I found this book to be too basic of a review for my graduate and medical school cell biology courses but if you need a good refresher of some of the basics, it is good for that. When I compare this to my undergrad cell biology class, I probably could have earned a B or low A with this text but for anything more advanced, I’m not sure this would be sufficient.
Very good overview of Cell and Molecular Biology. This would be a good introductory textbook for anyone interested in this diverse topic. I really enjoyed reading this book and the numerous included visuals made it really easy for me to visualize the mechanisms just referenced in text.
A nice collection of big ideas in molecular biology represented in a meaningful way. Not a comprehensive book, but definitely a great starting point for molecular biology which can be suggested for medical students who want to gain a sound knowledge about this comprehensive field of study. This book also gives you better ideas when it comes to pharmacy, biochemistry, oncology, the process of aging, etc...
The best thing about this book is that it's suitable and easy for students to understand. It's don't make the already difficult subject more difficult. I love it
