Kait Nolan is a RITA® Award-winning Mississippi author who calls everyone sugar, honey, or darlin', and can wield a 'Bless your heart' like a Snuggie or a saber, depending on requirements. She believes in love, laughter, and that tacos are the world's most perfect food. When she's not writing, reading, working the evil day job, or wrangling family (both the two-legged and the four-), you can find her obsessively watching The Great British Bake Off.
Made For Loving You (Rescue My Heart #3) This book was a whirlwind of a roller-coaster ride. Laughter, tears, suspense, and steam. It truly did have a little bit of everything. I had already started to fall in love with Paisley and Ty in their prequel story “Bad Case of Loving You” in the Love Is In the Air anthology, so I was pretty excited to find out everything that happened after that. I’m a sucker for a second chance, so I immediately connected with that facet of the book. I hated to watch these two trip over all the old baggage that was still standing between them, but I loved it when they were able to clear it away. Their connection has withstood the test of time, and it was awe-inspiring to see in action. I think I spy the groundwork for some future book heroes and heroines in the making. I can’t wait to see where the author takes us next. When You Got a Good Thing (Misfit Inn #1) You've got to expect a series that starts with a funeral is going to produce more than a few tears. Take this as my warning, grab the tissue box before you start. You're probably going to need it. The depth of pain and misunderstandings that have kept Xander and Kennedy apart is tragic. And that those same misunderstandings have bled into her relationships with her family is heartbreaking. And it kept me anxiously flipping pages, desperate to see them get their happily-ever-after. I'm so glad that this is the start of a new series because I badly want to know more about these misfit sisters. You Were Meant For Me (Wishful #10) I love Wishful. And being a Northerner myself, I adore when I get the chance to see Wishful through the eyes of an outsider. Tess and Mitch pretty much took this story and ran away with it. There were so many times I wanted to take this pair and shake some sense into them With one running scared and the other trying to bulldoze through, I’m so impressed that the author was able to corral them into a common outcome. My favorite part of any Wishful novel has got to be the interactions within the Campbell clan. They’re pushy, and nosy, and opinionated, and the whole lot of them just have so much love to give. Now that we’ve finally read Mitch’s story, I have no idea what’s still to come, but I can’t wait to get my hands on it no matter what it is. I received a complimentary advanced copy of this book through Booksprout.
Rcvd an advanced reader copy from Booksprout for giving my two cents. We meet Paisley in a previous book as a friend of Ivy's. We know her and Ty went home together after thr wedding but what ppl don't know is that they were high school sweethearts. They decide to keep it casual...as if. Ty has been out of thr army for a few years and is working as a deputy now. He still carries a lot of guilt that Garrett didn't come home and that Bethany lost thr baby. Ty knows he can't love anyone. Paisley is a Romance writer and as such as a vivid imagination but when mysterious items start to be delivered delivered her house, she gets worried. First a mugging a few months ago and now items that are personal are showing up. Her friend at thr police station are doing everything they can to find the person but unless something happens to her there ain't anything they can do. But when her dog Duke is tampered so to speak it's the last straw. She decides to head to Ty's for the weekend for regrouping. Ty is excited that Paisley is coming for the weekend. He hasn't felt happy in years. Both are enjoying their time until Paisley sees Duke in thr collar the stalked sent her...he followed her to Ty's. Ty has now taken over to help her but at what cost? Can Ty overcome thr hero complex he thinks he has and can Paisley follow her heart? Another great book by Kait!
i love kait's book and this one doesn't disappoint. we meet wandered kennedy bartending in ireland when she gets devastating news that her mom died. on top of that kennedy hasnt been home for 10 years and not sure what to do about it. seeing her sisters and Xander plus facing the truths from her past. Xander, a deputy us saddening my joans death and is not sure how to feel when he learns kennedy is coming home after 10 yrs...his anger still lingers plus he needs his questions answered. being home is hard for kennedy not just bc of her mom vut bc her sisters have pretty much ganged up on her for her absence all these years. xander and kennedy call a truce and are letting bygones be bygones. kennedys mom was in the process of adopting 13 yr old Ari when she died and kennedy is the only one who ari will speak to and its because they can related to one another. Kennedy had always been the family screwup and it doesnt help that her sisters throw it in her face..no job no education no money...but what no one knows is that she has a award winning travel blog and there is interest for her to publish. her self esteem is at an all time low. kennedy has some plans..but will her sisters listen or will they shun her? Xander finally learns the truth about why kennedy left...but what will he do with that info? will kennedy finally be free from her past skeletons?
LOVED this book. We meet Tess, business woman at the father's firm, is flying into Wishful from London to see her father Trey and his new wife Sandy. Shes happy that her father is happy but cant see past the failed marriage of her parents. Mitch, architect extraordinaire is in a funk...a bad one since returning from Scotland...and the reason is Anna...his one wk fling and now he cant sto thinking of her...esp the way she snuck out in the middle of the night. Tess is overwhelmed with her dads her new family at th family dinner but what shocks her is the laugh all too familiar and when those eyes turn towards her she is shocked. Mitch is shocked t see Anna and when she trips he jumps in to help her but the weird this is that trey calls her Tess and her calling him dad...holy crap on a cracker! Mitch is shocked in a good way....its fate that she is here! They are both still attracted to one another and when a work opportunity comes knocking its bitter sweet when Granny suggests Tess stay with mitch. They both agree to start where they left off...but at what cost...love or heartache?
Made for Loving You This is an exciting second chance romance. It was so romantic how Paisley and Ty first met in high school, and then almost the same way again 20 years later. Ty and his best friend Garrett grew up together and were closer than brothers. Ty left to go in the military with Garrett after graduating high school as Ty always felt he had to protect Garrett. Paisley was heartbroken then, but happy to run into him again years later. There was still a spark between the two. Ty lived about three hours from Paisley and when she started getting threatening packages, Paisley went to stay with Ty awhile. I felt so bad for Ty as he was really messed up emotionally after Garrett died in service. I was so glad that Ty and Paisley had their friends around to help them with their relationship and the stalker. It was an exciting book that I strongly encourage you to read.
When You Got a Good Thing Kennedy Reynolds was one of four girls that Joan had taken in as foster children and adopted. She had many foster children in her life. Kennedy left ten years ago with no explanation. Xander and Kennedy were in love and had just graduated high school. They got in a fight and when Xander went to apologize, he found out she was gone. They were suppose to leave together after they had made some money. Kennedy has traveled around Europe doing many different jobs. She gets a call from one of her sisters telling her that their mother was killed in a car accident. Kennedy immediately makes plane reservations to return home.
This was such a good book. I felt so bad for Kennedy, especially after I found out why she left her family and Xander. The good thing about her having to depend on herself was that she grew up and learned so much by living life. Xander always felt like he made Kennedy leave and he felt so bad about that. The sad part was that they both still loved each other during that time and thought of each other all the time. I was upset with her sisters and how they treated her when she first came back home. The love that Kennedy and Xander had was beautiful. I strongly encourage you to read this book.
You Were Meant for Me Another book I loved. I always enjoy catching up with characters from past books, and I was able to catch up with quite a few characters. I felt bad because Mitch has always been such a flirt, but since he got back from Europe he was only moping around. His large family and friends were giving him such a bad time. Little did they know he had met the woman of his dreams. I loved it when Tess saw Mitch with her father’s new family. It was funny how they both tried to pretend they didn’t know each other. It is really hard to keep things quiet in a small town. I loved that Mitch’s grandma was the one to help the two be together without questions. I felt bad that Tess did not have a traditional family, but both parents loved her dearly. Since her and her parents were real close, she only had a portion of what happened between her two parents which colored her views. I felt bad that she didn’t think she had a good foundation for a relationship with Mitch. The two made such a good couple. I strongly encourage you to read the book.
I loved these stories and know you will too. MADE FOR LOVING YOU Former Army Ranger Ty Brooks and romance author Paisley Parish were sweethearts in HS. From the moment he rescued her from a “handsy” boy at the prom they were inseparable. They thought they would be together forever, but the day Paisley thought he would propose, he broke up with her and left her so he could join the Army with his best friend. Even his reasons were real to him, Ty ended up breaking Paisley’s heart. Almost 20 years later they find themselves in a similar scenario at a wedding when he rescues her again. As we learn about their lives during all that time, and the stalker that seems to follow Paisley, we come to fall in love with Ty and all the struggles he’s endured. Your heart will also break for Ty and the guilt he’s endured most of this time. This is a story about losses, forgiving oneself, opening one’s heart to love, new beginnings, not giving up on love and finding “home”. As the author so beautifully describes it, “ Home is a feeling”. Here is to finding “home” with the one you love.
WHEN YOU GOT A GOOD THING Whether it’s the audiobook version or the ebook one, you will fall in love with this first book in the author’s series, The Misfit Inn. The much loved adoptive mother of Kennedy Reynolds unexpectedly dies. Kennedy, now in Ireland, left home ten years ago, leaving behind her adoptive sisters, her mother and the boy she deeply loved. She was forced to leave and she knew her return would be painful. But she never expected that when she came face to face with Deputy Xander Kincaid, the boy, now a man, that meant so much to her , Kennedy is still keeping secrets, and you know that this will be a heartbreaking story. Will Kennedy finally confess the reason for her sudden departure? If she does, will she be forgiven? Will Xander turn his back to Kennedy, or will that cement their love? Classic to the author’s style, you will be taken on an emotional rollercoaster ride filled with characters that are perfect in their imperfections, leaving you wanting to spend more time at The Misfit Inn.
YOU WERE MEANT FOR ME The author takes us back to Wishful , and it’s nosy but lovable characters. This story belongs to Tess Peyton and Mitch Campbell. They met in Scotland by chance , had a weeklong affair and on the last day, Peyton disappears. Peyton leaves with her memories and Mitch is left heartbroken. But fate interferes when back in the US, they meet again in Wishful where her father has recently married Mitch’s aunt. The surprises continue with one that will change their lives forever. I have to confess that as much as I loved Mitch, it wasn’t until almost to the end that I finally warmed up to Tess causing me not to enjoy this story as much as the others. That said, it was still a good story filled with family, small town living and two strong characters faced with life changing decisions
This set is a great addition to the library of any longtime or newbie fan of Kait Nolan. It gives readers a taste of not only books set along the same genre, but also gives them a look at three of her wonderful series.
Made For Loving You: Ty and Paisley hit all my second chance buttons, and then some! Paisley is such a fun character; a straight-shooter who writes romance but is fine with keeping things casual at this point in her life. Her reconnection with Ty is such an adorable and blast-from-the-past meet-cute (go grab the prequel novella, Bad Case of Loving You, to read it!), but their friendship really grabs the reader. There’s no bad feelings, no guilt, just happiness to be back together. It’s not often that this trope brings those easy feelings back to the reunited couple.
You Were Meant For Me: MItch and Tess are probably my favorite couple in Wishful, which is saying something since I have met a couple in this series I didn’t like! Beyond the surprise baby storyline, which can be hit or miss for me in general, I love the idea of two people meeting while on vacation and experiencing that instant click. For each of them, it wasn’t just a week long fling, but something meaningful that left them both sad and a bit heartbroken. I didn’t appreciate how the family treated Mitch at first, warning him off Tess like they did. They pigeonholed him into the playboy role and wouldn’t let him grow. Regarding Tess’s relationship with her parents, while their unsuccessful marriage soured her in the institution and love in general, I was happy to see the affection both had for her. Like all books in this series, each can be read as a stand-alone without the reader missing out on anything. I loved it!
When You Got A Good Thing: The Misfit Inn series and all its spinoffs are probably my very favorite books from Kait Nolan. I love this small town and all the quirky characters. Kennedy is definitely one of my favorite FMCs because even as she personally thinks, and is kind of treated like, she's aimless, she's anything but. Her decade away from home, under horrible circumstances, have made her who she is today. Xander appreciates that, even though she broke his heart all those years ago...and he's still angry through part of the book. Because he never got over her or got answers to why she left him in the first place. But when push comes to shove with her sisters...and boy, does it ever, she stands by her side. While I personally might have held a grudge longer than Kennedy did, I admire her willingness to be open with her family, even as the judged her.
Overall, I'm a big fan of Kait Nolan's work and even though I've read each of these books separately apart from this set, I couldn't resist reading them again and visiting with beloved characters. Her books just feel like home to me.
Made for Loving You is a brilliant stand alone read. It is however also the third book in the wonderful Rescue My Heart series and has connections to the simply brilliant Misfit Inn series.
Tyson Brooks is a handsome, sexy Army Ranger who is haunted by his service. Now a police chief in Eden Ridge, he serves and protects in a different way. Paisley Parrish is a romance writer always giving her readers the HEA she never got for herself. These two were high school sweethearts and now, suddenly and unexpectedly, eighteen years later their paths cross again. Paisley is running from a stalker, can Ty be the one to save her or will their past destroy them?
As always Kait Nolan has written a beautiful and emotional book with wonderful characters. Both Ty and Paisley have featured in previous books and have their own cute meet reunion book which is a fabulous read too. It is so good to catch up with many characters that are like old friends for those of us who have read the previous books. This book has heart and depth and is a truly wonderful read. I absolutely loved it and cannot recommend it highly enough.
When You Got A Good Thing is the fabulous first book in this new small town series. Meet Kennedy and her sisters and discover the magic of Misfit Inn. Kennedy left home with a huge secret and felt she could never return home to Eden's ridge. Her mother's death changed that. Xander has waited ten years and has never forgotten his first love. Can this be their second chance or will the secret keep them apart forever. Once again Kait Nolan has created a wonderful small town series with incredible, complex and diverse characters. Each one has a story that I cannot wait to discover as this series progresses. I thoroughly enjoyed this book and definitely recommend it to all romance fans everywhere.
You Were Meant For Me is a book in the fabulous Wishful series but can be read as a stand-alone. Mitch and Tess had a one night stand that didn't quite end up the way they expected. Neither of them could have predicted what happened next. Kait Nolan is a terrific author who makes reading her books an absolute pleasure and visiting Wishful is like putting on a comfortable pair of slippers and cuddling up with a blanket on a chilly afternoon. The wonderful characters that appear throughout these books are like old friends and every visit is a pleasure. Mitch was long overdue his happy ever after ... this is his story.
This anthology of books from some of Kait Nolan’s best series is a truly fabulous read. I read each of these books when they were released individually and re-read them here. They still deserve their 5* rating. I cannot recommend them highly enough.
I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
**Made For Loving You Made For Loving You is another fantastic story by the talented Kait Nolan. Paisley and Ty light up the pages. It was fun watching them lower their defenses and admit their feelings for each other. I was shocked when the stalker was revealed but it made sense. It was nice catching up with old friends.
**When You Got A Good Thing I loved this book! ❤ Kennedy and Xander are perfect together. Their relationship has a solid foundation of friendship to keep it strong. Their journey to overcome the obstacle that separated them is believable. They worked through the problems and came through stronger than when they started.
Xander is such a sweet, strong, moral man. He isn't like so many H's because he never feels the need to prove his manhood by acting macho. He proves his manliness with everything he does. Kennedy has low self-esteem--especially around her sisters. She works hard to prove herself and finally realizes she isn't unworthy. That she has a lot to offer. It was a joy to see her grow in that way.
Personally, I couldn't have forgiven the 'villain'. Forgiving gave Kennedy the closure she so desperately needed and I'm glad she was able to do it
The secondary characters are well-developed and interesting. I'm really looking forward to seeing which one gets their story told next.
If you enjoy well-written romances with well-developed characters, then definitely read When You Got A Good Thing. I am eagerly looking forward to the rest of the series.
**You Were Meant For Me Another terrific story by the talented Kait Nolan. Sometimes your best-laid plans get sidetracked when Fate steps in. Such is the case with Tess and Mitch. Tess has her entire life planned out. All neat and color-coded. She made one unplanned decision and sent her life completely off the rails. Mitch is happy in his life and believes in plans but he doesn't feel a need to plan out his entire life. He is ready to take what Fate offers and make the most of it. He will do anything to convince Tess that what they have is real and will last a lifetime.
I loved the push and pull between these characters. They never tried to deny their feelings and knew it would take a lot of effort to make their relationship work. Of course, having the entire Campbell clan involved can make for some interesting situations! Especially when Tess is an only child and doesn't know how to handle the Campbell brand of nosiness, caring, and love. I also loved catching up with old friends as Tess and Mitch found their way to HEA.
I urge you to read all the stories set in Wishful, MS. It is a town I would really love to live in. It's filled with quirky, unique characters who truly care about each other.
All three books in this collection are wonderful second chance romance stories. My personal favorite is Made For Loving You because I really enjoy a good romance laced with suspense and adventure! I wanted Paisley Parish for my BFF when I met her in Let It Be Me - she was crazy fun, creative and fiercely loyal - but that girl sure couldn’t find her match! And since she’s a romance writer, she has a pretty good idea of what true love means for her. Made for Loving You tells us why she couldn’t find a happy ending with anyone for so long, though not through lack of trying! Her first love, Ty Brooks, still owned most of her heart. This is a moving, passionate story of two people that were truly meant to be together. And the journey they take together in this book is so adventurous and captivating that I couldn’t put it down before the last page. And with an epilogue, the ending was well worth staying up for! Kait Nolan’s books guarantee an HEA; that’s a given. But the ending in You Were Meant For Me had me laughing out loud with its unexpected and hilarious conclusion. In fact, there are many unexpected turns throughout the story! You know Mitch and Tess will fall in love, but getting there us so much fun, especially with the wacky Campbell clan. This story is even more interesting if you’ve read previous books in the Wishful series. However, it’s definitely a stand-alone story with excellent character development that will embrace first time readers and have you wanting to look into the side characters’ own stories. Make a pot of tea and sit back for a really good story. When You Got A Good Thing is the anchor for The Misfit Inn series. Kennedy Reynolds thought she could never go home again. But her mother’s unexpected death forces her home to Eden’s Ridge, TN, where we meet her sisters, and the love of her life, Xander. Her amazing adopted and foster siblings will embrace the reader as warmly as they are there for each other through thick and thin. There is no cliffhanger to this tale, but you’ll want to get to know all of these characters in more detail. Lucky for you, their stories have already been written! So, binge away!!!.

Kait Nolan is one of my all time favorite authors. I've read all of her contemporary romance and romantic suspense books, many more than once. She is one of those authors where I will read sight unseen, and have never been disappointed.
Made For Loving You: book 3 of the series
I hate that this series is over! I didn't realize this was a romantic suspense, and I loved it! I loved the other characters from other books making an appearance. I laughed, I may have gotten misty, my jaw dropped, I felt a lot of things. This was a good one. I'm just hoping for another spin off of characters so we still get to see these two!
When You Got A Good Thing:
Book one of the Misfit Inn series.
This book will tick you off, break your heart, make you laugh, and make you fall in love all in the course of this book. This family is just as much a mess as you'd expect given the circumstances, yet they all love and support each other in their own way. Another great small town story from this author!
You Were Meant For Me: book 10 of the Wishful Series
Here's what I love about Kait Nolan: her characters. Many times when I'm reading a series, by the time the next book comes out how many months after the previous, it takes me a couple of chapters to remember who some of the characters are and what their story was and what their relationships are to other characters. But not in Wishful! It's so easy to slip back into that little town like you never left. Every single character might not be in every single book, but there's enough mention of them all throughout the series that it's easy to remember every last one of them. Mitch we've known from the very beginning - and I was so excited when I saw this book was his story! I just knew the town flirt would be a big soft marshmallow deep down, and I loved every single word of it. I'm not going to give away anything more than that, so take the leap and read this one for yourself. It's definitely one of my favorites if this series.
Oh look something new from Kait Nolan and I loved it?! Such a surprise :p
This is a great collection of three great reads
Made for Loving You:
Picks up post the prequel, Bad Case of Loving You; which you so don't need to read at all, but it does add more to your enjoyment if you read it before this. Paisley and Ty are two folks with baggage, especially with/towards each other - second chance love stories tend to have that :p At first you think you're getting a story about them figuring their things out and making it work. But then you're pulled into a mystery along with them figuring things out. There were times when I just wanted to reach into the book and smack some sense into both of them, but mostly Ty. My favourite moment is without a doubt when Paisley full names Ty over something that had a typical response from those who didn't just get called out. It was lovely and firmly established who they are to each other.
When You Got a Good Thing: It's Kennedy's - the sister who 'ran away' - story. I enjoyed the Misfit Inn series, making this a good reminder of how it became part of the stories of other characters.
You Were Meant for Me:
Things get a little awkward when Tess and Mitch have see each other again post a holiday fling. It helps some that they were both thinking of the other...not so helpful, that it happens when Tess is meeting her dad's newly acquired extended family. We know and love Mitch from his previous appearances in other Wishful books, and it's great that he finally gets his own story. Less great is just how similar Tess is to Norah - in terms of personality, drive and crippling self doubt - but her family dynamic is different and it plays a large part in the way in which her personality drives the story. There were some great sigh moments, and overall this is another winner in the Wishful world.
I have been provided with a copy of Second Time Around: An Anthology of Second Chances from the author for an impartial review. This box set has the following titles Made for Loving You, When You Got a Good Thing, and You Were Meant For Me.
Made for Loving You
This is the third book in the Rescue My Heart series and I just absolutely loved getting to go back into this wonderful world with it’s amazing characters. This book takes place a few weeks after the end of the prequel short story Bad Case of Loving You. Oh my gosh this book was just absolutely amazing. I was just drawn into this amazing world and I jut couldn’t enough of these characters. My emotions were just all over the place and I just couldn’t help but fall in love with these characters. I was just drawn into their story and I just felt so much for what they had gone through. I was so sad to turn the last page and I hope we will see more of these characters in future books.
When You Got a Good Thing
What a great way to start a series the characters just drew me in and didn’t want to let me go. This book was just so easy to read. I finished it within a day and I can’t wait for the next one. I fell absolutely in love with the Reynolds sister and it was great to see one of them find their happily ever after. I can’t wait for the next book in the series to fall even more in love with this family. This book was just a truly wonderful and beautiful story.
You Were Meant For Me
This is a book in the Wishful Romance series and we finally get to see Mitch who we have previously met find his happily ever after. This book was just wonderful. I absolutely loved this story and this book was just cleverly written. I just didn’t want this story to end it just captured my attention and had my emotions all over the place. I can’t wait to see what this author has in store for us next.
When You Got A Good Thing. Kennedy and Xander were ok as a couple. I was surprised they reconnected so quickly. They didn't have intense chemistry. It was kind of mild.
What I didn't like was the way her sisters (other than Pru) treated her. I don't remember reading that they ever tried to find out what was going on with Kennedy that made her run.
I wish there had been more reaction from the sisters when Kennedy's secret came out. The book started out on a sad note with all of the sisters trying to handle the situation. Overall, this was an entertaining second chance romance with a bit of angst.
Made For Loving You This book was more about Paisley and Ty's romance then her stalker. The who was pretty easy to figure out as I had suspicions from the beginning about the person.
It was obvious Ty and Paisley loved one another, but man, they traveled a bumpy road. I was surprised at how far down Ty had spiraled after what happened to Garrett. I was kind of impressed at how Paisley hung in there with him.
I was also surprised when she talked about being a "runner" from situations. In her shoes, I probably would have run much more often and faster than she ever did.
I liked that this was a sweet, small town, second chance romance. I liked all of the secondary characters. This was an enjoyable read with a bit of heat.
You Were Meant For Me Mitch and Tess had this whirlwind romance, but they still seemed so connected and had this awesome chemistry. I didn't understand why they felt the need to keep it a secret. Maybe I missed something.
I did understand Tess' hesitation after her big surprise. Communication would have resolved a lot of issues but it didn't happen that way initially. Mitch and Teas did finally reach their HEA in a rather unique way.
I voluntarily read and reviewed the Advanced Reader Copy of this book received via Booksprout.
I loved reading all three of these books of second chance love by Kait Nolan.
Made For Loving You Wow, Made for Loving You is a beautifully written story about second chance for love Tyson and Paisley. The story deals with PTSD, survivors guilt, a stalker and a group of friends that are always there to support and care about you. Mad for Loving You takes you through all the emotions of laughter, tears, fear and is truly an intense romantic story.
When You Got a Good Thing I really enjoyed reading Kait Nolan 1st book in her new Misfit Inn series, When You Got A Good Thing. Ms. Nolan has the ability to write stories that you will throughly enjoy reading. In the Misfit Inn series, Kennedy Reynolds returns home after traveling 10 years as a free spirit after her adopted mother dies I an car accident and Xander Kindcaid, her high school love whom she has never forgotten and her second chance at a HEA. I loved how their love story is intertwined with the relationships of Kennedy's adopted sisters, the town, and the Sheriff ( Xander's father).
You Were Meant For Me If you believe in fate and romance then You Were Meant For Me is the book to read. Six weeks after having an romantic chance unforgettable affair in Scotland, Tess Peyton comes to Wishful to be with her father. Mitch Campbell hasn't been himself since his European vacation and is invited to his Aunt's house with the whole Campbell family to meet her husband daughter, Tess. What are the chances fate had a hand in bringing them together again! Surprised and then they try keeping their first meeting secret from her dad and the Campbell's. You Were Meant For Me is romantic and full wonderful characters in the small town of Wishful.
I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Made for Loving You - Loved how this series interconnected. Paisley and Tyson are one couple that are just meant to be. My heart hurt for her because she thought they were going to have forever but he chose his best friend and the army over her. Years later they reunite at a wedding - loved their banter. Can two people who use to be so much in love (and probably still are) just do casual? Both have scars and no desire to be in a forever relationship - well at least that is what they think they think. I love a good suspense along with my romance and this book definitely delivers. Of course there is angst - makes for a good read - but will we get or should I say will Tyson and Paisley get their HEA? Loved the ending.
When You Got a Good Thing - I loved this book!!! Great start to this series and can't wait to read the next book. The real reason Kennedy left was well just a shock to me and not it's not the typical reason. Love second chance romance if there was no cheating involved and this one didn't disappoint. Not only is this a romance but a story about family, misunderstandings, overcoming conflict, forgiveness and so much more. I love this author's writings and can say this is now one of my favorite books of hers (and I have read a lot of her books).
You Were Meant for Me - A fling that turns into so much more. Loved Mitch and how he loved Tess. She frustrated me somewhat. I understand about how the past can tarnish our views of the present and future but come on - give the guy the benefit of the doubt. I did like that the angst was short and how the Campbell family (Tess' too) and friends rallied around them both. Would love to visit Wishful and hope this series never ends.
MADE FOR LOVING YOU Tyson and Paisley were amazing. I absolutely adored their history and the growing up they'd done since then. When they bantered in front of his friends and confused everyone I had a good laugh. These two characters had great chemistry and a terrific story.
WHEN YOU GOT A GOOD THING Kennedy and Xander. Oofta - I adored these two. Kennedy spent a lot of her life running for good reason. When Xander comes face-to-face with the reality of why she left, he has some growing up to do. This is a fabulous read!
YOU WERE MEANT FOR ME OH MY GOODNESS! I absolutely loved Mitch finding his happy - and Tess was fantastic! I don't want to give too much away but the roller coaster these two went on was perfect. Seeing Mitch throughout the previous books I was really pulling for his HEA. Of course, nothing can be easy and for the town flirt it seems fitting that his story was more than a little complicated. Tess was great - she wasn't really broken even though she thought she was. Not having any experience in a family dynamic like Mitch's, the Campbells were beyond overwhelming to her. That certainly lead to a few complications between them. Though their path was a bit rocky at times they made it work - even though it took some crazy Campbell help along the way. It was great to see all the previous characters doing so well and catching up with everyone. This is a great read-trip back to Wishful and I hope we get to go again soon!
Made for Loving You is a lovely, romantic, and touching story about first love getting a second chance after life has done some damage and taught some hard lessons, and after personalities are formed and strengthened, and after experience has been gained. I loved it. An excellent addition to the series that is a standalone - but you'll want to read the rest if you haven't already! Fantastic.
When You Got a Good Thing is the start of Kait Nolan's Misfit Inn series, which I read all out of order - not something I prefer to do. But it was an amazing series. The series is set in a small town and follows a family of caring, fun, but scarred individuals with baggage ... just wonderful and so engaging. Everyone deserves a second chance at love; and savvy, resourceful Kennedy and committed, dependable Xander are no exception. Their chemistry was amazing and their reactions were heartfelt, when it was good and when it was painful. Well written for sure.
You Were Meant for Me is a story good enough to eat. I always love visiting the fine folks of Wishful. It's just a good ol' southern sojourn in the land of happily ever after, and Mitch's long-awaited love story was a solid addition to the series. The characters had depth and appeal and as always, the small town/big family of support and well-meant interference was a great back-drop. Highly recommend.
Made for loving you I had read the prequel novella for this so was eagerly waiting for the full story.....I wasn't disappointed! This is a second chance romance and contains a fair bit of suspense that will keep you turning the pages. There were times were I laughed and also shed a tear or two. Loved this!
You were meant for me The eternal batchelor and the career woman meet and have a "no strings fling" for a week and part not knowing each others full names. As they both move on wishing they had the other still in their life fate steps in and gives them a hand.......and of course a fountain wish! Great story from start to finish, I read this on one sitting not wanting to put it down. This is a second chance romance with a few surprises along the way.
When you got a good thing Totally LOVED this. Kait Nolan you have outdone yourself, this was awesome, the emotions and feelings this brought out has me totally hooked. There is so much going on this this story from misunderstandings, long held secrets to love and romance all in a large mixed family. Loving the first glimpse into the other characters and am looking forward to their stories and of course stories from within The Misfit Inn.
Ended at 89% mark on my e-reader. If you want a deleted scene you need to give your e-mail. There is an epilogue that I did enjoy attached to the book. It is a standalone story with a few crossover characters.
This starts after they've been apart for 18 years. They were mad for each other in high school and then he joined the Army, with his best friend. He's come close to ending his life over unfounded guilt.
The h is a successful writer and the characteristics of the H show up in some of her books. She is twice divorced because she compares her husbands against the H and they fall short.
Story has suspense and drama thrown in, some miscommunications, sweet dog, twists, HEA and romance. Lovemaking - a lot - outside of marriage - heat level 4+ out of 5.
The ending where he attends a gathering, put on by his best friend's wife, was very emotional. No cheating, no cliffhanger, a nasty villain, and I did figure out who it was. I would have liked to know what sentenced the villain got. Not telling if male or female, need to discover for yourself. Some crude words used several times. (ljb)
Bad Case of Loving You, A rescue my heart novel with Paisley and Ty
Second Time Around (Anthology of Second Chances) 588 pages By Kait Nolan
part 1) Paisley and Ty Always in love but never married to each other these two Ty and Paisley are great characters in this wonderful story. Just a little drama before they can settle down together. Part 2) when you got a good thing, Kennedy and Xander are full of love for each other in school but soon get ripped apart. Does love last while growing up, it did for these two. Part 3) you were meant for me (Mitch and Tess) Mitch and Tess the last story is sweet and tender with family and the town they all live in. I've taken entirely to much time reading this box set. Out of all three stories I'm not sure which one I liked best, all have this wonderful love, passion, and family feeling that makes for a great story. Characters are great in each and every story.
As an ARC reader, this is my honest opinion. I had the pleasure of reading these individually when they first came out. The first, "Made for Loving You" I had given 5 stars. The next, " When You Got a Good Thing", I had given 4. and the last, "You Were Meant for Me" was again given 5 stars. So, overall rating as a bundle book, I give it 5 stars. Kate Nolan is a consistent writer. She always takes the added effort to accuracy for the area and current times as well as proofreading. They are fun, have plenty of passion, and the characters, storylines, and plots are well thought out and well rounded. Guaranteed to give you plenty of entertaining hours amongst amazing characters with stories ending on either a happy note or have the beginning of a happy ever after. Enjoy!

A three book anthology of second chance romances. Lovely stories with great people. People who had a relationship but then, for whatever reason, went their separate ways. Now they are back together. But there are things from the past that can affect those relationships and the second chance to find love. All too often we have in our minds what we think someone feels or how someone feels about us. How we may have messed up a relationship because we assume things that aren’t there. We did something wrong or think we did. Wonderful stories. Loved them all.

Everyone wants a 2nd chance. We’ve all been there. These 3 full length Kait Nolan 2nd chance romances are all about getting the opportunity to try one more time.
I had already read all 3 of these, but wanted the chance to revisit these characters and this town I’ve come to love!
If you have the chance to choose who you read, choose Kait Nolan. She will never disappoint on the quality of her writing, the depth of her characters and entire ‘feel good/I want to live in this town’ feelings you will develop.

Redeeming a second chance times three Three different flavor of second chance romances, each from a different series, each unique, but all of them so good! I think I like the third of these the best only because the second chance is an improbable surprise! But the best part is that is you’re new to Kait Nolan, and like these, they’re a great introduction to each series where there’s more reading to do…!.

I enjoy reading Kate's stories and this anthology was no different. She put together stories from different series, all of them about second chances in love. Her writing style is captivating, even when there are negative events in the stories, she can bring some positive thinking about things that happened. Every time I read her books I feel lighter, and happier, because of her stories. So if you are into this genre, this book is a must-read!.

All three books are great reads. I love the fire in Kennedy's character so much. Whether you are in Wishful or Eden's Ridge you just can't go wrong. Women with spirit and strength vs men with stubbornness and love. I absolutely recommend this trilogy to romance lovers. All of Kait Nolan's romance books are a great place to escape to.

All three books in the anthology is amazing. Different stories but all have the good endings that I love. Made for loving you: Paisley and Ty with Paisly difficult situation, love beats all 😀 When you got a good thing: Kennedy and Xander, have a history but over come everything that happened. You were meant for me: Tess and Mitch with the fun out of town and twist of fate gives them a love story worth reading about.
This is a sweet and inspiring anthology. Sometimes for a variety of reasons, first time romances don't end the way we would like them too. But this anthology is proof that hope and communication, with a nice boost from secondary characters and fate, bring people who were meant to be together again. I highly recommend this, especially if you enjoy second-chance romances.

Looking for an easy read that'll keep your interest but doesn't require heavy lifting? This anthology fits the bill. These 3 books are all different yet the same, in that they offer second chance at love. I like that they were not totally predictable, though I said there's no heavy lifting I want a little challenge! HEA's make me smile. Hope reading this collection makes you smile also.

No one writes the way Kait Nolan does...you just want to be there! These three books are no exception. These books happen to be one of my top ten series (though I love ALL Kait Nolan) of all time. Heartwarming, heartbreaking with a bit of fun, laughs and smiles...I never want to put them down, so I keep re-reading. A definite 5 star read and make sure to read the Misfit Inn series as well, some of those folks show up in these books too. <3
