I'm fairly new to the world of Joel Crofoot and this short story was a nice addition! The novella follows a South Asian couple on their journey of meeting and falling in love despite the twists, turns, and emotional turmoil. This was an adorable shifter short story and I look forward to reading the rest and reading more from Joel Crofoot!Joel Crofoot

Rory O’Neil was part of the Irish team at the Olympics in Dressage. He will compete, and win the Gold, and by the next morning, a scandal will crash down on him, stripping him of his medal and future. None of it was his doing, but that was moot for those making the decision. His brother, Killian, will help him move to America where he will start Second Chance Farms.

Susan Rogers has practiced Dressage and needs to find a new trainer. Watching Rory, and knowing his reputation, that is the man she wants. Be careful what you wish for because you might get it and not be able to turn it loose.

The chemistry between Rory and Susan is instant. She is so used to her accomplishments in the business world and thinks she can always have things her way. She is one who likes to push the limits. Rory will show her quickly, that his dominance requires her submission, not only working with her horse and following his guidelines—but in their newfound relationship. She pursued him, and he caught her. She thinks she can push him and have the power, but he teaches her discipline, over his knee and in the corner.

Rory: You know the Airs Above the Ground aren’t allowed. Even in freestyle competition, they’ll get you DQ’d.
Susan: I know, but don’t you find forbidden things are more fun?

I enjoyed these two characters and while Rory demands Susan’s submission, both in the ring and in the bedroom, he loves her drive and ambition. She just will have to learn the hard way who is in charge of this relationship. While this story is a shifter tale, the story will mostly concentrate on the relationship between the two main characters and horses.

There were eight wonderful stories to enjoy. A lot of the stories are written by my favorite writers. I found them well written and entertaining to read. This shifter romance collection also had a new author for me to discover: Z.Z. Warlander who wrote "Blackberry Moonlight" in this collection. The first story that starts this collection is "Mated by Moonlight" by C.D. Corri.
"Mated by Moonlight" by C.D. Corri
This story is a M/M shifter romance that's about Max Rose a wolf shifter who has two wolves inside him and Jamie a human witch. Max's father a mechanic died, and he returns home to Hope Falls and reopens the garage. Jamie runs a restaurant across the street. Max and Jamie were lovers until Max got in a fight with the alpha's son, Camdon, which he left home without telling Jamie. Will this be Max's chance to reunite with Jamie his mate, or will Camdon who is alpha of the pack force Max out of town? I enjoyed reading this M/M romance and found myself rooting for them as I read their romance story.
"Blackberry Moonlight" by Z.Z. Warlander
This short story is about Ruby a Brambles witch whom a demon was sent to capture her but got stuck in one of the family farm's cows. Now with her best friend, Itzell and cowboy, Song Minho and the demon cow, Strawberry, they're trailing after the summoner who wants to hurt Ruby. Will they succeed? This was an engaging story to read as they find out who it is. The characters were likable, there's a little romance, and the story was entertaining and well written.
I found "All" the stories enjoyable in this copy I received and a great addiction to the Shifter Unleashed series. I volunteer to read and review.

This is an anthology with a nice collection of stories related t shifters. This review is specifically for "Hearts Protector" by Erzabet Bishop.

Thomas is an art restoration expert who is trying to rebuild his reputation. His former wife did all she could to ruin his career. The current project he's working on is for the Westmore pack. They require one of their colleagues to be present to ensure the safety of the artifact. The colleague is Grayson, who is Thomas's mate.

Thomas has also hired a governess for his young daughter. Her name is Medina. She is trying to make a life away from her sisters.

Thomas and Grayson realize Medina is also their mate. However, Medina has a secret she is reluctant to share...

This is a Great box set of Paranormal Romances. I've only had the chance to read a couple of the stories written by my favorite authors. The stories range from MF to MMF to MM as far as I can see. I really enjoyed C. D. Gorri's story Mated by Moonlight. James or Jamie is a secret witch and Max is a wolf shifter with both a black wolf and a white wolf constantly fighting for dominance. When Max meets Jamie for the first time in middle school, both wolves agree that Jamie is their mate. They plan to be together until one day Max is pushed too far by the alpha's son and he attacks him. Max has to get out of town without having a chance to tell Jamie. Eight years later he is back to take over his deceased stepfather's garage and to claim Jamie as his own.

Shift Into Love
So many spicy shifter stories to start the year off nice. Each story is different and draws you in in a different way. Discover new authors and find some of your faves in this wonderful anthology. I'm thrilled it released on my birthday. It's easy to get lost in the stories and some you'll read again and again others you'll have to wait to see what's next. Definitely a favorite anthology and perfect to start off 2023.

I really enjoyed this set of shifter stories. They are all unique, with different scenarios and a new couple. The authors in this anthology were about 50-50 between authors I had read before, and authors who were new to me. I always enjoy the chance to read new authors who might become new favorites. I enjoyed the variety of shifters and the sweet and steamy situations they found themselves in. I liked some more than others, but all were worthwhile reads.

This was a fantastic collection of paranormal romances. Some authors we old favourites of mind but I also loved trying out stories from authors new to me. There was MM stories as well as MF. I absolutely loved Mated by Moonlight by CD Gorri. Totally recommend it, I enjoy MM but would also recommend it to anyone who has never read MM before.
There was something for all tastes. Shifters of many types, witches and more.
The story were engaging and well written and had some beautiful HEA’s.

This is a 7 book collection. Each book will have you from the first page to the last. Each couple has different situations that they much overcome in order to be together. A couple of them don't know at first that they are mates and it takes them a little time for them to figure it out and get together.
This is a wonderful collection and I would recommend it to anyone.

Firstly there is some MM in this collection so if this is not for you then please do be aware. There is a lovely mix of everything amongst these tales. Some made me laugh, some made me cry, some made me mutter. Brilliant!

o find Wow this book was amazingly written. Once I started I couldn’t put it down till I was finished. Eight stories that hook you right in and do not let go. Varied lengths and types of shifters gives you a great variety of paranormal steam. Loved the characters, vivid locales, great banter and roadblocks they have to cross to get to their HEA. Even found a couple of new authors to me that I will be looking into. Great collection you will want to binge read.

Not my favorite, but in all honesty, I only made it through the first two stories. The initial story I skimmed. I was not prepared for it and didn't really enjoy it. The second story was better, but by that point I had lost the thrill of a "new book". Still, the second story was more to my personal tastes, and I intend to go back and finish the other tales.

The collection contains shifter stories of varying lengths. Most are new authors to me. I enjoyed some, liked the others, and some I didn’t. But I’ve had a nice surprise in one story where the MMC is a close relation to a MMC in a series I’ve been following, the O’Neills of Ms. Delta James.

7 fantastic shifter stories by these wonderful authors with wolves, dragons, bears, lions and so many more, these are exciting and entertaining stories but sorry guys no spoilers you’re just going to have to find them out for yourself. Fantastic anthology I loved the stories and I highly recommend this book.

This is a fun collection of stories that I enjoyed reading. Some were better then others but each one kept me reading to the end to see what would happen with the main characters. I loved this collection of shifter short stories The stories are short and different. It was great to just go from one story to the next. So many differ shifters with great character interaction. I found some new authors to read and a few that I follow. I would definitely recommend this boxset.

This is a great Romance collection, Steamy and sweet, great characters and storylines. A few new authors that I have not read before and now I like. All stories were written well.
