A Hero for Songbird
One of the things I love about Violet Rae's books is that she often includes at least one character with an ailment or disability that requires consideration. With Harmony, it's a nearly paralyzing case of anxiety. It's not sugar-coated and can get a little dicey.
I love that Mack recognizes when she's in trouble and does what he can to relax and protect her without inhibiting her ability to grow and heal. It's sweet. 😍
As for Harmony and Mack as a duet, they have wonderful chemistry that leaps out and begs to be explored. Again and again and.... 🔥💣💥🔥

Mack is a famous boyband star turned solo singer. His inspiration for singing has dried up and he's feeling overwhelmed with his job. His record label decides in order for him to keep his contract, he needs to produce three songs with another singer. Mack is resistant until he hears her voice.

Harmony has overwhelming anxiety, but she's still shooting for her dreams. When they meet, they're both instantly attracted to the other. Harmony helps him get his inspiration back, and Mack helps her overcome her anxiety.

This was a really sweet romance. I like the way anxiety was portrayed- it's not something that can be magically fixed like I've seen in other romance novels. This was more realistic and I appreciate that. Five stars!

A quick afternoon read about 100 pages. Mack is a former boy band member turned solo artist. His current songs do not have the same appeal, and his label wants to try duets for his new album. He is not sure of this idea until he hears one of the candidates singing his song.
Harmony is an internet artist, and Mack’s manager has found her. With his newfound love of music and a muse, he is back on his way. Harmony is the perfect fit with Mack, but can he help her overcome her panic attacks?

I thought that this was a great book. I loved Mack and Harmony together with their instant and intense connection and chemistry. Both Harmony and Mack have their own issues together these two can through anything. I really enjoyed this book with its little bit of drama and a wonderfully sweet HEA.

WOW absolutely love this one!! I couldn't put this one down. This was a nice quick, short read.
Mack meets Harmony when she comes to New York. Mack's record company and manager agree that he meets a partner to have a duet album. His manager has a list of people and when Mack hears then he doesn't connect with any. When he goes to leave his manager plays one last person for him. Mack instantly know without seeing her she is the one. His manager tells him she'll be in New York in a few minutes, and he's picking her up, Mack won't allow that. Mack goes and picks up Harmony, when she gets off the airplane she's looking for Mack's manger, but doesn't spot him, she gets pushed around. When Mack sees all the color drain from her face and she looses her balance he rushes for her. Mack grabs Harmony and pulls her to him, she buries herself in him, he feels safe. When she looks at him she realizes he's Mack Solomon she's followed his career and has a crush on him. They introduce themselves and then Mack tells her he's picking her up not his manager. Soon Mack is recognized and he is rushed by fans, he grabs Harmony and rushes her to his waiting car. They talk on the drive to Mack's home in the Catskills, soon Harmony is asleep. Mack wakes her and they head inside, he starts to show her around, then they begin kissing. Soon Mack's sister Jess is calling his name. Jess takes Harmony and shows her around. When they are done, they head to the living room where Mack has his guitar out and is playing. Jess encourages Harmony to join him on the piano, they get lost in the song and when it's over Jess gives them a loud applause. Three days later, they've done several sessions in the recording studio. They are headed into the city, for a public release announcement. Jess is Mack's PA so she briefs Harmony in on the questions that will be asked. After an hours of questions they call it quits, they call their driver to take them home. When they walk out the back door they are mobbed with fans. Mack tells his sister to grab Harmony and get in the waiting car, he leads his fans away when he sees her huddled in the corner. Jess puts her in the back while she climbs in the front, when he sees them in the car he hurries to climb in. Mack gets in the back and pulls Harmony into his lap. He rubs her back as he tells her to breathe and to take deep breaths. When her breathing is back to normal he asks her if she wants to talk about it. Harmony tells Mack that she goes to therapy and they think it's from the car accident that killed her parents. She was in the car with them in the back, she has fuzzy memories of it. She can still hear screaming and crunching metal, and fire. Although she doesn't remember much it's locked deep in her brain. She tells Mack she thought it was under control but now that he's seen the worst of her, he won't want her as his partner. Mack tells her that a lot of people get stage fright, he wants to help her, he still wants her as his partner, not just for singing. Harmony asks him what other kind of partner does he want her, Mack tells her he wants to make her his, in all ways possible. Mack begins to kiss Harmony, but then he stops he tells her he doesn't want their first time to be in the back of the limo. She tells him this is moving to fast and he tells her not fast enough. He wants her to be his home, he doesn't want to be away from her. Harmony tells him she's scarred so Mack tells her she can set the pace. When Harmony calls her best friend Elli, Mountain Maid to tells her she is coming home. Elli tells her she's not, she can make it big in New York. Harmony tells Elli she is afraid she falling in love with Mack and doesn't know what to do. Elli tells her to go talk to Mack, so when she finish with the call she goes to find Mack. The house is quiet when she enters, so she head to his office, the door is ajar and she hears his voice with his sister. Mack and Jess are talking about someone that his manager set him up with that has metal health issues and they want to cut ties with her. Harmony thinks they are talking about her, when she turns to leave she has a panic attack. Mack and Jess both hear her, they find her on her hands and knees. Mack bends and picks her up and takes her back to his guest house. He sits with her talking to her to calm her down. When her breathing is back to normal he tells his sister he'll keep an eye on her. Harmony ask him what he's doing, and Mack tells her he wants to take care of her. Harmony tells him she heard what they said about her, that she's delusional and she doesn't stand a chance in the music industry. Mack tells her they weren't talking about her, his manager sent him another woman but he doesn't want to work with her he wants to work with Harmony. Harmony tells him she was headed to tell him something, he asks her what she wanted to tell him. Harmony tells him that she's falling in love with him and wants to give them a chance. Mack asks her what about the getting married and having kids together part, she tells him maybe. When they start kissing she tells him she's never been with a man before. He tells her he not good enough for her. Mack tells her they don't have to do anything tonight, she tells him she wants him. Mack tells her he wants her with him all the time, never to leave his side. Mack tells her he loves her then she tells him she loves him too. Mack strips her of her clothes then he takes his off, climbing in bed next to her. Mack asks her if she'll marry him and she says yes. Eighteen months later, they head to the stadium one last concert then they're off for a few months. Harmony tells him she has a surprise for him. Mack always goes on stage first and plays a few songs then he introduces his wife, Harmony to come out with him. It's how she can control her anxiety. They fired their manager and hired a new manager one that fit more in what they wanted. When they get back to the hotel both naked, lying in bed. Harmony asks him if he wants his surprise now. She takes his hand and lays it on her stomach, Mack asks her if she's pregnant and she tells him yes. Because of Mack Harmony's learned to accept her limitations, and celebrate her successes. Her anxiety is always there in the background, but with Mack there she can face it. Harmony is Mack's songbird and he's her hero.

For me, this book lacked substance. I enjoyed this fast paced fun read. Mack is a former boy band member who has transitioned from a member of the band to a solo artist. He is in a funk now. Having trouble coming up with new songs. His manager has informed him that the record label wants him to have a singing partner on three of his songs for the new album. Harmony is a woman who finds singing comforting to her, even if she does it solo and posts it on a web channel. She has a hard time dealing with crowds because of the accident she was in as a child. Mack sees her recording on the internet and knows she is perfect not only as a singing partner but for him personally. This was a wonderful story. I like how Mack was kind and understanding of Harmony's anxiety and how he helped her deal with it. The chemistry between them is great. Wonderful HEA.

This book is a part of the Rock My World series and focuses on Mack and Harmony. Mack is a famous rockstar that has lost his passion with music and is feeling completely burned out. When his record label forces him to go from a completely solo artist to a duet artist, he is blindsided. His manager arranged for Harmony to come to New York to record with Mack, his life changed in an instant. He found his passion and happiness again as soon as he saw her for the first time. Harmony deals with crippling anxiety but is so strong and brave for going after what she wants and tackling her anxiety while not letting it determine her life. Mack and Harmony were absolutely perfect together! This was an excellent story and a great addition to the series.

Após ler o terceiro livro da série, Fiquei encantada com o Mack e a Harmony, e resolvi ler o livro deles - que é o segundo - na sequência (sim, eu comecei pelo último e tô lendo a série de trás pra frente). E essa foi mais uma história que me conquistou. Mack teve um passado conturbado, mas havia se reerguido e se transformado num homem muito melhor, contudo ultimamente perdera a inspiração para compor suas músicas. Harmony sofreu um trauma no passado que a deixou com graves crises de ansiedade, e a música a ajudava a manter os pés firmes no chão. Juntos, eles encontraram uma parceria que foi além de letras, acordes e canções, e foi maravilhoso poder acompanhar esse amor arrebatador que os envolveu. Eu gostei demais e é claro que eu recomendo!

Violet Rae joins the awesome Rock My World multi-author series with Perfect Harmony. Mack and Harmony's love story is a wonderfully engaging steamy age-gap instalove romance. Mack is swoon-worthy as the former boy bander-turned-solo artist who is forced by his record label to collaborate with a female singer on his new album. Harmony is instantly loveable the gorgeous, young, anxiety-ridden woman who Mack's manager hand-picks to be his duet partner after viewing her viral videos. The chemistry between them is explosive and together they make beautiful music together. A fantastic must-read!

Mack and Harmony are great together, wonderful chemistry and a great short story. Mack at one time was in a boy band but has been recording singly for years. His manager has decided he needs to record a duet and once Mack sees Harmony he knows she is the one for him. But Harmony has some anxiety issues and is not sure she can sing in front of others. But Mack wants Harmony for forever. Can Mack help her through her issues so he can have her for himself. Wonderful little love story, short and steamy with a great HEA. Enjoyable read.

Mack is a musician that has lost his inspiration for his music. So, he is told to bring in someone else to sing with. He isn't happy about it and then he hears Harmony and knows that she is what he needs. Harmony has issues of her own but when she is next to him everything goes away. Will they be what they other needs? Will this become something more between them?
This is a great story that will hook you in from the first chapter on. This is a well written and very entertaining story. It's any book lover would enjoy.

Mack (H) is being pressured by his record company to add some duets to his next album and reisst until he hears Harmony (h) singing ones of his songs. The two are instantly attracted to one another and as they get to know one another things heat up. Mack and Harmony are just what one another needs - he needs someone to help him rediscover his love of music and she needs someone to help her overcome her panic attacks. Sweet age gap instalove rock star romance.

Mack is a former boy band star and now a solo artist. But his label thinks he needs a duet partner and hires Harmony a girl from a small town in Virginia. As soon as he hears her voice and sees her sparks fly. They fall hard and fast for each other and together they get their huge success. I loved the story and how sweet and caring Mack was because of her anxiety. 🥰🥰🥰 instalove, sweet, steamy, romantic, fun to read, age gap with a sweet HEA and no drama😍😍😍😍😍

I received an ARC from the author and am voluntarily leaving my review. Mack has hit a rough patch in his career. Harmony comes along and puts the music back into his soul. These two have chemistry that works for their singing and their personal lives. They support each other in ways they didn't expect. I really enjoyed their love story. It was sweet but steamy with a little drama.

very well done
This book was so well done. I love when an author uses a real world issue within the story while not having the perfect character. The h has severe anxiety and the author does not gloss over it but tackles it head on. Loved Mack as the lead. I like seeing Ellie again as I read her story first in that series. I have Jessica’s story in my library now so can’t wait to read it.

I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review. Harmony suffers from panic attacks but Mack helps her deal with them. Mack started falling for Harmony when he saw on the video and meeting her in person only cements this with Harmony falling just as hard. I liked how his solo act becomes a duet in more than just on stage.

This was a sweet instalove rockstar romance. I liked the story, it was sweet and had a bit of steam. I liked how it also touched some heavier subjects like anxiety and mental health. Harmony and Mack had an instant connection and I liked the flow of their story.

A terrific story and a great job handling Harmony's anxiety. So often that isn't written well and the author did a fantastic job of explaining it and working it into the storyline in a way that was natural. Great chemistry between the characters and plenty of steam. Wonderful book!!.

Awwwww this book was absolutely amazing!!!! Mack and Harmony are so adorable!!!! Seeing authors write about real life issues helps people like me realize that one day that special someone will find me even though I have this, that, or the other!!!! I appreciate the depths you go to, to get people to realize they deserve live too!!!!

Absolutely loved the newest book in the Rock My World series. Violet is one of my favorite authors and she always gives us the greatest characters and stories. Mack and Harmony make beautiful music and I adore their story.

Stepping Up
I LOVED this book. 😍😍 The way Mack took care if Harmony was really what made me fall in love. Some people just look down on people who have those issues but Mack stepped up and didnt even look back!
Also, I grew up about 15 minutes from where Harmony grew up so it was nice to have it in a book and it remember my childhood.

Too rushed
The story could of been better if the characters were more defined. The two musicians getting together was to rushed and just unbelievable. The story also needs a few editing changes. Hope next book is better.
