I’m seriously in love with how this author writes. He weaves storylines with creativity and heart, kick ass action, slow burn romance and a deeply satisfying amount of snark. I binge read the series, hoping the next book would be just as good as the last, and I wasn’t disappointed at all. Just sorry it took me so long to discover him.
If you don’t appreciate the magic of Star Wars or understand wounded inner children or how sarcasm & humor can be both a communication tool & a defense mechanism… best just keep on walking. But if you’re a lifelong fan of George Lucas, LOTR, or anxiously awaiting the next installment of Murderbot Diaries, this will definitely be your jam.
I listened as an audiobook, and the voice actor was superb. At the end, the author thanked the readers & I swear I almost cried. So, he’s now firmly ensconced on my favorites list. Thanks Luke, I really enjoyed this ride & I’m looking forward to the next series.
