big banking institutions to manipulate the system and intimidate you. The story shows how if you don’t stay involved and on top of what is happening with your money/estate, big banks will control the narrative between the parties involved. And lastly how this poor widow had to spend all these years fighting for the money she helped earn while it slowly took her last good healthy years. I hope this book saves many families the time, money and heartache if left in this same situation.

A MUST READ for anyone to understand the realities of estate planning, and how our legal system actually works.
The authors takes the reader through a roller coaster ride dealing with the harsh realities of dealing with our judicial system. Just when you think the system can't be more petty and evil, the judicial system proves you wrong yet again.
Reading this book reminded me of the movie quote from the cult classic movie WAR GAMES from the 80's.
“A strange game. The only winning move is not to play. How about a nice game of chess?”
after Joshua and Stephen Falken played out all possible outcomes for Global Thermonuclear War
The only way to win in our legal system is not to PLAY (stay out of court at all costs).

If you're interested in how broken our legal system is, or you enjoy reading a story where the little guy wins, this is your book. What Chase put Jo through was unconscionable. Well written and entertaining.

Jo Hopper tells the horrifying story of how JP Morgan Chase, the largest bank in the US, is perfectly willing to take advantage of a widow. But in this case, the widow fights back.
