This purchase was a complete waste of money and time for me. I do not understand how it has the ratings it has. It is largely "what" and very little "how". For example, the reader is offered such gems as "leadership is responsible"; "victory is inevitable"; "character and good values make trust possible. And trust makes leadership possible". Buy a book of quotes and skip the trite clichés -- and the author's religious proclamations.

Good for secular business leaders and people like that, but I don’t love it for Christians. It has good principles Christians can apply, but it’s very focused on getting people to like you, depend on you, and you build up your own image. Definitely not a pastoral leadership book haha. The chapters are very drug out for no reason. Good principles, but could be way shorter and less self-centered.

A Truly Foundation Book on Leadership

As a business coach and a father, this book has been critical in my leadership development. By understanding these Laws and putting them into practice, my life has become easier and my impact far greater than I thought possible. Thanks, John!

Still a classic

Classic leadership principles never go out of style which is why I teach these laws to all students in my senior English course. Thanks for updating the parables used to enforce each law.
