----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

As a Dirty Sinners prospect, I have to prove myself. Prove that I’m loyal, dedicated, and trustworthy. I’m loyal and dedicated to the Sinners, but some may question my trustworthiness. Men who keep secrets don’t seem to last very long around here. Though my secret is nothing that will harm anyone, I’m still living in the danger zone.

To my surprise, the Sinners think someone else is keeping secrets, and it’s my job to stay close to her. I’ve been ordered to keep tabs on Dannie McFarland, and I don’t mind that task at all. What the Sinners don't know is that the beautiful library clerk has been on my radar since she first arrived in Haven. I have to make her mine, but will she bring me to my knees first?

This September, 18 of your favorite authors take you to the mountains of Haven, Tennessee. This small town is known for its wild times, alpha men and the Dirty Sinners MC—a group of rowdy hellraising bikers who don’t have a problem getting their hands dirty in order to do good. Crime, passion and the forbidden temptation of love will push them all to the line.

Will they ride through life craving soulmates as their penance for the crimes they’ve committed? Or can a Dirty Sinner be saved?

Incomplete story

Technically all the chapters are there but at the end of chapter five it stops being a story and becomes an outline. It switches over from first person POV with two viewpoints and it becomes more like bullet points of what’s supposed to happen. I’m not sure if the author forgot to finish telling the story and since it looks complete she just posted it but it just comes across as lazy because it’s quite clear that the change has happened and it’s no longer a story and would have been apparent had it been given a thorough reread.

Given two stars because it has potential to be good if it was completed.

I’m sorry to write this but ALL the serie is such a mess!!! When I see a series with Cameron Hart, Jaycee Wolfe and Ember Davis I’m all in, whatever they write and I take advantage to get to know new authors through the series because that’s how I met them, but this… wow… some of the books are bad, sorry, some are not safe, this is my problem but with them in I expected different, one of the books doesn’t have even one sex scene, judge me, and this one is not even written,
The last part of the book feels like notes from the author to develop but there’s no book, no dialogue no sex scenes, again, nada…
Maybe something happened to her but this is my last chance with the author and with this series, such a mess, such a disappointment
Cameron Hart’s, Jaycee Wolfe’s books are very good
Ember Davis’s has one scene I could live without and maybe the first book is the only authentic MC style book,
I’m sorry 😞

Dirty Sinners MC series, by different authors

Trigger warnings
DV

Slick, a prospect for DSMC, is the brother of a famous football player, but no one in the club knows that. He's been hiding that fact from them. Dannie comes to town to find him, having been in love with him for years, but they've never met. (Confusing) Reaper wants Slick to watch Dannie, not trusting her. There are so many secrets around this book. There's no way to describe the rest without spoilers.

The flow felt strange on this book. Even though all these books are written by different authors, they typically flow about the same. This one did not. It was a confusing read. The plot was decent, and it had potential, but it just didn't feel right.

This fanboy obsession is kinda strange

This was a lovey-dovey, sappy, star in your eyes kinda school girl crush kinda book. With the dirty sinners, I was looking for a rough and tough biker. I was expecting a 'secret' not a hidden identity, because everyone has something to hide. Their secrets weren't so drastic that church had to be called to decide their fate, because I didn't see anything so bad that they had to be in fear of their lives. Dolly being his aunt was very unexpected. Glad he made peace with his brother and it worked out for both of them.

What the?

This story was going well and has the potential to be good, but what happened to this book? Is it incomplete? After they leave the strip club, it switches to 3rd person and everything is in narrative. There is no dialogue after that. It reads like a vague summary or outline. It's awful and makes no sense to write this way. Is this an old draft? Is the book actually not done?

nope

Dannie and Slick had the potential to be a good story and it was going okay until around 72% and then all the sudden the writing just went off the rails. The point of view kept switching in odd ways and at odd times and the whole rest of the story felt like it was forced out and kind of an after thought or even like it was an outline of what the story could have been. Very disappointing.

Horrible

This book starts like the others from this series from the characters point of view then it gets choppy and jumps around and goes to a summary almost like this is the outline for the book the author meant to write... It is to bad too, it seems like it would have been a great story is it was will written.

Secrets catch up to you

I was enjoying Slick and Danni's story until half way through chapter five when we suddenly switch from first person pov to third person for the remainder of the book...very odd, and it ruined the flow of the book for me.
As much as I love this series I was a little disappointed in this book. I read this on Kindle Unlimited.

Another amazing read in the Dirty Sinners MC series. Slick has secrets and as the prospect of the group he is ordered to follow the new librarian around. I absolutely love Dannie and how she has always loved Slick, and even knows his secrets. These two have the perfect ending and I love every word Bree writes.

incomplete

Not sure what happened here but the book starts out great then turns into just like an outline? Either the author submitted to wrong draft for publishing, or just got very lazy. Super disappointing in what has so far been a great series.

Started out good but….

About half way through it moved to third person pov and completely lost the flow. Disappointing since it started out well. I would adjust my rating if the book was edited and revised.

Could have been better

This book was really short and I wish it was written just a little bit better. The POVs really confused me. And I couldn't get into the story. It felt like I was in the story and then I was watching the story.

Just okay

The writing of this book was great, but neither main character did anything bad or were keeping horrible secrets so it seems the author added the scene with the Dirty Sinners just so there would be conflict; it made no sense to me and seemed somewhat juvenile.

Disappointed

This book started ok but soon read like an outline to a book instead of an actual story. Definitely needs work.

Slick

Slick is a prospect with a secret. A famous football player brother. But will that matter to the club or his one. Okay book.

Good Story

A lot of drama but actually a good story. The club scene was awkward but well written and auntie coming to the rescue was ok .

Hopeless Romantic

Great Characters and story lines. Slick and Dannie’s love story is so cute. A little scary at time. But it has it happy ending
