MATHEW 5:28 Thou shalt not commit adultery. But I say unto you, that whosoever looketh on a woman to lust after her, hath committed adultery with her already in his heart.
Tirus Hampton is ready to risk it all just to feel good. A rich man with everything at his fingertips, it's hard for him to stay satisfied. Asking his wife to add a third to their table for two, Tyrus prays he can have his cake and eat it too. But will his request cause that very same table to come crashing down?
Psychology Professor, Semaj Hampton, loves her husband, but not enough to share him. She also isn’t the least bit interested in sweating her hair out, or anything that requires her to do more than lay on her back. But one drunken night, things change, and Semaj unleashes an insatiable side to her that her husband can’t satisfy alone. Will this new awoken side cause her to take him up on his offer?
A Psychology student at Texas A&M, Chasity, is just as pure as her name. Living with her violent, alcoholic father, she isn't used to the feeling of being valued. But with just one taste of attention, she’s desperate to keep it.
In this drama filled standalone novel, betrayal, sexual tension and LUST is at an all time high. Are you ready for a taste of desire there’s no pulling back from?
I liked it. It started off good and kept my attention. There were a few inconsistencies and errors but I don’t tend to harp over stuff like that or grammar if it’s not out of control. I felt like a lot was missing in the end though. There was no real conclusion for me.
What happened to Semaj’s over bearing mother? Did her family not have anything to say about her death and spiral?
If Chasity’s aunt came around out the blue, nobody is begging for money or anything anymore when it was hinted that, that’s why they were showing up.
Why is she living with Brashay and Jonah if she’s rich?
After watching Semaj go down hill from her overly lustful ways, ending it with her stripping for attention seems a little backwards and counter productive in growth. Idk, it just seemed lacking at the end for me to be a full standalone. Over all it was an interesting read, and so liked the spin on the 7 deadly sins part.
I think this was a fantastic standalone! Chasity had a rough life until Samaj and Tirus rescued her and introduced her to better things in life. Made you wonder if they really wish she was their child until all the sexual tensions occurred. Tirus should have had Semaj checked out by a fertility Dr years ago and he wouldn't have wasted so much time in their relationship. Yeah, he was wrong having an affair with her best friend for sure because that's not right on any level. She was nuts too! Now the momma had a lot of nerve trying to take over their relationship and run their home, she needed to mind her own business! Chasity was really simple minded and easily manipulated because she really didn't have a clue on sexuality or relationships outside of what Brayshia showed her due to her father's controlling and abusive ways. I didn't expect things to happen the way they did but I just knew something bad was going to happen. No spinnoff needed here.
Kayla Isaac and D'Artanya did an amazing job with this book. I see why lust is one of the seven deadly sins. I hate he had a be the one to die tho. On the outside looking in Tirus and Semaj had the perfect marriage. Tirus needing more from his wife in the bedroom led him astray, which in trying to be better for him led he astray also. Being they both had affairs with the same people, Kia and Chasity they decided a poly relationship with Chasity would do the trick. It did for a while but Tirus had created a monster. Semaj had done lost her ever loving mind. Her mama really got on my nerves. I'm glad Chasity's dad got himself together after all he put Chasity through. This was an amazing read and I highly recommend it.💓💓
Omg ! Where do I even begin ?!! This book had me on my toes from start to finish, I fell in love with ALL the characters, except Gloria ole messy tail . I would have love for all character to make it to the end BUT I won’t ruin it on telling y’all WHO didn’t make it , this book unpacked A lot , it will definitely have you thinking twice before falling in “Lust” with someone . I
This was a great book! I was hoping Tirus found out about Semaj going to the sex club. Then, she had sex with Keegan, Tirus' best friend. Semaj really did show her true colors when she lost her baby. She wasn't pregnant by Tirus anyway; she was pregnant by Keegan. I wish that would have come out in the book. I hate that Tirus had to die. It was still a great book!
This book was deep lustful reading. It took me on a ride no doubt. But I truly enjoyed it no doubt. I'm not going give the book away. Because it I start talking about there will be no end and I will be told it all. Just get it and read it I promise you will love it. And you want want to put it down til the very last page and still be wanting more. Lata
I loved this book from beginning to end and I must say once I started reading I couldn’t put it down. I’ve never read a book like this but I just say I can’t wait to read some more.
This was really good! So much drama, sex, craziness I was blown away! Kept my attention… would definitely recommend. I need to read more from Kayla and D’artanya
That is the reason why you don't invite people into your relationship. Semaj had snapped and lost her mind. She just lost it because she thought her husband didn't love her. Good r
