4.5 - I really really enjoyed this book! It was honest and real about the importance of reading the Bible and it being a part of your life, but still kind in the approach. Enjoyed the writing style a lot!!

SEEK HIM FIRST is a wonderful book for every Christian to read. Jennifer's heart for the Lord and her desire to see others grow in their faith oozes out of each page. Throughout the book, I was encouraged, motivated and excited to dig deeper in my quiet times, remembering the importance of seeking Him first and above all.
Jennifer uses real life stories, heart to heart talk and lots of Scripture verses to convey her message. I loved how she asked questions at the end of each chapter to get me thinking and focused on how to grow. Some of the topics she covers are how to hear from God, planning for your devotional time, recognizing His voice, feeding your spirit, winning spiritual battles, making a difference and much more!!
SEEK HIM FIRST is an easy and enjoyable read. I look forward to reading more of Jennifer's books!

I love the honest and genuine approach Jennifer uses to inspire others to grow deeper in their spiritual walk. She gives great tips and pointers that anyone can use to get started (or to advance) in their daily quiet time with God. I found the Bible study methods very interesting and helpful, as well. This is a fantastic book that is easy to read and will make a huge impact on my own personal walk.

Really really cool book, highly recommend. This might very well be the fastest book I’ve ever read, and that’s because it’s engaging, simple to understand, and extremely practical to self-apply. Also, Jehoshaphat is a really cool dude, I want to worship like that. (1 Kings 22 + 2 Chronicles 17-20)

I highly recommend this both for new believers and for those who have been Christians for many years. It really reminded me to make sure I’m prioritizing my daily time with God over anything else I have going on. I loved the reminder to spend time with God in different ways…Bible reading, devotionals, worship music etc. I also really enjoyed the reminder to be disciples for Jesus and to share what He has done for me with others. Overall, this is a very quick read that will offer a lot of great insight into what our lives should look like as Christians.

This book is essential reading for any Christian woman. In it, the author lays a solid, Biblical foundation for how to pursue a full and satisfying life in Christ. I was inspired by the encouraging teaching I found in this book. (Chapter 2 was especially helpful and meaningful to me, and will be to anyone who struggles to find time to devote to the development of their spiritual life.) There is much practical wisdom and guidance to be gleaned in these pages.
In closing , I’d like to share a quote from the book which I found particularly encouraging: “You don’t have to be a pastor, missionary, or evangelist. You don’t have to have a huge ministry or be on a stage, a book cover, or a record label. You don’t have to get the most likes, shares, or comments. You just need a Jesus story."

Inspired me to seek God more on a daily basis. Jennifer has done an awesome job in showing us how to Seek Him first so that we can walk in His will by hearing from God in taking time to be still. She has shared tips on how to get started with a daily time with God, whether you are a new Christian or been a Christian for a long time and have gotten slack on your time with God. She has laid it out simple to get started. This book has inspired me to make and to take more time with God. Thanking God for giving Jennifer the gift to write and to care about others by sharing with us how to grow closer to God.

False teaching
It was good until the end. No where in the Bible does it say all you have to do is say a prayer, and you will be saved. I challenge you to find it. Baptism is essential for salvation. Jesus commanded it.
Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything
Galatians 4:27 For those who have been baptized into Christ have been clothed with Christ.
Peter also recorded that baptism is essential to salvation when he wrote these words, ". . . when the longsuffering of God waited in the days of Noah, while the ark was a preparing, wherein few, that is, eight souls were saved by water.
The like figure whereunto even baptism doth also now save us . . ." (1 Pet. 3:20-21). Just as Noah was saved by water, we are saved by baptism.
Peter replied, “Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. And you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.” Acts 2:38

i love & enjoy finding resources to add to my daily life, to improve, encourage and motivate you throughout you life and more stressful time ...etc. ... found this as a kindle copy ... "prime reading" through Amazon ...but guess what ... Jennifer's links do not work ...so you click on them (when you have your internet service working through your kindle) and they get to the website she does provide but guess what ...they don't work. i understand that so many folks wish for "patreon" (or other similar website to help them making a living or whatnot, so instead of giving scripture or other items to help your reader, your fellow Christian to get where you should be leading them to?? shocker.) but these links don't go where she says they will be going in the book??! POINTLESS no? i think so. what is the point? why??! dumb. that is what it is. so for that reasoning there is a downfall in stars ...if you are have resources you need them to work for the reader ... sad. it does look like an encouraging book but it fall through with what it does promise. big sad face.

Amazing
This was am Samsung go. So I was busy doing laundry but need to spend time studying something to help my spiritual growth. Going gift my books I realized I had started this book. Go my amazement it had a listen feature. So listen I did. The book was so wonderful I finished it and everything else I need go complete. I leather winner valuable applications to apply in my daily life. Some thing to add to my daily activities and some new ways of looking at situations. This was a great book.

This book completely transformed my perspective about my quiet time!
Often I find Non-fiction books hard to read, but I absolutely blew through this book. I felt like I was highlighting every other sentence because its just that good.
If you find yourself stuck in excuses about why you don't have time to read the Bible or spend time with God daily, this book is a great read. Or if you're looking for some additional guidance on how to start or structure your quiet time this book is for you!

Great Reminders...
Sometimes in our daily lives it is easy to lose sight of things we were taught, but this book has rekindled a flame that has recently started thriving again. Being reminded to take daily time with our Heavenly Father is something every believer can benefit from.
I am not sure a non-believer could make it through this book, but I feel like someone who is on the edge of their spiritual growth could benefit from these reminders.
Overall a smooth read and will probably seek out this author foe her other works.

Whether you’re a new believer or Seasoned Christian looking for something more out of your Christian life I highly recommend this book. I’ve been searching for a long time for answers and guidance but was afraid of looking foolish . This is exactly what I’ve been searching for. It helps you establish the relationship with God that he wants us to have . It has strengthened my devotion time and has reaffirmed the peace that I now have. In my opinion this is the best Christian book out there. It’s definitely a great book to read for new believers.

Wow! An amazing book
This book has really challenged me to find time to read my Bible and spend more time studying it. Not an easy task when you have a young child, but not impossible. It has also encouraged me to think carefully about what my personal gifts and talents are and how best to utilise these if I'm not already. I would wholeheartedly recommend this book to everyone. I have been truly blessed by reading it and will be even more so by putting the strategies into practise.

I enjoyed reading the book
I think its worth it. Yes, more could have been said and added especially more guidance on ways to seek the Lord, like a step by step, or more sharing of how the author on her day to day how she seeks the Lord and how the Lord responded. But overall it was worth my time and reading and i would highly suggest it to Christians especially christian womens

Great companion book to jumpstart your relationship with Christ, or if you're already there, a great reminder to how and why. the way Jennifer writes is so effortlessly, you can feel her passion for "making disciple making disciples." A e Good Reference To Start To Follow Jesus
I made reading this book to start my morning devotion time. Through this book it gave me insight as to how and why I need to spend personal time with the Lord. The tools given to help with this journey were very helpful and I will continue to read Jennifer’s books.

Great insights I could not stop reading!
I very much enjoyed this book. Stylistically, I reallyvlijednthebpractical application at the end of each chapter that let you sink your teeth into the chapter further. I felt as if this was speaking from personal experience that spoke to me, personally.

I absolutely LOVED this book. It was such a good read. It was simple, easy to understand read that you could apply to your own life. It had ton of scripture in it. I loved the questions at the end of each chapter to challenge the reader on what they just read and how to apply it to their own life. I would definitely read another book from this author.

This is a short book that guides the reader to keep God as a focus for daily living.
The book is practical, easy to read and the author uses many biblical references to back up her ideas.

AMAZING!!
I truly believe God led me to this book!
The very first chapter had me setting aside time every morning to talk to my Father. I have grown so much closer to Him by using the tips in this book, and I’m excited to continue seeking Him first everyday for the rest of my life!

Excellent read with great inspirational knowledge about seeking Christ. This is an easy read with sound Biblical examples.
