Chaos: Book 1 of 3

Love can be quite... Chaotic.

June Willows and Henry Allen made quite the first impression when they met under stressful circumstances.

Henry became spiteful and vengeful after June mustered up the courage to put the tall Caucasian male in his place. Henry believed June to be a mouthy little ebony that needed to be knocked down a few notches. He planned to make her pay for bruising his ego. His plan goes out the window after he realized she was not at all what he thought, but an innocent and delicate person. His misconceived notion of her being another angry black woman, completely erased, and he confronted by his feelings about her. He learned about this feeling he's never had before and would do anything to keep it, to keep... her.

June was trying to navigate life and prove to herself and others that she can take on the world on her own. June has lived a life of being the baby in all of her friend and family relationships, and she will not have Henry playing with her feelings. Faced with danger, love, and confusion, June keeps her chin up, her heart guarded, and eventually, her secret from Henry protected from the danger that comes with being loved by Mr. Henry Allen.

June is a 22 year old recent college grad about to start her first day at her new job when her brakes on her car fails and she runs into rich white millionaire named Henry. Henry threatens to throw June in jail if she doesn’t pay for his custom Maserati to be fixed. Facing financial ruin due to all her debt June with the help of her bestie Dana decides to sell her virginity to the highest bidder. To June’s surprise her anonymous bidder is Henry who buys her for a week.

I’ll start off by saying that the author does a great job of making June a full character she’s not just some shy recent college graduate but a smart Black woman who knows her worth and is skeptical of Henry. Her character is really refreshing and she’s not naive which is rare for these types of books.

I had two issues with this book. The first one is with the character Henry, he’s not fleshed out enough. He’s a clear racist in the beginning of the book even to the point where his family is says he’s a racist. No white man gets over racism in a few days or months without putting in the work. You don’t see that at all in this story just that he’s so in love with June that he’s obsessed with her. He doesn’t want to live his life without her. My second issue is how this person who was threatening them was handled it was a major plot of the book but is resolved in one or two sentences like the author just wanted to wrap up a major plot point and move on.

Now some may have issue with the age difference between the two characters (he’s 38) but it works because she’a not written like a 22 year old. I think the author should have made her a little older or him younger. She’s written like an older more accomplished woman in her late 20s.

Overall, this was a good first effort and I look forward to reading more of this series.

Relentless Love

Love has no color, sometimes it came it small little package of a slip a beautiful woman that the very opposite of your so called “type “. Henry Allen was en route to a meeting at his company when June Willows lost control of her old camry and hit Mr Allen’s custom made luxury Maserati … SACRILEGE! lol …
well Mr Privilege as June called him wasn’t happy, but Fate was busy placing these two together…
Things will get pretty interesting and complicated…too many twists and turns to explain; get your copy, get a drink and be ready to be enthralled by Henry & June’s journey, the characters will keep you entertained.

ps. They both need to learn how to communicate… be transparent, David’s shouldn’t happened…

Five Blazing🔥💥⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐For Henry & June

I read the 📕mixed reviews so I wasn't sure what to expect.🤔 I was pleasantly surprised how much I enjoyed Chaos & so happy I bought the trilogy👐. To say Henry & June started out rocky is a gross understatement, but the story evolved into an exciting, super 🌶🌶🌶🌶🌶🔥🔥🔥romance with twists& turns that felt like an unexpected 30 feet drop on a rollercoaster😲On to 📚2 to meet Henry's Identical twin David , who seems like he is the devil incarnate😄Happy reading🍷

I can’t

June is to whiny. I made myself finish this book too see who was trying to kill them. I did a lot of eye rolling, while reading this book, cause of June and all her unnecessary crying. It was just too much, crying and passing out during sex. Crying, just crying about any and everything. I will not read the rest of this series, I just can’t with all her damn whining and crying.

Sexy, Feisty, and Funny

This is a great story, I don’t know who I like more June or Dana, I love a badass women. I’m all for the sexual play, I don’t know how I feel about David pulling a switch, that’s not cool. Love 💕 Junes brothers with the way they ban together to protect her. Was going to give it 4 stars, because of David & Henry not saying anything, but it do deserve a 5 star it really, really good.

Interesting and a lot of ups and downs with June and Henry. The author keeps you guessing what will happen next. Gave 4 stars because I want to know what happens next in Chaos 2.

Interesting story

This is a new author for me. I will keep reading the series, but not sure I like some aspects of either family. June at times is so strong, but other times not understanding how to really work through things. David is already on my I don't like list.

Hot Mess!

This was an affront to my romantic heart! To release a book with such bad editing, disjointed storylines, sad characters and no romance…just made me angry!
