Note: I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review.

Oh my god, I was so in love with these twoooo, eeeh! Yess, it's been a while since I've been excited over an MC romance, okay?

Wallace has an amazing way of writing, it flows smoothly and beautifully, giving me a chance to truly enjoy the setting of an MC romance, and enjoy the chemistry flaring between the characters themselves, while they tackle their own personal issues. The development of the characters is done well, where I can actually root for them to come out stronger and fight for each other, and also tackle important issues. It was a truly wonderful ride, and I already miss it lots.

This is my first Wallace novel, but I am definitely sure it won't be the last.

Until the next read,

I read so many MC books in the past that I kinda got burnt out and they started to feel the same. So I took a break and The Devil’s Weakness dropped into my lap.

Blade and Sasha.. two awesome characters yet so different. The chemistry between them is so hot. They are so wrong together yet so right at the same time.

A fantastic read that I can’t wait to read more of. I am delighted that I took a chance on this MC.

This author with her talented way of words has brought the love of MC reads back to me.. thank you.

OMG!! Love it!!

Well this book sure did it for me. Talk about sexy, alpha bikers who will stop at nothing to get what he wants Blade did that and so much more. Sasha is a woman who had lost so much in her life already and is also trying to deal with a drug addictive brother awhile trying to earn a living.

One day outside the back door of the diner she works at she overhead Blade and someone else talking about things that could be trouble for her. Blade had kept his eye in her for two years but now he was trying to get to her before his brothers could.

This was a new to me author who has caught me hook, line and sinker with the characters she writes about. If you like your MC books dark and dirty you don’t want to miss this one. This book left me with my mouth hanging open and the need for more from this author. I highly recommend this book!!

What an incredible read! I’m a huge lover of MC stories and this is definitely a must read! Blade and Sasha are such unreal characters who you can’t help but fall in love with. Sasha has had a hard life and doesn’t want any trouble. She’s a very strong woman who feels she doesn’t need a man in her life to control her. As for Blade, wow, total alpha, hot biker!! When he wants something, he goes after it, and that is Sasha. While these two don’t meet under the best of circumstances, you can feel the sparks between them! Their chemistry is so sizzling you will burn your fingers as you turn the pages.

Sasha has an incident happen that puts her in the sights of the MC and she is scared as to what will happen. She’s a very endearing character who you can’t help but love. Blade is a sexy biker who while he comes off as a tough guy, has a heart underneath all that leather. I really loved their interactions and could feel the tension, lust and love between them. While this does end on a cliffhanger, I can’t wait for the next book to see what happens between Blade and Sasha. Will they end up together? We can only wait and see!

I could not put this book down!!!! I truly can’t remember the last time I got through a book so fast!! The story is incredibly gripping, and the characters feel so genuine and real!!! With drug addiction, motorcycle accidents, a character hiding for her life, bitchy coworkers and dangerous MCs, every page is exciting! There is so much going on, yet it’s written in a way that’s super easy to read and not at all confusing!! The only bad thing about this book is that it ends with a cliffhanger. Because of my crappy memory, I wish I would have waited to read it until the duet was complete. However, I have a feeling this story will stay with me!!

I’m glad I stopped to read this story, even though MC romances are my usual go-to troupe. Sasha and Blade are oil and water not compatible until shaken together. And damn that man can sure shake Sasha to her core in all the right ways!!

Sasha Cooper fights day-in and day-out to merely stay afloat. Waitressing at a local diner while taking care of her older, drug addicted brother isn’t her idea of the perfect life. Keeping her head down while doing all she can to be a good sister comes crashing around her after a fateful hit-and-run.

Blade is the enforcer for the Devil’s Skull MC and it was his father who was left for dead on the side of the road. Bent on revenge he and his brothers seek out the culprit, hoping to exact their vengeance. Only problem is the person they identify is also the one woman Blade can’t forget.

Things started off tumultuous and escalated quickly. Then we saw Sasha and Blade give in to their hidden desires. That first claiming was animalistic and the epitome of pent up energy being released. But as more facts came to light, more time was shared, and more understanding was had, we got to see a cute couple. Tough and unyielding Blade seems to melt for Sasha. The man is insatiable and damn it leaves you reminiscent of new love. And right when you think things are perfect -WHAM- you’re hit with reality. Michael needs help, the girls at the diner are cattier than normal, an ex-boyfriend is showing unwarranted possession, and a rival MC is sniffing around.

I can’t wait for the next book. I have so many unanswered questions!!

The MMC was cringey to me. His inner dialogue had strong feminine vibes, and i can only assume the author has trouble with the male POV. The FMC POV wasn't that bad. The things he said out loud were sometimes corny as hell. He would say things in ways I've never heard a man talk. He literally said out loud, "My tongue longs for another taste." What kind of tough MC guy says that? LOL! I didn't like him. And it really bothered me that he didn't fix her door right away. Isn't that what prospects are for? Instead, he expects her to be home late at night with a busted door---a door he busted open, I might add. I don't think this author is for me. The plot was messy, and so many things made no sense. For example, if you're in an MC, you can't go to a hospital??? That was new to me. I liked the FMC in the beginning, but by the end, I wasn't a fan. She would go from hot to cold for no good reason. It was confusing as hell.

The Devil's Weakness by Murphy Wallace was exactly that kind of dark, gritty and volatile vibe that I expect from a MC romance. You will hate Blade and you will love Blade. He is one deliciously dirty and controlling man who takes you to the ecstatic side of hate. He chased and hunted Sasha because Devil's Skull MC thinks she has done something very wrong. By the time the confusion clears, Blade has claimed Sasha as his woman. Now Sasha may be in trouble as she trying to keep her fragile life together but she is still a fierce woman with morals and codes. And falling for Blade goes against all. But their chemistry is sizzling hot. So wrong, so dirty and yet so right. The action packed story line will keep you engaged till that major cliffhanger ending. Murphy Wallace did an excellent job of bringing violence and passion and emotions together.

I wanted to like this book more than I did. The writing style is nice, and I can see that over time the author will really shine - especially if she stays with the MC troupe. There were some scenes that were well written steam where you could practically feel the chemistry oozing from the pages between the leads. I could almost feel the depth of their feelings as the relationship between Blade and Sasha. In my opinion, though, there a quite a few areas for the author to work on in terms of the story and some of my personal preferences made it so I won’t be purchasing further books in the series (I may/might have felt differently I’d the books were still in Kindle Unlimited). I become annoyed when I’m reading a book and I’m more than halfway in and I cannot remember (or it hasn’t been adequately described) how characters look. All I knew were the colors of their eyes, and maybe that Blade and short cropped hair. I envision everything I’m reading and a lack of descriptions makes it harder for me.

I should preface this by saying that I like dark romances. Anti-heroes, bad boys, and morally grey characters are my favorite types of male leads. Another reason for why I adore reading MC books is because of the feeling of brotherhood and family that starts from oaths and commitments to people are aren’t necessarily blood related. While I do prefer darker and grittier reads - I still want that feeling of family and deep camaraderie between the brothers. That was really missing in this book. There were sentences where Blade made it sound like the brothers could turn on him, or other members, for slight infractions. Not only did these men not feel like family (or even friends) outside of Iron and Blade - they also weren’t that bright. They had no idea what happened to Iron on the road and instead of talking to Sasha, Stone just becomes violent and idiotic. No questions or talking, just unproductive violence. My favorite male leads are the anti hero’s and epic bad boys, but that doesn’t mean I want them to be completely morally bankrupt or spineless. The brothers made jokes about r@ping Sasha before Stone killed her (again before knowing anything about what actually occurred because no one even asked basic questions or investigated) and Blade, despite supposedly being obsessed with Sasha for two years, just sat back while Stone punched her in the face and dragged her around by her hair. Can you tell that this all annoyed me? There wasn’t much that the author could do to redeem these epically crappy men. This was such a disappointment.

The Devil’s Weakness is the first book in a duet for Blade and Sasha and the first in the Devils Skull MC Series by Murphy Wallace. The book was originally a novella, but was reworked to be longer and darker. It does end on a cliffhanger. Sasha is a girl just trying to get by. Working at a diner and trying to keep her older brother on the straight and narrow. Not an ideal set up, but her brother is all she has left and refuses to abandon him. A couple years back, she has the misfortune of seeing Blade, a member at a nearby MC, threatening a local police officer behind the diner and when spotted, is threatened not to ever speak of it again. After their midnight meetup, Blade just can’t seem to take his eyes off her, but manages to stay away. Until one of Blade’s MC brothers is found by the side of the road and its believed Sasha is the one that hit him and left him there. Blades going to have to track her down, bring her in, and dole out the punishment earned. He’s hoping it won’t be the ultimate punishment.

This was my first book by Murphy Wallace and it was a pretty decent read! The storyline was interesting, but it did lag in a couple of places. Not sure if during the rewrite, it juts got too much in certain spots and it made it feel like the flow was just off a bit. The characters were really well developed. You really felt for Sasha and her struggles. Struggles with work, not having a car that could run properly, and having a sibling that wasn’t willing to help himself. She has felt this pull toward Blade from the first moment she saw him, but figures she has enough difficulties in her life right now and is worried about the fallout of being involved with him. For his part, Blade is all in right from the start. He sees that she’s a survivor and admires her for that. He’s trying to figure out the best way to protect her, but also integrate her into the MC life I am interested in seeing where the story goes and who else will be getting books, so I’ll definitely be looking forward to the continuation of this duet and giving this author another go!

Story: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Trope: Kidnapping
Angst: 😰😰😰

It has been a while since I have read a MC and Murphy Wallace is a new author to me, so I wasn’t sure what to expect going into this… However, I was pleasantly surprised to find I really enjoyed it! I devoured the audiobook in less than a day!

Blade and Sadie couldn’t be more opposite, yet I feel that’s what makes them special. They are each other’s puzzle pieces. The chemistry between the two of them is undeniable and evident from the very beginning and the more they fight their feelings and the fact that they are so wrong and opposite from each other, makes them that much more perfect in my eyes. It left the future unpredictable and gave the story so much more depth and had me hanging on every word!

I’m so glad I took a chance on this! I’m excited to see what else this author has up her sleeve. If it’s anything like The Devil’s Weakness I need to read it!

This book was all-consuming, addictive, unpredictable, thrilling and such a page-turner. A must-read/listen!! Extremely well written!

5 STARS!

OK, Out of all the books I have read by this author, this one is definitely my favorite!
I just loved every single second of it from start to finish. I knew the moment I started this, within the second I read Sasha in the very beginning I would love her character and I DID. SO MUCH! And Blade, he was just everything perfectly matched with her. I loved his POV, the whole MC feel from his perspective just seemed so real and everything flowed so effortlessly and nothing felt forced. The insane attraction and chemistry was just... GOSH I CANT WAIT FOR MORE!! And the drama, it had me feeling like I was going to have some major anxiety LOL(that was just the first 10% with the drama and anxiety!!) Don't even get me started on the S E X. The way they first had sex ALMOST made me want to go inside the box and slap Blade upside the head but he remedied himself a time (or two). I LOVED Blade's possessiveness and how he always watched her and I loved Sasha's spirit and fight! I just need MORE especially after that cliff!

The Devil's Weakness takes you on a wild and crazy ride that is filled with super-hot pleasurable moments. When the hunter catches his prey, there's nowhere to go, and justice must be served for crossing this gang.

Blade and Sasha's story is dangerous and so intense that I started and finished this book in one sitting. I enjoyed every single minute I spent reading. The Devil's Skull MC is an intriguing bunch and I'm inclined to know more about their rival gang as well. I suggest picking up the audiobook too because Angelina Rocca and Tyler Darby hit the nail on the head with their performance. As a first-time listener of their work, I had no trouble envisioning this great story. I couldn't imagine anyone else bringing Sasha and Blade to life. That cliffhanger was brutal and now I'm dying to know what happens next in The Devil's Redemption.

Sasha is a down on her luck girl that seems to be in the wrong place at the wrong time, putting her in the crosshairs of the MC. Blade is the one the MC sends to find her and while this tough enforcer has no qualms about doing what must be done in the name of his brothers and club, sparks fly between him and Sasha when he catches up to her. I loved their interactions with each other and how they were both caught off guard by the combustible chemistry they shared. Their story will take the reader on an intense, heart-stopping ride filled with impressive twists and shocking turns. I can see this easily being expanded into a full length novel and maybe even a new series in the future.

I gave 2 stars because I like the plot. But, the lead female character, I couldn't stand her. She was an enabler to her brothers drug addiction and I found her weak. And, the male lead was an idiot. And, I really, really, really do not books in parts. I won the ebook on Goodreads, Thank You. But if you want me too, I would happy give it back. I was disappointed at the end, wait there was no end. Maybe, I would have brought the second book if I liked the characters. Stating my opinion, meant no harm to anyone that may like this ebook.

The Devil's Weakness
A Dark, Motorcycle Outlaw, Romantic Suspense: Blade and Sasha, Book 1 (The Devil's Skull MC)
By: Murphy Wallace
Narrated by: Angelina Rocca, Tyler Darby

This is a great start to the Devil’s Skull MC series, a romantic suspense that brings to the edge of your seat and an ending that leaves needing to know what happens next. Sasha has not had the easiest of lives, working to keep a roof over her head and taking care of her loser brother, who is mixed up with the wrong people and addicted to drugs. On her way to pick him up she clips someone riding a motorcycle, that someone is wearing the kutte of the local MC, the Devil’s Skull, she is fearful of them and freaks out, she anonymously calls 911 for help, leaves the scene, and then packs up and leaves her home. The members of the MC get the call that their VP, Iron, is down and was left in a ditch on the side of the road and they vow to get the person responsible. Blade has had a thing for Sasha from the moment he looked in to her eyes after she stumbled on something she was not supposed. Nothing happened then, but he watched her from a distance and when it was her name that pops up as the person who called 911, he knew he was the one who would have to get her. She may have been on the run, but it did not take him long to track her down. His feelings for her are as strong as ever, but she hurt the one person who meant so much to him, the one who looked out for him when no one else did. He can also see how hard of a life she has had, and can relate as if they were kindred spirits, maybe even soulmates. There is never a dull moment in this book, the story is fast-paced with plenty of drama, angst, some twists and turns, thrilling suspense, heartfelt emotions and steamy romance.

🎧📚🎧 And for the fantastic narration, Angelina Rocca and Tyler Darby did an amazing job bringing these characters to life and did so with a complete understanding of who they were portraying, giving each a voice that fit that characters persona sounding believable in every role they played. Rocca nailed it as Sasha, grasped her every emotion and had you feeling every single one. Darby played Blade as the perfect bad boy biker that he was. Both were great performing the roles of the secondary characters too. These versatile voice artists are entertaining storyteller and a pleasure to listen to.

Let me start with saying that I have not read many MC romances. The prime reason being the books mentioning too much MC business which while I may like it for mafia romances but not that much for MCs.

But this book ruined my earlier mindset about MCs. And I am delighted to say that I am going to take big leaps in MC worlds again. All thanks to Murphy Wallace for making me rethink my decision to read MC books. I will be honest when I say I was wary at first....but now not at all!🤣🤣

So about this mindblowing book. The storyplot is crafted in a way which makes it an unputdownable book. The Devil's Skull MC world is created in a very unique way which makes it different from other MCs. Their way of conducting business and balancing it with violence was engaging which made me going.

With the story....I should first of all say Murphy has done a fabulous job of creating these enthralling characters. The way these characters have embedded in this intricate tale of their twisted love is so beautiful. Sasha is our heroine who is a waitress and stumbles upon something forbidden, and meets our hero, Blade of the Devil's Skull MC. Afraid, she runs away but tragedy strikes again and Blade now is again after her. The story ends in a very nail-biting cliffhanger.
The enthralling part of why this book captured so much of my attention is their romance. Cliche I know considering I picked this book knowing it was a romance. But that is not why I said it. Balde and Sasha when coming together it means total annihilation and their sex scenes are too steamy...makes you crave for an alpha MC hero who is unhinged and dominant and rough and does not take no for an answer. You will know more when you read this panty-dropping book.🤣🤣🤣

If you crave alphas who are protective and possessive about their heroines, heroines who may appear demure but sassy in reality, steamy hot sex, and swoonworthy romance, intricate MC world and its twisted lies.....this book is what you need. Also there is a CLIFFHANGER. And assault trigger too.
A sure 4.5 star read.

Sasha has always been the one to pickup the pieces of her brother’s self-destruction as she struggles to hold herself and life together. One night her brother calls in need of her help, but some things happen, and Sasha is so afraid for her life that she runs knowing she can’t stay on the run but not wanting to stick around to see what will happen to her. Blade has had his eyes set on Sasha for years now, but he knows he is probably not good enough for her that doesn’t stop him from wanting her in his life though. When things come to light and Sasha is at the epicenter of this cluster of events, Blade knows he will have a choice to make eventually when it come to her and his club. Can he make the impossible decisions that he will ultimately be forced to make? How will things play out when Sasha’s life is endangered? Blade is a total alpha male that knows what he wants and isn’t afraid to take it, yet at times he is a gentle giant that doesn’t like to see her suffer. Sasha just wants to escape her mundane life, live a little, explore, but she never intended in making the enemies she has, nor does she expect to become Blade’s and at times she seemed weak with touches of a fire inside her. Can these two sort out things between them or is there just too much tension and anger brewing for them to be together? This does end on a cliffhanger, but the second book isn’t too far away and I can’t wait to see how things play out for these two and what is to come.

"I'm more of a nightmare than a fantasy, little girl."
"No matter how our paths came to cross, what's done is done. I've marked Sasha as my own, and there isn't anything that can change that now."

I received an Advanced Reader Copy for an honest and voluntary review

WOW!! This is an amazing start to Blade and Sasha’s story ♥️ I had such a hard time putting this page turner down!! I really love these two characters!!
Blade is the ultimate alpha biker 🖤 I love the way he develops feelings for Sasha. He was so torn between his feelings for her and his loyalty to the club. After his MC finds out Sasha was behind the car accident that killed one of his brothers, he’s sent to bring her back home. For two years he has watched her. He knows his duty is to bring her back to his club, but his feelings for Sasha cause him to hesitate. He knows bringing her back would be dangerous!! I love how his character had many sides, and wasn’t just your standard biker. He was humanized and had conflicting emotions
Sasha’s story broke my heart 💔 She was always in trouble, having to claw her way out. Her Mom left, her Dad passed away, she is left to care for her drug addicted older brother. She’s a waitress, and the only one with a job, struggling to keep a roof over her and her brother’s head. Then, she ends up on the Devils Skulls MC’s radar, due to an accident, and has to go on the run. She just can’t win!! Sasha is tough and vulnerable at the same time. She has to stay strong, because there is no one else but her, but she so desperately needs a shoulder to break on. Blade desperately wants her to be his, but she fights him every step of the way!!
This story is a testament as to how much of an amazing writer Murphy Wallace is ♥️ I really enjoyed this story, and can’t wait for more Blade and Sasha 💙
I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS BOOK ❤️‍🔥

The Devil's Weakness is a gritty and suspenseful MC Romance with dark elements. It's a pretty solid MC story and a terrific start to the series. With new authors, there is definitely a chance of a miss; you never know what you're going to get. But I really enjoyed this one. I thought Murphy Wallace successfully captured the shadier and yet more authentic side of the MC culture. The cast's characterization varied and was excellent, lending credence to the originality and realism of the characters. The pacing was perfect; I got swept away into a world filled with roughness, violence, loyalty, vengeance, danger, unpredictability, romance, and passion.

Blade and Sasha are from two very different worlds and share complicated pasts. Blade found a home, protection, and acceptance with the Devil's Skull MC and embraced a life of an outlaw. Sasha endured life's struggles alone while weathering the supervision of a drug-addict brother. She is restricted by society's norms, cares too much about others' opinions, and doesn't allow herself freedom. The steamy scenes were rather spicey. Blade and Sasha's connection is deep and vibrant, and the chemistry is electrifying. It ended with a cliffhanger, a completely unexpected twist. I can't wait to find out what happens next.

Outstanding narration by Angelina Rocca and Tyler Darby. Their performance embodies the characters' personalities and emotions, portraying their connection and desire, literally breathing life into them. They made the story even more engaging and enjoyable. The Devil's Weakness, the first instalment of Blade and Sasha's story, was a fantastic listen and one I strongly recommend.

This was a nice, sweet but scary, and straight to the point read.

Okay, it wasn't too scary but, what biker club isn't really scary? The men of Devil's Skull were not to be messed with. Sasha knew that and yet, she was pretty sure if they found out she was involved in what went down, her a$$ was going to be grass and they were going to be the lawnmower. So what did she do, she ran.

Blade was in the very gang that Sasha was trying to run from. His looks were very intimidating and you knew he meant business. But Sasha tried to put on her big girl panties and face them like the woman she was, when they caught up with her that is

She really did try and do the right thing, but being that they belonged to that club, she did the only thing she thought was right. Will she stand a chance against them all or will she meet her demise for one mistake.

This book was pretty hot if you ask me. I'm patiently waiting for more. I loved how everything transpired and the truth was really set free in the end. It really is hard for a man to tell a woman he is sorry. That apology hit different when she didn't respond to it!

I love reading books that don't beat around the bush but get straight to the point. With this book, I was never left in the dark, I tired to predict what would happen (and failed miserably mind you), the sex was not over the top but definitely hot AF, and the end had me wanting more. Great read!

This isn't my first book by Murphy Wallace and it damn sure won't be my last!

This fucking book!!

Let me start off with staying I really love Blade. He is devoted to his club 100%. After the life he lived the club rescued him. So not only does he love his found family but he feels he owes them.
He is very in touch with his emotions with a tendency to let his mouth run away from him. Normally we see Club members who are “too tough” to feel things and I guess technically Blade had that moment just during the 2 years we didn’t get. So we just get to see him embracing his feelings.

Stone! Ughh I feel like I want to love him. I like the assholes😂 and he’s an asshole but I get why.

Sasha…babe…
I had a love hate relationship with her. I would fold like a house of cards when given the opportunity to have a man like Blade so when she fights it I want to smack her😂😂 but again it fit her. She has been taking care of herself for far to long and having a man show up and try to take over…NOPE. She is back and forth with wanting Blade but needed to figure out her own feelings and Blade is a pushy MF😂

The chemistry was definitely there between them. The sex was 🥵

The plot was interesting. I didn’t see the twist coming.

I will say there was a space in the middle where things started to drag with the back and forth but I still enjoyed the book. Definitely going to see how their story ends in book 2. I will also say if you read a lot of dark romance this didn’t have a very dark feel to me. But it definitely has some triggers.

Let me start by saying that I'm not a massive fan of MC’s books… There are countless of them I've started and dnf… On one hand fingers I can count those I've finished and enjoyed… It has ‘that’ factor, that sth to hook me in, interest me enough to read it… And Murphy Wallace with Devil’s Weakness just gave it to me like on the silver plate. I was captivated from the very beginning and devoured the book within a few hours.
Devil’s Weakness is a book one in The Devil’s Skulls MC Series and follows the story of Blade and Sasha. It’s sexy, steamy and unrestrained, passionate and raw. Full of devotion and faithfulness (-> Blade), but as well with plenty of insecurities to overcome, uneasiness of emotions and how to get to terms with them (-> Sasha). Both living in two completely different worlds and trying to get around and find the perfect compromise/solution for them. And let's just say, it’s not easy for them.
I loved sarcasm, witty returns, and general interaction between them two. Sasha’s independence, fearlessness and standing her grounds. Blade it’s not such a scary one for the biker, especially when it’s about his Little Girl...
Devil’s Weakness ends with a massive cliffhanger and honestly I can’t wait for the sequel to be released, and lost myself in what Murphy Wallace prepared for us.

The Devil's Weakness
The Devil's Skull MC Book 1
By: Murphy Wallace
Narrated by: Angelina Rocca, Tyler Darby

There are times fate steps in. And despite the unfortunate circumstances that brought them together, Sasha and Blade find themselves bring pulled together. Was it the overheard conversation from two years ago that originally provoked Blades interest in her? Was it his father's accident? No matter the reason, Murphy Wallace wrapped me up in a suspenseful motorcycle club romance, laced with darkness and even a little obsession. The push pull of their relationship and Blade's alpha protectiveness built to some steamy passion, but didn't stop Sasha's independent streak. Add in the Michael, Sasha's brother and his problems, and we have some unforeseen twists and turn that kept the suspense building. This ends on a cliffhanger, so now I need the next book to see where the story is going to go!

Storytellers Angelina Rocca and Tyler Darby bring this story alive. Interesting characters need great narrators and these two bring it! Rocca brings the fear, lust and love alive with her fabulous portrayal of Sasha. She creates her exactly as I imagine. Darby always understands his characters and as Blade he has a dark, dangerous, vibe that is perfect for him. The two created this suspenseful romance together and I can't wait to hear more.

I was recently introduced to Murphy Wallace books, so I wasn't sure what I was getting into. The book has been advertised as a dark MC novel, so instantly my ears perked up. Yes, please! There are dark elements to the story in the beginning. Once resolved, the story takes on a lighter tone with funny banter. I like the quick wit from the characters and the even better snappy comebacks. This isn't just a one-trick emotional ride. Besides being funny, it's sexy without trying too hard. There's unnecessary drama, which is the best kind, and it's only going to lead into a whopper for book 2. The closer you'll get to finishing the more your heart will race. I kept checking my progress at 90 percent looking for any signs of what the cliff hanger might have be. You can definitely tell what's the next problem these two are going to have to face - together.

Responsible Sasha is living day by day. Her life is routine: work, go home, bail her brother out, rinse and repeat. She yearns for adventure and freedom but instead runs right into the Devil. I wouldn't necessarily call her a strong heroine. She's flawed in a way that you can sympathize with. It comes from being too strong all the time. It's a situation that Blade recognizes all too well and wants to alleviate.

The Devil’s Weakness: Blade and Sasha-Book 1 is the first installment of Murphy Wallace’s The Devil’s MC series. For two years, Blade has watched Sasha and longed for her from a distance….their attraction is off the charts but they have nothing in common….a biker and a struggling waitress. Blade is even more torn when it appears that Sasha caused an accident that gravely injured one of his brothers. Blade is conflicted….who does he support….the woman he cares about or the only family he knows? For Sasha, who has lost her father and takes care of her addicted older brother, this occurrence is just one more in the string of endless misfortunes. The reader can feel her angst but also her strength as she grapples with this unexpected situation. This story is extraordinary, filled with well rounded characters, intense scenes and emotionally raw dialogue. Grave danger is lurking and Blade and his fellow brothers have to unravel all the pieces of the twisted alliances. I cannot say enough how good this book is. Once I started, I read through the night. Sasha and Blade are now one of my favorite couples. The book ends on a heart-stopping cliffhanger and I am so looking forward to the next book in the series.
