An Outstanding Story!!!!!!

This was the first book I have read by SK Prince and let me say I am so very intrigued by this series. How is possible more people do not know about it. This book was so good. We meet up with Meira and she is taken into custody and has no idea why. No one answers her questions and just leaves her the dark about everything. I really liked Meira and her personality. She is sweet and kind as well as seems to care with her whole heart. We meet a lot of interesting side characters where some are ok but others not so much. It has a lot of drama, suspense, with a bit of action and humor. It is a quick read but quickly draws you in and keeps you glued to it. I honestly couldn’t put it down. We end in a pretty big cliffhanger and I cannot wait to see what happens next.

2.5 étoiles. Je suis perplexe.
Ce 1er tome est intense en émotion car on sent toute la peine et l'anxiété de l'héroïne qui se pose des questions sur sa propre identité tout au long. Le récit n'est que de son point de vue et on est aussi perdue qu'elle face aux évènements. Le fait que l'histoire se passe en huis clos ajoute une touche d'angoisse.
Et en même temps il ne se passe pratiquement rien. On ne sait pratiquement rien. On ressort de là encore plus perdu. Et il y a peu d'interactions entre les personnages donc difficile de dire s'ils sont gentils ou méchants. Et cela se termine sur un petit cliffhanger ... Alors forcément on a envie de lire la suite pour comprendre ce qui se passe !

Oh my gosh. I want to believe I know so much more about Meira and her world than I did before I started this book, but I realize how much I still don’t know. And seeing everything from Meira’s viewpoint means that we know as much about what’s going on as she does. In other words, even at the end it’s still not a whole heck of a lot. It’s a sudden and abrupt cliff we’re left hanging from when this book closes, and I’m desperate to find out what’s really going on. I’m so grateful I’m reading this when all the books of the series have been published and I can immediately dive into the next one. I might have committed violence if I’d had to wait for book two to be released.

Meira moved to a new town called Sweetwater it’s now her home and it feels right Meira works in a hairdressing salon everyone loves her rainbow coloured hair she’s also an artist who paints with the colours of the rainbow. Meira has great intuition there were men in black all around the town then this new woman comes into the salon yeah somethings going on this woman makes her nervous and she acts like she is scared of Meira. I loved this story and I can’t wait to read book 2 and I highly recommend this book it’s well worth the read.

Holy cow!!

Wow... this book was fantastic and so different. Meira is living her best life now that she's in Florida living in sunshine. She's doing her best artwork and the colors she's doing for people's hair is amazing. Except now she's been taken hostage by a group who claim she is some type of rainbow light mage and seriously dangerous. Can't wait to continue this series!

Meira is a hair artist. She's very talented. While she was at the salon a bunch of people rush in and take her prisoner.She is thrown in with an assortment of supernaturals and a doctor who experiments on her to figure out exactly what she is. This book was exciting but twisted. It has a lot going on in this story. I couldn't wait to read this book. I loved every minute of it.

This series is off to an intriguing start where our female mc is a hairstylist who thinks she is as ordinary as you and me but then gets kidnapped and thrown in Prison and she doesn’t know why. Suspenseful & mysterious as we try to figure out what our mc Meira could possibly be! It’s an interesting series that I look forward to reading more.

What in the what is going on.....

I mean, I'm gripped because i want to know what is going on. Interesting take with this plot, but you're just as much in the dark as the main character.

It would have been better with pov of the two guys, if only to fill in the reader on what the facility is and what their role is etc. Add a bit more background to the story.

Interesting

I'm not sure about this book. A couple of times I thought about changing books. But I always finish what I start. I have so many questions and it is a little slow. I'm hoping things pick up in book 2.

Well written though it is a little slow to start with. The suspense and mystery surrounding what Meira is kept you reading until you found out. A "despised" cliffhanger. Can't wait for book 2.

No explanation

You like the character are left in the dark this entire story. No explanations given, nothing just darkness. Explanations don't ruin a storyline. We aren't in your head give us more to be able to want to keep reading.
