Intriguing!
I immediately liked the female protagonist. She is very “real” and shows both strengths and weaknesses. The premise drew me in and I just kept reading to find out more about this new world. The connection to Terrans is different than anything I have encountered before. Some political intrigue, fascinating old books, and an interesting romance, all add to the story of uncovering the secrets of this world’s past. At times humorous, adventurous, intriguing and romantic, it is full of well developed characters, and moves along at a good pace.

Beautiful! A Triumph! A Dream come true!
Collectanea; a flowing, intertwined story of love, trust, friendship, destiny, and intrigue. The characters come alive with the breath of their words, and the actions of their form. I was ensnared by a mystery, as I laughed, and cried; the characters and the story, transformed; twisting, turning flawlessly before my eyes. An easy, flowing, relaxing read for one such as I; Who has not cracked the spine of too many books. Am I left wanting, for part two? Yes!

Collectanea is a fast paced mystery sci-fi with a intriguing story behind it. It's easy to warm up to the characters without its being overly sentimental.
