I LOVE THIS BOOK its not a 5⭐️ bcz ending is little rushed but overall its good. I like the writing than plot. Its about girl called as siren bcz she seduces client and extracts info but fall in love with client. It got spice though.I DID NOT SEE THAT ENDING COMING THOUGH that was surprise.I would like to see more about the brother.

Wow. I don’t even know where to start with this book. It was so freaking good! This was a change from January’s first three books. I absolutely loved the mystery and suspense of this book. All the twists and turns this story takes you on keeps you completely engaged in it. The connection between Quinn and Jade is amazing and so hot. Then there’s Alfie. At one point during this book I thought about starting a drinking game, you know, to drink every time I felt the need to punch Alfie. Then I remembered I didn’t drink so I just tried really hard to not throw my kindle. This is an excellent book and a must read!

So this book is about Jade and Quiin, the former one has a very hard background, her childhood was horrible, and then she was “saved”, once you read the book you’ll know that not everything that comes in a shiny box is good. She becomes a Siren, everything a man can want or need, but we all know what sirens are... and how they lure their prey.
Quinn is a billionaire, owns his own media company, and is a workaholic, who doesn’t know that he needs anything else, until he meets with Jade... he has a difficult family situation to deal with, which is why he throws himself at work.
He is a job, she is what he needs... who will win?
Those two together are 🔥, there is so much more that what meets the eye, you’ll fall in love with their imperfections✨!
Just read this beautiful, heartbreaking and intense love story, you’ll love it!

Yet another amazing book by author January James. What I love most about this authors writing is that every book she writes is so unique and gives the reader something a little different.
As always the descriptive writing was amazing, so much so that you envisage the scenes and characters as the story unfolds.
Everything about this book is riveting, the characters, the storyline, the drama and the twists and turns that at no point did I see coming.
Jade and Quinn’s story took me on one heck of an emotional and gripping ride and I thoroughly enjoyed every moment!
I can’t wait to see what comes next from January!

Simply put this book is incredible. Nothing like I have ever read before. It was angsty, emotional, unpredictable, steamy and had my heart racing.

Man Eater - Jade & Quinn
⁸This was certainly a great read.
Jade did not have a happy childhood so when the death of her mum takes her to a strange place she is actually happy to be there, She spends the next four years being educated and trained to be a SIREN. A siren knows how to win her targets by way of seduction or whatever means necessary. Quinn is a successful billionaire who is Jade's next job. Jade is supposed to do whatever is necessary to ruin Quinn's life until she catches feelings and her morals start kicking in and she doesn't do as her employer wants her to do.
Will Jade and Quinn find their HEA.
This story is told in dual POV and is full of twists & turns with lots of passion and steamy scenes.

Wow wow wow! January James had be hooked with this story line. The concept of the Centre as a whole was beyond intriguing to me.
Jade is the FMC and she is so easy to relate to. Growing up with her mom, then in the Centre made her so strong and competent. She lives and breathes for her mission, she owes everything to the Centre. But at what point does a person say enough is enough?
I love the friendship that Jade made with Lyla while still in the Centre, that they stick together and are friends until the end.
Quinn is the male main character. Quinn is a business oriented, no nonsense type of guy. He’s an insomniac turned workaholic, who does everything he can to avenge his brothers death and be worthy of being the living twin. Quinn and Jade are up against the world to prove to themselves and everyone else that their feelings are real. When their love is threatened and someone is after them, will their love be enough to get them through?
Oh man! I’ve read all of January James novels, and hands down this is my favorite so far. The world she created with the Centre and its mission, and Quinn and Jade had be enamored. Wow, I just finished and absolutely enjoyed this book. Twists and turns and love were all encompassing!
Jade Bardot didn’t have the best start to life and found herself in the care of the Centre. She was raised and trained to take down important people and leave just as quietly as she entered.
Quinn Sullivan was a child prodigy and built a billion pound empire from the ground up himself.
Mix these two together and the sparks were flying.
I love me a good sexy book, but this was even better with all the plot twists and turns, and I didn’t see the end coming.
Thoroughly enjoyed this and it’s a must read. January has a way with her words and the story flowed smoothly for me. No complaints!

I always know its going to be a good read when it comes to January.
I wasn't disappointed with Man eater.

First off, as a mother of a rambunctious toddler, I was quite surprised at how fast I was able to get through this book! I actually forced myself to stay awake to keep reading because I was so entranced by the storyline and I couldn’t put it down. It was as if I needed to know what happened next, and I needed to know it by yesterday.
January spent a lot of time at the beginning building on character development for both Jade and Quinn, and it was so beneficial to the plot as readers are literally able to witness how both of the characters transform as soon as they meet. Jade is a firecracker of a woman with an enigmatic interior and I love just how strong-minded she is. January James mentioned that this book is the first in the series called “Femme Fèroces” and Jade is truly a representation of a fierce woman. Describing Quinn is a tad more difficult, as he definitely is not the man I assumed him to be. A lot of his character development is a result of meeting Jade and their interactions, but it was refreshing to read a book where both the male and female protagonists have an equal share in the “Alpha” role.
The relationship between Jade and Quinn is an interesting one. As a reader, we are given so much information that neither of them are privy to as characters, and every interaction between the two of them creates a sense of tension that enhances the plot line. As much as I appreciate the physical relationship between Jade and Quinn, I feel like a little more emphasis on emotional intimacy would have given more depth to their relationship. With that being said, it is understandable why the physical connection overpowers the emotional connection, simply because of who both Jade and Quinn are as characters and once you read it you will understand as well.
Without giving away anything, the ending was predictable (as are most romances), however, it was the plot that did me in. I was so intrigued with the way the storyline progressed and appreciated the twists and turns that kept me reworking through my theories up until the very end. I enjoyed the originality of the storyline as it wasn’t your typical “boy meets girl; they fall in love” kind of romance. Also, I definitely did NOT see that coming. I had many theories about how it would come together at the end, and despite working them over and over with all the twists, I am impressed with how none of them fit the bill.
I would definitely recommend reading “Man Eater” if you’re looking for a dramatic romance with a hint of suspense and mystery. January’s writing is so descriptive that it literally inserts you into the book yourself. Her attention to even the tiniest of details is what captured my attention at first, but it was how she riskily, yet confidently, approached those details that kept me reading.
Personally, this is the first book by January James that I have ever read, as she reached out via social media to offer a copy of “Man Eater” in exchange for an honest review, but I can definitely say it will not be the last of hers that I read. Colour me curious.

Quinn & Jade are everything. What a freaking journey! There was everything but at the same time I felt there was nothing, you know those kinda books that finish as soon as they start but actually have 200+ pages? YUP, THIS WAS EXACTLY THAT.
Quinn, my strict but so loving billionaire & Jade, my striving queen.
With Quinn & Jade, it wasn't insta love, nope, not at all, it actually was intoxicating attraction at the highest level, it was electric & as I reader I could feel it. The chemistry, guilt & helplessness was all amazingly shown to us.
I loved the different professions, one a Siren, the other a businessman. The ending, wowwww! For a split millisecond I did think of that to happen, but when it actually did I went "whaaaat!!!". *mind blown* Also, the mom was so mean, how can you even justify that? Like how???!
As for Alfie, I don't know what to say because at one point I actually liked that guy but then didn't & the end, well, you'll know if you read this. The chapter 9 almost goodbye scene, shittt! How intense!! ༎ຶ‿༎ຶ

Jade - when her mother’s death lands her in a strange place at first she’s so happy to be there. Her room is much nicer and cleaner than anywhere she’d ever slept before. She spends four years being educated and trained to do as is required of her. She learns the art of seduction and how to win a mans trust to find out all she needs to know. She grows to be a woman not to be messed with, until her job is Quinn Sullivan.
Quinn - CEO of his massive media company Quinn is a billionaire. He is a self admitted workaholic who barely sleeps. He doesn’t date, it wastes work time. His life is simple, he works. Until the woman walks into the bar and changes everything. He can’t get the beautiful woman out of his head and he has to have her. Luckily for him, she’s in the bar again and she’s clearly interested.
Is Jade feeling the same as Quinn or is it all an act?
Once again I’m blown away by another of this authors books. I’ve literally devoured it after receiving my copy yesterday. The storyline is so good and has a few spicy moments in there too. I loved the characters and the plot kept you pulled into Jade and Quinn’s stories bringing you to a twist at the end that I didn’t see coming. Another fantastic book that I was thrilled to be gifted.
If you love a romance with a bit of heat and thrills this is the book for you!

Is it possible for two broken souls to find each other and heal all thats dark? Why yes it is and Man Eater does just that.
This book is such an amazing read. I loved the Square Mile series but Man Eater is a gem of its own and I am so excited to read more of this new series. Its gritty, its seductive and I absolutely fell for its charms and devoured every last page.
Jade is thrown into a life without a choice and her strength to survive is admirable. Quinn is an anti social workaholic that you can’t help but love and together the sparks fly and its awesome. I loved the flash backs, the back story, and the growing relationship. The pull these two experience toward each other is the best, of course there is some inner struggle against that pull while these two journey to their happily ever after and it is all a complete page turner.
My one complaint is I wish the book was longer I wish I got more of Jade and Quinn together but I’m still left satisfied.
I rated this book 5 stars because:
Editing was great
the story was entertaining, addicting and a page turner.
I'm left wanting more and looking forward to the next books in the series.

Never in her wildest dreams could Jade imagine what her life would become. The young daughter of a drug addict mother she had a childhood no-one would want to live. This all changed one fateful day after a car accident she blames herself for. Waking up in a strange place Jade finds herself surrounded by comfort she couldn't imagine. Little did she know the cost that comfort would bring. From an uneducated child to a gorgeous Siren. She thought she was prepared for anything. Anything except her next brief. Quinn.
Quinn is a young billionaire and CEO of a global empire. Money, a fancy apartment, expensive cars, what more could a man want? He didn't know he wanted more until the girl in the green dress appeared in the bar he hid away in to work in an effort to stave off his insomnia.
She wasn't just a pretty girl. She was about to be his downfall or his Siren call.
This dual POV story was enough to steam up my kindle and keep me hooked til the very last word. An end which I never saw coming, even though I did have my suspicions that something wasn't adding up.

This book caught me by surprise and I really loved it. ❤

Quinn is a successful billionaire. He's a workaholic and has no time for dating until he meets Jade.
I loved the chemistry between Quinn and Jade. I loved the relationship they have. We see them grow and go up against everyone to prove that their feelings are real. ❤
The suspense portion of the story had me on the edge of my seat & the twists & turns there kept me wondering exactly how it would work out.

This book caught me by surprise and I really loved it. ❤
Jade had a rough childhood being raised by an addict. She had no education until her mom died. She was then taken and trained to be a Siren to take down successful men.
Quinn is a successful billionaire. He's a workaholic and has no time for dating until he meets Jade.
I loved the chemistry between Quinn and Jade. I loved the relationship they have. We see them grow and go up against everyone to prove that their feelings are real. ❤
The suspense portion of the story had me on the edge of my seat & the twists & turns there kept me wondering exactly how it would work out.

January James did it again. This story was intense from the start and I was hooked from the first page.
Jade had a rough childhood , growing up with a drug addict of a mother and no education till the day she was placed in a care of people who took better care of her. But that life was not all perfect when she was raised to be a siren, a con who would take people down with her betrayal. And as a part of her job she had no way of stopping it even when she gets assigned to ruin Quinn’s life. From the moment she first laid eyes on him she knew that this will be the hardest task she ever did because she should never feel anything ,and now while getting to know him she feel more in love than she thought was ever possible.
This story was absolutely brilliant with many twists and turns and lots of steamy scenes with an epic ending that I never saw it coming.
Thank you JJ for another amazing story and I would highly recommend it to everyone ❤️

Five stars of excellence January...
I sat glued to this book, I couldn’t stop reading as I needed to know everything.
A completely different storyline with characters that feel so very real.
Learning about Jade’s earlier life was heartbreaking, then being prepped as a “Siren” was written magnificently .
This happens I am sure , an intriguing life until she met Quinn.
A connection was formed from the first time they met , together they produced an aura of sensuality that developed into such passion that was to change their lifestyle for always.
Quinn’s life had been a challenge , as an elite business man always being the victor now everything is flowing downhill, fast!
His life is extremely interesting with twists and turns , wheeling and dealing, with a heart bigger than himself.
The last chapters blew me away as I had no idea ....

4 Stars! What a ride! I've never felt such a roller-coaster of emotions reading a book before!
The dual POV tells this dark, suspenseful story perfectly. Quinn's POV being in the present day, and Jade's starting with her childhood all the way up to the present, beautifully telling her heartbreaking yet fascinating backstory leading up to her life as a Siren. Can Jade successfully complete her mission without getting in too deep with the target? And will she ever truly be free again?
Without giving away any spoilers, this book is full of so much angst, love and scorching passion! I only knocked a star off as the conflict ended slightly too easily in my opinion. But still an amazing read that I just couldn't put down!
January James is a new author to me, and after Man Eater, I can't to see what she has in store in the future!

I was honoured to have had January James ask for my review. I had never read her work before and I am so glad she did. Because I was hooked right away!
The character-build, the steam, the plot twists and politics makes this a page-turner.
I love when a character grows throughout a story and this was definitely one of those incredible stories. We have Jade who is sucked into a life she never really asked for. Her strength and grit to survive was remarkable to read. Our Quinn - though, a workaholic who likes to keep to keep to himself and haven’t even yet discovered what he truly NEEDS. Until Jade.
I loved that we were able to see both POV and flashbacks. The backstories really helped me connect with the characters and how they dealt with their innermost issues. I loved the journey of Jade and Quinn and I wish the story was longer.
I loved the flash backs, the back story, and the growing relationship. The pull these two experience toward each other is the best, of course there is some inner struggle against that pull while these two journey to their happily ever after and it is all a complete page turner.

The story is steamy, angsty, a little dark, intense, suspenseful and addictive. The readers will be completely hooked right from the beginning. It has a strong FC and both the characters have sizzling chemistry between them. The story keeps on switching from past to present, gradually explaining its readers what had happened to the FC in the past. It's a little perplexing at the beginning but as the story progresses it the author makes it clearer to it's readers. The suspense revelation at the end will stun its readers. A highly recommended book for readers who like this genre.

I absolutely loved this book. It is a darker romantic suspense story that will have you on the edge the entire time. The story is told in both present day and the past. I did not have a problem following the story and only mention it because I know that some readers have an issue with that type of writing. Personally, I think it was the perfect way to tell this story and even with the back and forth the story flowed and had me hooked from the start. The characters are great and there is serious chemistry between them. The story has twists and turns that you will not see coming.
There is a good chance that January James is new author to you, but her books are definitely worth the change, especially this one.

Romantic suspense - I wasn’t sure what I was getting myself into with that combination but I must say I am definitely a fan! This book had all the steam of a romance but it was a mystery/thriller/crime drama as well!
Jade is a woman on a mission. Her mission is to ruin Quinn Sullivan. She doesn’t know why, or even who wants him ruined, but she’s being paid well to do it. Get close to him and then go in for the (figurative) kill. There’s just one problem. Quinn has made her feel - and she isn’t used to feeling.
Quinn is a young billionaire. He’s spent his life working to be the best he can be since his deceased brother was unable to have any life at all. Work is his life. Then one day, a chance encounter with Jade changes everything.
There are so many amazing parts to this book! It’s a heavier read, and it took me longer than I thought it would. It was amazing don’t get me wrong but the raw emotion was a bit much for me to read all in one sitting. I’d definitely recommend this one!

A must read
What a breath of fresh air!!! I was recently introduced to rh which cut my appetite for reading. This morning, I woke up early and decided to give it a go since I had nowhere to go due to lockdown. After a few pages, I literally couldn’t put it down. I just had to find out what happened next!!! The author, j.James, has written an incredible storyline - it reminded me of Hana - but it was far from it. I love all the characters and I sincerely hope it had a second and third book. I did feel the ending was a bit rushed but nevertheless, J.James is now my new favourite author!!😍 I can’t wait to see another one of her books!

Wow 😳 what a way to start a book. I was totally gripped from the get go! Jade’s background is so compelling to read along side Quinn’s present day POV.
When they catch up to each other the story is phenomenal 🤩 So much grit, angst & heartbreak. Jade is such a badass throughout.
I couldn’t get enough. It’s one of those stories you get so sucked into you don’t want to put it down but you also don’t want it to end!! I was seriously gripped, read it in a few hours! 🥰

I cannot get over how well you conveyed an completely twisted systemic situation.
Quinn and Made so needed each other, to learn to love, first their selves, then one another, they needed someone to break through the lack if emotional being both exhibited.
But wow, what a twisted journey, neither were responsible for their la know emotions, or feelings, both trapped into something by lies.
Even though I have given you readers some idea of this novel, allow me to tell you, you cannot imagine the ability this writer has, portraying characterization, setting, oh my, I could go in and on, suffice it to say, Ms. James is an amazingly strong and we'll crafted writer.
From the beginning you will be drawn in and unable to stop until the very end, which is so perfect!
Loved every moment! A read that truly has you thinking! Awesome!
