What a powerfully written devotional. I found it inspiring , full of revelations, insights and very useful tips to help women in marriage, relationships and their desire to really be close to God as a friend. I thoroughly enjoyed Sarah's thoughts. It was unique as Sarah talks to women like she is still present with us using her own life as a woman, wife, mother and a step mother. It was very honest, humorous and open and it reminded me of our human nature and tendency to doubt, get jealous, etc but still be loved by God. This is a devotional that not only teaches, enlightens and encourages with the prayers and apt scriptural verses given but also,providing revealing facts from a refreshing perspective about the characters mentioned and the significance of certain incidents in their lives. For example, Abraham's understanding of 'seed' page 120 - 121. Readers will be blessed as much as I was to read the significance of the name change of Abraham and the circumcision for our lives as christians. Women will see all aspects of womanhood in this devotional. Sarah was so close to Abraham and was able to use his relationship and experiences with God to draw lessons for the benefit of women today. The message in 'Dear Friends'on page 184 -186 is profound and a must read.
I was blessed by this devotional and I recommend it as a blessing to women of faith.

Nice devotional to stop and ponder about God's word and its meaning for us today. I like thoughts of mother Sarah up to the time before she died, but when it appears after her death, and she was talking from paradise I don't like it. It suggested that we could talk with dead ones, and God forbid it.
