Fosca (I Classici GUM)

Rate this book

It’s a short book, written by an Italian author that isn’t that well known. It’s a story written in the form of a diary, it talks about this man torn apart by two different women that give him two different kinds of affection: one is Clara, a sweet but married woman, while the other is Fosca, a sick widow.

I really enjoyed this book, as it’s not too difficult to understand and the story is fascinating. Even though it’s not one of the most popular novels in Italian literature, I really recommend it.
