It started with an Obsession… We knew from the moment we saw her that she would be ours, and we used all of our means of Seduction to prove it to her... However, with our way of life comes trouble. It didn’t matter how much Devotion we had, it wasn’t enough to keep her safe, and now we’re here. We’re fighting for our lives and everything we never knew we’d have. Because at the end of the day, she’s our only concern. Our Salvation in a dark world, and a second chance at life in ways that shouldn’t have been possible for the seven of us. The question now is…can we be her Salvation too? Or will we lose her to the darkness that consumes us? *** Love is the ultimate sacrifice. I would die for any of the people I love, but now I have to fight. I have to fight to survive this last battle so we can have our happily ever after. It’ll be a dark and unusual one, but in the end, I wouldn’t have it any other way. They keep telling me I’m their Salvation, but I don’t think they realize just how much that’s true from my perspective too. They gave me the chance to stop running. For Dad and I to have a life. Unlikely alliances will help us end the turmoil that has rocked my entire life, and we WILL make it out alive. There is no other option. *This is book 4 in a 4 book series that must be read in order.* **Dark romance with stalking, dub/con, non/con and much much more. Read TW before attempting to read this series!!** ***This is a reverse harem where the main character ends up with 3+ men. In this case, 7. If that isn’t your thing then this series is not the right one for you. This series also contains M/M scenes and relationships within the harem.***
I can’t handle the MFC, the guys are way more interesting, she’s just obnoxious. I mean I still read all 4 books because 🤷🏻♀️, but any time it’s her POV or her talking I cringe. She’s always yelling, threatening, demanding, and being a brat. She’s so immature it’s just blah.
Warning ⚠️: Kidnapping, mentions of SA, mentions of torture, killing
Salvation is the final book in the Deadly Seven series. I was stoked to read this, especially after the cliffhanger of the previous book.
I loved the ending to this series, there is a lot going on, plenty of humour, steam, and action, and is wrapped up nicely. There's both an epilogue and bonus one, which gives a fantastic future HEA that will leave you both smiling and teary that the crazy adventure is over.
I especially liked the relationship between Mathias and Haliee, so much emotion and love.
The only thing I could "complain" about was that any torture scenes weren't on page, but left to the reader's imagination. I would have loved to have witnessed it...but that's just my greedy black heart crying out for more.
I very much enjoyed this series and would recommend it to those who enjoy RH, some crazy guys, and darker romances.
“We love you too, Angel. You and this baby are our entire universe.”

⭐️: 4/5 🌶: 5/5

What a freaking conclusion to the Deadly Seven series!! I’ve been reading this series since book 1, and this conclusion did not disappoint!
Haliee and her crazy men were back again to finally end things once and for all with Dimitri’s dad. And they did it with the surprising help of Dimitri himself. I swear, Creed and Corden had me cracking up so much in this book. Creed because the man is a true a psychopath and the crap he would say was just….you had to laugh. Corden because his pranks were too much, and the fact that after all this time, everyone still doesn’t believe Hope is a hellcat.
My question now is: are we going to be seeing Kristen’s story next??
If you read the first three books and loved ALL of the psychotic characters (seriously, not a sane one in the bunch), then you’re going to love this one too, so go ahead and add Salvation to your TBR!!
Confession: I read the first 19% and skimmed the last 33%.
Hailee is a special breed of annoying character. She goes through whiny and what the men consider to be sexy angry (but mostly is just more whiny-ness) in every chapter. Reading about a pregnant woman (especially while pregnant myself) was very meh. There's so much about pregnancy in pop culture books/movies that is ridiculous when compared to real life-- had to eye-roll every time Hailee conveniently threw up to move the plot forward.
RH of 7 guys, and they all start to kind of blend in with each other- I don't mind violence in stories (hey, I made it this far to finish the story, right?) but every character perspective alternates between being violent or horny.
I may have skipped most of the book, but I don't feel like I missed anything.
I really tried. I tried so hard that I actually read all 4 books. I will never get that time back. If you're looking for - Childish * kind of stupid * outrageous * are you kidding me moments Then this is the book/series for you. Good luck.
I’m so sad this series is over. I’m going to miss these characters so much but these author’s definitely did an incredible job with the ending. The book was packed full of action, wild shenanigans and tons of steam. Between the war with Dimitri’s dad and Haliee’s pregnancy everyone is on their toes and emotions are high. But it doesn’t take away from the love and care the guys have for Haliee and you see how much she truly loves them all when they get in trouble. One of the things I love about this series is even though the harem is bigger than other books, you don’t have any characters get left out. All the characters got to voice their stories and find their closure in the end.
Of course it wouldn’t be a deadly seven book without some laugh out loud moments. We were introduced to the ghost brothers, Liam and Donovan last book and I was so glad they got a big part in this one. Then we have the steam and honestly I would read this series for that alone. Some of these scenes had me straight up panting. While I’m sad this series is over, but I am happy with the ending. It was such a perfect send off to the crazy but lovable deadly seven and their girl. I’m going to miss these characters so much. Queen Hope and Daddy Brent included.
Salvation is book #4 in The Deadly Seven series. It's a Dark reverse harem, make sure to check the trigger warning!!
I've been hooked on this series since book #1 and this was the perfect conclusion to this group's story!
We pick up where we left off, and it's non stop action all the way to the end. Haliee, Creed, Ollie, Torren, Lukas, Matthias, Corden and Barren will keep you on the edge of your seat, sometimes cracking up laughing, sometimes wanting to cry, and you might need to keep a fan handy for these spicy scenes 😉😉
I love this series so much and I'm so sad its over. That epilogue had me wanting to cry happy tears tho!!!
Salvation wrapped up the series beautifully. If you haven't read these books yet, you really should!!
Thank you Cassie and Story for these amazing characters and this incredible story!!!
This series! I can’t believe it’s over! I absolutely loved the entire thing. This book wrapped up the series so nicely. It was dark, sexy, and funny. Oh my gosh was this book funny. Some of the things I probably shouldn’t have laughed at but I know that was these amazing authors point 😂.
All of these men are fantastic. I loved getting to know Torren more in depth and Creed…sigh…he’ll forever be my little psycho. Haliee remains so strong and she’s fallen right into place among her men.
I cannot wait for Dimitri, Liam, Donovan and Kristen’s book. It’s going to be epic and I just want more of Liam and Donovan honestly.
If you haven’t read this series y’all you need to. It’s everything we want in a dark reverse harem.
Be still my little black heart! This book was everything I wanted it to be and more! Salvation is book four of The Deadly Seven series and the final book of Haliee’s story. It was the perfect ending to the perfect series!
Book four picks up where book three ended at Haliee’s abduction. It starts with action and continues throughout the entire book! I loved Haliee and her sassy attitude that she gives everyone. She doesn’t take crap from anyone, including her guys! And the guys are perfect and do everything in their power to protect her and their baby.
This book has action, suspense, mystery, drama, romance, secrets, revenge, spice and ends in the best happily ever after! The only bad thing is having to say goodbye to some of my favorite characters! I really hope we get a book about Kristen and her guys and I’d love to see Brent get a HEA! Thank you Cassie and Story for an epic series and characters that I will never forget!
I think this did a good job of wrapping everything up, and tying off certain storyline’s really well. That said I was a bit disappointed by this book, I loved the series and this book just didn’t live up to my expectations for the series ending. Haliee was really annoying at the start, she was like an exaggeration of pregnancy mood swings in a really irritating way. I felt like most of the characters became exaggerated versions of themselves in this book, and it kind of ruined it for me. That said I still really enjoyed the series so it’s still 3 stars, or more like 2.5 but Im rounding up.
Wow, what an intense ride! This was a fantastic ending to the Deadly Seven series. So much action and spice, and a fabulous resolution to the over-arcing plot, with plenty of twisty turns!
Lots of spice, action, and emotional moments. I love how each of the guys has his own voice and there is a balanced division of time spent with Haliee and each POV. Definitely plenty of violence, as is true to the rest of the series. Haliee continues to hold her own in every scenario.
The personal growth each character goes through gets deeper and deeper in each book, and this was no exception. I’m sad that their story is over, but I enjoyed the whole ride and the ending was perfection.
Loved the story from the very beginning. This review Is all included for the series.
Reverse harem, seven boys/men and one young girl find love and and happiness. Haliee and her father have been on the run, in FBI protection. They have changed their names and still have to hide from the man who wants her and hasn't given up on catching her for himself. The boys/men are from broken families who have been abused and beaten down literally.
This review is all included for the four book series.
I absolutely loved this book, it’s 4/4 in this series and I’m actually sad it’s come to an end. It’s full of sass from Haliee and absolute chaos from the seven. I mean when you have a book with seven men what do you expect! It’s a perfect end to the series.
It’s got everything you could possibly want romance, revenge, twists and turns, some very interesting group scenes and entertaining moments. Haliee is such a sassy strong main character and she finally gets her happy ending.
I could happily pick this book up and read the whole series again it never lacks a dull moment
The last book in the series did not disappoint! The beginning was a bit slow, and there are still redundancies through out, but I love these characters.
Haliee has been kidnapped and the guys found out her secret which makes them even more possessive and protective. The spice level is right on point. So glad I read this!
This was a great conclusion to the series! I enjoyed the spice and steam, and some moments were so over the top I couldn't stop laughing. Definitely a great series, but now I need her bestie to get one!
Okay, I waited a day to write this review because I wanted to get my thoughts together and not just scream into the abyss.
Let's start with our main character Haliee (sp). I am so disappointed in this character and her development or lack there of that I had to take a day to chill out. We start this series with a virgin girl looking for love and affection she hasn't had due to her upbringing. We get a mild look into her ability to protect herself and she is relatively a pretty calm and even character who is timidly making her way in a new world with the guys. She stays this way for the first 2 books and then decides to be a whiny bitchy tyrant who all of a sudden throws knives like an assassin? What? They make her into a pain in the ass who rules everyone's life. I swear if I had a shot for every time the woman screamed at the main characters in a childish temper tantrum in this book I'd be dead. They destroyed this character and her development and it ruined any liking I had for this series.
Now let's talk about the guys. I have made this argument throughout the series that if you can't fully give 7 guys back ground stories, character growth and depth then you should do a reverse harem with 3-4 guys not 7. I feel like throughout all four books we barely get to know Barren and Corden. Why do they exist? And by the end I feel like Lukas is even a stand-in. Tor, Ollie, Creed and Matty are the main focus and should have just been the only characters. They by the end are the ones she spends her time and energy on.
Speaking of men. I'll ask for the fourth book as well as the series. Why do we have Brent's pov? Did you have a word count? Like the man only ever says. *I'm devoted to my daughter, good thing she loves 7 men, and I wish I didn't know they were banging". We get nothing else. Not how he handled the early days nothing.
And last but definitely not the least of the reasons this entire series went down the toilet. Dimitri and this plot..... This is a four book series, and for two whole books Dimitri is the bad guy, we get his pov where clearly he is the bad guy.....then the writer decides just kidding there is a whole Network of big bads he's keeping her safe from. And just kidding he doesn't love her it's her friend now. And somehow we get another impromptu harem.......and somehow the guys go from just local batman types to super skilled combat killers, Tech guys, and sharp shooters? This progression made no sense. And suddenly ending the Dimitri storyline and making a new bad guy and being "a little sister" to him was just bad writing. And lastly....I know people have babies to make relationships better but authors should know random pregnancy does not make the book better. If we had meaningful relationships, clear character development, a plot anywhere remotely good then a baby for the group would be great. But a book and a half of pregnant annoying horrible character not so much. The epilogue that says 4 kids in 4 years? What? And they magically have careers and money? Just....God this series disappointed me.
This entire review has been hidden because of spoilers.
I’ve loved every minute of this series .Salvation is right at the top of my best reads of the year and it’s going to take something epic to knock it off top spot . There’s twists and turns , happy and sad and giggles and full on snorting with laughter scenes where the tears were rolling down my face and my iPad took the brunt of my snorting laughter. I’m not going to go into any details about the book you just need to read it now and if you’ve not started this series now is the time as this is the final book of the Deadly Seven.
AUDIOBOOK June 2nd 2023 I was so happy and laughed at almost all this book. What with pen1s feet , d1ck darts and Kristen beating on Dimitri as well as the ghost brothers leaving Corden at the mercy of Hope the demon cat , I dare you to listen without laughing.
Haliee and Kirsten have been taken. Lukas, Torren, Mathias, Creed, Oliver, Corden and Barren, including Brent, Dimitri, Liam and Donovan are on the war path, a plan is formulated to rescue both girls, strategies put in place to ensure they are rescued safely and they are, but for them this is the beginning of the end.
Haliee loves all of her men as they love her, and they prove it to her in there own way, there control, dominance and possessiveness know no bounds but they love her feistiness, and being pregnant, her hormones and mood swings have them on edge, for a very good reason, her guys just can’t seem to stay out of trouble.
Dimitri comes to the realisation that what The Deadly Seven feels for Haliee, he doesn’t feel the same in return, and where Haliee is concerned they are in mutual agreement, Haliee having an ally in her corner should her guys not treat her right.
Brent is still wrapping his mind around the fact that his daughter is pregnant and that she is in a relationship with seven guys. All Brent wants for his daughter is her happiness, and she has found it with her seven guys, there are certain things a father doesn’t want to be privy to in regards to his daughters s*x life, they’re not ashamed, and every once in a while they like to stir him up, all apart of keeping it real.
With the threat still looming, Haliee continues to live her life, getting back into routine, normalcy, and when Kristen finally confronts her feelings for Dimitri it thaws out some of the tension that she’s been feeling.
Haliee comes to learn more about her guys, some of them sharing with her there traumas of there past, and through there retelling she comforts them through the worst, never once judging them for what they’ve gone through.
Haliee continues to prove her worth, still not afraid to stand up for herself, in standing up to them and calling them out, her jealousy and instant turn on for her men, continuing to develop there love language further.
Haliee loves her men fiercely, as fiercely as they love her. Haliee has bloomed, her confidence soaring, owning her s*xuality, knowing her limits and boundaries, wants and needs, enjoying the immense pleasure each of her men bring her.
But that all changes when they finally serve there brand of justice, some of the guys don’t come out unscathed, but they finally get the long awaited closure they deserve, the victims avenged, moving forward with self-healing from the trauma they have endured.
Please head the trigger warnings in this book.
This book has it all made men, alpha dominant, controlling and possessive men, one woman who gives as good as she gets, murder, vengeance, revenge, madness, mayhem, duplicity, back stabbing, twists, turns, excitement, drama, heightened emotions, laugh out loud moments, love, trust, truths and betrayal.
Get ready to be taken on an exhilarating ride, this book will have you on the edge of your seats, because there are moments that will make you laugh, make you gasp, have you feeling shocked and saying what!
The dual POV’s told a telling story, capturing me from start to finish. These authors know how to write and I’ll be back for more.
And those MM, MF, MFM, MFMM and MFMMMMM s*x scenes, were steamy, it had all the angry angst, hate, pleasure and passion one would except, when you have seven guys that aim to give both pleasure and pain, there need for control and dominance, it was off the charts and had all of the feels.
Cannot believe that this is the end of there story, but all good stories must come to and end, with the birth of there daughter Serenity, they got there happily ever after including that bonus epilogue into there future was bittersweet and oh so perfect, and one very well deserved for them all.
I'm always amazed how people can write whole stories, use their imagination, and try to bring the reader into the writer's world.
I have read all 4 of these books and the first one interesting. I love a reverse haram poly life story that gets my brain and my body sizzling a bit. This series twinged at my brain and gave my body a tingle. The body part is because I'm a well-read smüt-lover sort of reader. So, I've read some incredibly raunchy and randy scenes, sometime even featuring a Randy. So a tingle is acceptable on this story along with the author's note stating that this sory is in a slightly different direction than her usual stories.
The Mind portion was less than a twinge and more like a wave that changes with each chapter. At times I would be interested in the characters and their stories. Other times, I felt like a "Karen" constantly getting caught up on editing corrections. Or how many times conversations between characters were 85% "yelling or screaming" at each other and the redundancy of phrases throughout the whole story. I was also thrown off by the abrupt insertion of the two brothers, Kristen and her ill-informed drama, along with the extra players on the "bad" side. The whole story felt rushed in my mind and empty. I did enjoy Conn getting chased by Hope, and him "fighting bears". The last chapter on Conn's perspective was sweet.
Again, I am not a writer and my opinions may not matter to most, and nor do I write these opinions to harm or humiliate anyone, but I am a reader and if I was ever brave enough to place my work out for other's to see and judge I would greatly appreciate a honest review.
Keep writing, and I'll keep reading.
P.S. I did order the book thats recommended by Hailee in THIS book. I can't wait to see what the "ladder" scene is all about 😏
Guys...this book was spectacular and breathtaking!!! It was the perfect ending to the series and I really wished that it never ended!! I do want to mention that there are trigger warnings that you should check out before reading. This book is a bit dark but sooo good!! I love dark shiii so if you are even a little skeptical, you should definitely check out the trigger warnings. Salvation does have a list of the trigger warnings at the beginning of the book, so that should help! 🖤 Now for the good stuff!!! 😈 Salvation is the fourth and final book of The Deadly Seven series. It starts off where Devotion left off and jumps right into the action! I'm not into giving spoilers so I'm not going to mention what happened in any of the last books or this one. But what I will say is that these authors threw down on these books. Salvation had moments that awed and others that made my mouth drool. Can you guess which ones those were? 😈 Haliee and her men (all delicious seven of them) have a lot going on and go through some more. There were moments that were so hilarious that my kids and the people around me, thought I was crazy or something. lol This book was definitely amazeballs!! The spice in this book was real. There was so much love between these characters that it just makes this harem addicting to read. I use to have favorite men in this harem, but now they all have my black heart. Mathias and Lukas more so but that's because of the kinks I have for them. 😈 Going back to the ending, that ending was everything and more. Shoot, this whole series was everything. I loved how the authors added the bonus epilogue. I really enjoyed this book and hope you enjoy it just as much! 🖤 Happy Reading!! 😈 🖤Christian O.🖤
**Please note: I try not to spoiler or reveal too much, but I can not guarantee it.**
So, it's finally over. For this book, I needed the longest and had to have breaks. In fact, I read two other books, because I got stuck with this one. As I said in the review for book 3, after the mystery was gone, I wasn't as invested as I was before.
And a huge part of the book is about sexual attraction and sexy times (a lot!). Over one to three chapters, only change the point of view, they get going about that. I'm really not against smutty scenes. And it certainly depends on the mood. But it was too much. I wanted the plot to continue. And it was a slow process here. I get it, they have to work out their personal issues as well. I loved the dynamics. But after reading the previous three books, where it was extended as well, it was enough.
But okay. It's finally over, and I'm glad. They got their HEA as well. Though, the epilogue could have been longer. We don't really get a glimpse of the family life or their situations. Not even the names of all the children.
And we got a peak in the love story about Kristen, Dimitri, and the Ghost Brothers. I'm not sure, if an entire story is planned for them, though, I hope. But at least we see enough. I hope Brent gets his happy ending too. As I said, the epilogue was too short. I would have loved to see Brent or Dimitri there, too. But okay.
I give it 4 stars, as kind of complete average rating. It was a good book and plot, though after the mystery gone, it wasn't that intriguing anymore. And the showdown was not as big as I had hoped. But still something that is entertaining. The shenanigans in between, especially. I'm not sure, if I will remember this long term. But that's it.
A couple of months ago I blasted through the first three books in this series and the cliffhanger was so good. I was so excited for the next book.
We get so much in this book. We see the relationships between Hailee and the guys develop and it's hard not to fall more in love with them. But we also see more fire fights and the build up come to a head.
A special mention has to go to Liam and Donovan and their antics. My god I laughed so much when some of the Deadly Seven got involved with their shenanigans. Also, Hope the cat makes a reappearance and well yeah... it's hilarious.
I have read a lot of reverse harems and I'm pretty sure this series comes high in the leader board in terms of how many men we have in play. Seven.... SEVEN MEN! Fair play Hailiee, I applaud you for your courage and stamina! You would think with so many men in this group scenario that one or two would be slightly washed out but this doesn't happen. Reading this series as a whole, you get to hear about all of their back stories and in this book you hear some pretty traumatic ones from Creed, Ollie and Torren.
I love Hailee's character and I have done since book one and this final installment was no exception. You also can't help but love the pants off of Creed. He is a crazy son of bitch but it's hard to dislike him. Even with his creepy antics in book one. I love a slightly unhinged love interest!
You also get some absolutely hilarious moments in this book. From everyone, even Dimitri and Daddy Brent.
This was a great end to a great series. I was sad to hear this was the last installment in this little universe. I believe there were plans for a story about Kristen and Dimitri but this has now been shelved - which is disappointing but I completely understand. Cassie put a lovely message on her Instagram about this and I think she should be applauded for how open she's been.
All that's left to say is thank you Cassie and Story for an awesome series. I will be keen to read more from both these authors in the future - be that collaboratively or individually.
I’ve been really into the why choose/rh romances recently and this series hit the spot. However it wasn’t absolutely amazing. It had one of my least favorite tropes towards the end and occasionally the writing made me cringe and took me out of the story. Now don’t get me wrong I was thoroughly entertained and the SMUT WAS FANTASTIC but I probably wouldn’t read again. The plot also fell a bit flat around book 3 and I wished it had gotten darker and more dangerous but overall it was good.
I did really love the characters a lot but I hated that we didn’t get a lot of chapters from some of the men. It felt like they were missing her attention and I wish we could have seen more from the twins:( I also really liked Ollie and Creeds relationship as well as Hailees relationship with Matthias and Lukas! It was soooooo sweet!!!!
Cordon and Ollie were my absolute favorites! But everyone was a little unhinged and I loved it.
I didn’t love the main character though she kinda got on my nerves towards the end of this series!
Overall if you into reading about: - dark romance - multiple men with one women - men with other men - betrayal - danger - SMUT GALORE - crazy kitty cat - banter!
This read this series for a fun and entertaining time!!
I fell head over heals in love with all these people. This book nicely leads into the next relationship between Kristen and Dimitri and the Ghost brothers. It's a real roller coaster ride from hell too! It's full of the violence we love in this series and how Hailee is right there keeping her men in line pregnant and a mama bear already! Now, as in the other books I laughed my ass off! Creed with his Google and Dimitri trying to reign things in but fails. Brent is a great dad but loses it from time to time because these guys, as you know, have no filter! The Ghost brothers become part of the deadly seven and Ollie really bonds with one of them ...then there's hope the cat who is the demon cat from hell and of course has more fights with two of the guys which had me rolling ! This series is one of my top series I have read. It's amazing writing and I'm really happy that the next book is about Kristen and Dimitri and the Ghost brothers. Cassie has done an excellent job in each book! It's got the best HEA I've read. Total Chaos is what makes this family shine and the love they now have for all of them is perfect.
sigh Well, I've finally finished this series! Let me just say, that I had high(er) expectations going in because, when it comes to having love interests based off of The Seven Deadly Sins, I've grown accustomed to this: and this:
Aside from that, even though I kind of got invested about halfway through Salvation, it, like the rest of the series, ultimately underwhelmed me. The writing just didn't gel with me; the voices of the characters are too similar. I didn't find the brand of humour funny, nor the spicy scenes sexy. (Plus, Haliee is SOO irritating! She's supposed to be the kindest person to ever walk the Earth, but she's "cute" and "feisty" because she keeps threatening to kill the guys if they step out of line.🙄)
However, I can see why this series can be a comfort read of sorts to some. And I did like how Torren's character kind of came full circle with him emulating "Death" now.
I was really enjoying this series. Unfortunately it took me about 4 months to finish this book I just didn’t have the motivation to finish it and I found Hallie to be quite annoying at the end of this series. I liked her through out but the amount of screaming and cussing out all of her men towards the end was that frequent it started to become unbearable and make me not want to read it. The epilogue was really cute though. Also I want to say I love RH/ Poly relationships but I am staring to think there is a limit to the number of partners I can handle. When there is 7 it’s gets complicated and sometimes I mix people up or get confused about who’s who’s and I feel like while their was development for these characters there definitely could have been more. We know the ins and outs of Hallie’s character but her men’s stories aren’t as deeply explored, I would have liked to see more from them. Especially considering some men were the star of the show and had heaps of screen time and others that I would have liked to have seen more of got barely any. I also feel like the ending was very anticlimactic with all that build up for it to be over with so quickly, Anyway,
This is one of the BEST series of books I have ever read... and I read about 200-300 books each year.
I stumbled onto the first book in the series Obsession via a recommendation from a friend, and literally devoured that, then Seduction book 2, and devotion book 3 to discover - to my horror - book 4 #salvation (this book) was not out yet... fortunately it was only a few days but after reading this no other book caught my attention and I have dodged work and mum duties all day to just embrace it today, on release day!
It is everything I could ask for in a concluding book - still high drama, risk and heart stopping moments - but also the same obsessive, yet romantic relationships evolving and just the wonder of existing together too.
I already ache for more from Hailee and her harem, especially as the epilogue brings new characters I want to embrace too.
I have yet to read anything my Cassie Hargrove or Story Brooks that has disappointed. They are superstar authors, and I am off to stalk their next releases...
Salvation was the perfect ending to The Deadly Seven Series! I loved Haliee, the guys, and Brett from the start and every book just drew me in further, but Salvation expanded it to Kristen and all of her guys, too! There was tons of action, holy wow lots of spice, so much blood, growth by them all, and more than anything there was definitely love. Haliee being pregnant has her and the guys completely in uncharted territory and, although deliriously happy, terrified at the same time. We finally learn Torren and Creed’s stories and see Torren’s other demon, which are important. Plus, we see Marty trying to heal for Haliee and the baby. We also find out Dmitri’s deal and why he’s made Haliee & Brett’s life literal He!! On Earth. Loved the way Haliee handles all of the guys, including Kristen’s, because she’s definitely the one in charge of her guys, even more so now being pregnant. I laughed probably way too much for it to be appropriate but Corden’s fued with and terror of Hope, ducky pool, d!ck darts are just a few reasons I couldn’t stop laughing!
Whooo.... what can one say about this series? This series introduced me to several concepts I didn't know were possible to use so excessively in books. The first one was crying. Soo much crying. Everybody was crying all the time. Emotions are good I guess. The MFC is capable of only three major emotions/ states of being. She is either crying, yelling or horny. In fact I would venture to say I felt so bad for her because I never knew someone could cry so much. She has cried with effort and dedication through all four books. I was worried for a second, that she wouldn't have any more tears to get her to the end but alas she didn’t let me down and was able to pull it off. Bravo! The dialogue throughout the series was stilted and felt forced as did the relationships. Her evolution from timid to sassy was helped along through the introduction of good d*ck. Matter of fact it was instantaneous. Who knew?! So why did i read the series? Truthfully? I don't know. Would I recommend it? Only if you have a crying kink mixed in with sass.
