I love this series so much. I need it to never end. It's funny, sweet, and romantic. While also being hot af. The fantasy setting is awesome. And the art is amazing!

i'm really glad this volume got quite silly again - it wasn't nearly as fun when it was all serious and emotions and plot in the last volume. but this one was back to being fun!

Super cute and sexy, as always.

Though it very clearly is headed towards m-preg soon and I'm not a fan of that.

But currently the sex knowledge Elf is working for me.

Honestly, I didn't think I'd be loving this manga as much as I do. The story is so interesting and intriguing, and the characters are really well written. You just kind of fall in love with everyone. ^_^

Kouichi has decided to go back to his own world, thinking that Caius, powerful as he is, can surely summon another bride for himself. However, there are details Caius didn't mention. Once he learns the truth, Kouichi reconsiders his decision.

Although Kouichi and Caius are now a happily married couple, things still aren't perfect. Kouichi realizes that, due to their size difference, he's the only one who's fully satisfied when they have sex. Caius is fine with this, but Kouichi isn't, so the two of them agree to seek out a famous elven sex researcher and ask for his advice.

I feel like a lot of the fantasy races in this series need to be saved from themselves. This time around, we meet our first elf. Just like the titans are devoted to "prosperity," elves are driven to seek knowledge. It can get to the point where they're so obsessed they forget to eat or drink. At the same time, if they stop seeking knowledge, it negatively affects their lifespan and power.

The elven sex researcher, Reiquerd Carlsine, was surprisingly delightful (which helped, somewhat, to make up for the slime attack scene). I suppose you could call him a sex nerd - despite the fact that elves, in this world, don't have much of a sex drive themselves, he's utterly obsessed with sex and ensuring that everyone who wants to can enjoy it to the fullest. If you want random sex factoids joyfully shouted at you, he's your guy. I hope he turns into a series regular.

Volume 4 comes out next month, and I'm looking forward to it.

Extras:

A sweet bonus comic about Kouichi's best friend back in his world, as well as an additional humor-focused page.

Absolutely and insanely delectable. Oh how I’ve missed these two! And the way he was just ready to die FOR HIM?!?!?! The story takes to such an interesting point of becoming better lovers for each other. It must be really different for people who are in love.

This might be my favourite volume so far, just the first chapter was so sweet and it was so nice to see Kouichi decide to choose his own happiness over everyone else's. And then it veered from sweet to silly but also I kind of like what they're exploring lol. Adorable, loved it, 10/10.

I really liked the way this volume was done--specifically how it felt like a slice of life manga until the obvious fantasy aspects were introduced. Also, this one was definitely more about that spicy life, but I did enjoy how the author explored some of the complexities of relationships once the honeymoon stage is done.

I read these three books too quickly and now I must wait for volume 4. Sigh.

Happy reading!

Caius and Kouichi continue to be adorable, and I love their low-drama series. There's no angst, and when situations arise, they get resolved.
The latest issue is cracking me up and I can't wait for volume 4 to dig into it more.

2.5/5 🌶️ (how I rate spice is written in my bio).

At this point, what is there to say about this series? It’s obnoxious. It’s over the top. It’s got big dicks.

Like. Is there truly more to say? 😂

Being serious, though, I continue to enjoy this series. Every volume does have some world building and plot, so it keeps things interesting and refreshing.

Personally, if I were Kouichi, would I make the same decision he did in this volume? Probably not. I’m choosing friends and family over some dick, but hey. This is his story, not mine 😂

Honestly, it was just perfectly on brand for this volume to end with Kouichi and Caius going to a sex expert for “help” in their sex life. Preposterous idea considering the two of them get on like rabbits just fine and climax just fine too. Regardless, here we are with an elf who is very extra and very fun to read about 😂

All in all, this just continues being a silly little ride I’m on for the shits and giggles ✨

Of course I had to dive into the third volume. And just like the first two, it was SO GOOD. I’m legit sad that we have to wait until DECEMBER until the next volume is released. Naturally I preordered it already lol Because Caius and Kouichi are everything. So freaking sweet and sexy and adorable and funny.

This volume has Kouichi learning the truth about his and Caius’ connection. It’s a lot deeper than you realize. Once he learns the truth he makes his decision and it’s both hot af and so romantic. Gah! And then as they settle into their new norm, it’s so funny how they begin to see their differences.

The lengths they begin to take to get on the same page had me cackling and swooning, y’all. And the slime situation had me rolling! 🤣 I can’t wait for the next volume. 🥹

ANGST:💧💧
POV: 1st, mostly Kouichi

I didn't enjoy this as much as the previous 2 volumes... It sort of abandoned all of the story and tension the aforementioned volumes had in exchange for a borderline ridiculous new mission. I'm sure those looking for pure steam and steam alone will still enjoy this but I thought the balance of the steam and the story prior to this volume was what set this apart from other BL I've read.

I'll keep picking this series up but hope it returns to form and leans on it's story strengths more moving forward.

I got some good lore and an actual plot, not just some smutty scenes. This is the best installment so far for this series.

An enjoyable continuation from volume 2, without the info-dumpy aspect of volume 3 (at least as much, it was still kind of info-dumpy). If you really want some well-drawn fantasy m/m porn with size difference (and occasionally furry cameos), this is probably for you. It's still not my favorite isekai, but it's enjoyable for what it is. Also, the Seven Seas version is apparently uncensored, unlike the other English publications of the series, so I'd suggest that one. The volumes themselves are large, and the covers are very nice.

Kouichi and Caius are fun, and the side characters, old and new, are fun (). I think this volume does a better job of incorporating the sex into the narrative rather than just making up scenarios for it (mostly, it's still random at least once). And I'm not expecting "realistic fantasy porn", obviously (I have no idea what that would even be), but I do think it overall works better than in the previous volumes. I don't know how I feel about .

All in all, though, I'm still interested in seeing where the story goes, and if , so I'm looking forward to volume 4!

It still makes me think of m/m "Foreigner" by C.J. Cherryh fanfiction, which isn't bad or anything, it's just kind of funny. If you know that series at all and wanted m/m of that, this still might be for you?

If you're looking for better boy's love isekai, I'd recommend "The Scum Villain's Self-Saving System" by Mo Xiang Tong Xiu. It's quite good (and far better written). It handles a lot of the same tropes, and Seven Seas also published all four volumes of it in English (and as ebooks).

Why does Kouichi need to decide the hardest choice? The choice that he need to made is hard for him because he need to choose between his family and friends, and his lover. I know he loves Caius so much and he also loves his family and friends. If it is me, I don't know which one I will choose. At first, I don't know which world Kouichi will choose and I am glad he is not regret for choosing Caius over his family and friends.

I was afraid that he will regret it after he made a decision to stay with Caius, but he didn't and he is happier to be with Caius. I am glad that Kouichi have the feeling for Caius and Caius is really took care of Kouichi. I hope both of them can be together no matter what the situations are.

Wolfman didn’t just sort of become a homie; he definitely became a homie, and I want to like that but he literally did non-consensual acts on the human lead in the previous book.

Another smut scene; of course.

Human lead’s dead mother’s spirit showed up briefly, and was naked. I can’t even.

The people of Human lead’s world either no longer remember him or think he died years ago. Okay then.

And more smut, of course, obviously. And some more.

There’s kind of some plot, maybe, but it’s not interesting, so.

Tentacles. If you’ve seen hentai, you know where it was going; non-con.

Smut with an audience.

Yes, I’ll be rereading the rest of them.

When we left Koichi, he was dealing with a super rare, need-inducing fruit who’s only cure is buried deep in the land of the beastmen. So what else is the couple to do but travel there and find it themselves? Of course the king has to go with and they have to go alone, otherwise how will Koichi manage the fruits’... affects. You know the game by now, right? ...

This story is so silly. I can't help it. This story just makes me laugh. It's the most absurd. Yes, it's entertaining and it's so wild.

This is a Japanese tale on a different planet with all sorts of creatures. It's a mix of genres, Fantasy, Sci-fy, Romance, erotica. I'm sure there's more genres in there. It's a genre soup. I don't know if this has any worth, but it's entertaining.

Seriously, it makes me laugh out loud. The whole thing is so silly. I can't help continuing on with the story. It's a good sort of silly.

ridiculous. but also strangely sweet. this volume resolves the main conflict so far of kouichi’s choice regarding returning to his home world. there’s a random scene of his naked mom’s spirit wishing him well…? lol. but otherwise a lot of…ahem…bonding that goes on in this volume.

I really like this series but I'm getting strong foreshadowing that there's going to be mpreg later on and I just can not stand that. So I'm gonna wait until the series is over before I continue with this. If there's no mpreg, I'll keep reading. If there is...well I won't. This'll be it.

Honestly I never want this series to end lol

But really, the art is really beautiful with crisp, clear lines and drawing. It's ridiculous and I love everyone, and I don't want this series to end. I'm so glad to see there is a 4th one!
