Lana has yet another quest thrust upon her, this time Bub wants to tag along and who'd have thought he'd be the one eager to quit.
This time around Lana finds herself in the mortal realm in modern day Egypt. In her quest to find an ancient talisman she faces deadly tomb traps, hellcats (of course), uncomfortable modes of travel (where's a travel coin when you need one), poison beer and a whingeing consort to be.
Having read all of the previous Lana Harvey books I was eager to read this one and I wasn't disappointed. This is the second in the spin off series and Angela brings her characters to life (or should that be death) and creates a world that draws you in and makes you keep turning the page for 'just one more chapter'.

Lana and Bub go on a treasure hunt.
Isis an Egyptian goddess approaches Lana with a job offer. There is a talisman of hers hidden away in a secret tomb deep in the Egyptian desert. Isis wants Lana to retrieve the talisman for her, a simple task on the face of it especially when Anubis is conscripted to act as her guide. But once in Egypt things begin to go wrong, betrayed by someone they should have been able to trust they are now in race against time as someone is determined to resurrect Seth and they need Isis's talisman to complete the ritual.

We're headed to Egypt!
I love Lana, Bub, Lana AND Bub, the pups, and the whole afterlife universe Angela has crafted! This is a great addition to all that! I also love that Bub is right in the middle of the action and Lana gets to kick some serious butt all over Egypt. I can't wait until her next adventure!

Great Series😍
Loving this Series plus the earlier one and so looking forward to the next book.
Angela's books take me a way from this World and places me in the intriguing / fascinating world of Lana.

I love the Lanaverse HOWEVER where is book three on Amazon? You can pre-order books four and five but not three. Anyone knows what's up with that?

Great read
I just love Lana and that she's moving up in the afterlife. Even if it's done while she's dragging her feet.

An enjoyable read
Another excellent book in this series. A well written and fast paced storyline that I couldn't put down. Can't wait for the next book. Highly recommend.
