This book was hard for me to read. It was incredibly well written and lots of fun but I am not sure I realized how little I knew about pricing until I tried to read this. I might have had an easier time reading a book in a second language - that's how it felt.

I paused partway through this book and had a fantastic conversation with some of my mentors at Billtrust and I talked to our very own pricing expert and felt a lot more grounded after that and really enjoyed finishing this book.

I loved the rap song references - it helps ground where in the book I found what idea. The book is full of great examples and tables to reference. I highlighted a lot of the content and plan to refer back often.

I'd highly recommend this one for anyone in the software industry even if pricing isn't part of your day to day job.

A must read for anyone in software! Provides a clear framework, methodology and tips on how to think about pricing for your product. It takes a function that most companies/folks don’t have clarity on and makes it very easy to understand and create. The writing is also very engaging and easy to follow. Two thumbs way up!
