‘Old Light’ is a prequel to the novella ‘On Winsley Hill’, but set within the same landscape at a slightly earlier date. It shows something of the origins of the very real and talismanic ‘Sun Disk’ that energised the worship of some many peoples in that area 4000 years ago.It’s a parallel love story set in parallel worlds, focussed upon a particular area of Somerset, in the West of England, in Neolithic and Victorian times – both of which are happening now. It’s also about the Spirit of the Land and the inner electricities that energise us all, whether we know it or not.
