When she catches her boyfriend cheating with her boss, Mya Young realizes it’s past time to walk away from the toxic relationship she’d lost interest in years ago. Unemployed, she stuffs everything she owns into her compact sedan and takes off to the one place that has always felt like home: Kimbell, Texas.

Instead of finding solace, Mya’s first day in the quaint town includes a flat tire, an emergency room visit, and losing her dog ... who ends up being found by one of the town’s most handsome and eligible bachelors.

Firefighter Ronan O’Reilly is a single dad of rambunctious twin boys who just got booted out of the only daycare in town. Although it’s more expensive, he knows finding a nanny is the best option for his kids. But when the nanny he hired quits hours into the job, abandoning his sons with a stranger, he’s beyond livid.

Until he realizes the kind stranger is the gorgeous, down-on-her-luck out-of-towner whose dog he found a few days ago … and his boys want her to be their new nanny.

Fighting the undeniable attraction between them, Mya and Ronan agree to terms for her to care for the twins until he can find a suitable replacement. But with each passing day, the connection between them intensifies and they can no longer deny their feelings … until Mya makes a huge mistake that threatens the lives of Ronan’s sons.

Will their luck in love win out over tragedy?

Trusting Luck is a single-dad, nanny, sweet romance, within A Kimbell Texas Sweet Romances—a series of stand-alone novels that celebrate diverse characters, explore unforgettable challenges, and guarantee a satisfying happily-ever-after.

It was a cute story that gave me Hallmark feels. I loved Mya's relationship with Declan and Finnegan but there was no sex. I wasn't prepared for the wholesomeness of the story.

I like my romances a lot raunchier but if you don't, this one's for you.

This was a cute one in the series. I think including kids in a book is hard to do well, and I liked it in here. I enjoyed seeing the relationship progress, and it felt natural and I enjoyed it. I think the ending chapters could have been fleshed out a bit more, but overall, glad we got to meet these two.

Very Sweet

I very much enjoyed this story I feel like it’s was very sweet. Their chemistry was immediate but they both had some baggage that left them a little wary of whether to get into a relationship or not. Luckily they both talked it out and had pretty open communication which I LOVED! The only part I didn’t like was the bm situation. It turned into a “both sides were equally wrong” situation which in my opinion didn’t seem that way. Yes he was wrong for expecting her to put her career on hold but once she left she kept no contact with him for the kids. She left and quite literally never got back into contact with him to hear about them. Instead we have her mom doing all of that and trying to insert herself for her daughters sake even though she didn’t once try to visit. Also her mothers contempt for Mya was never actually addressed. She was upset that someone else could take the place of mom for the kids even though those kids never met their mom. obviously if he gets into a serious relationship with someone who meets his kids that would be a natural deduction to make and yet she acted as if the BM was actually apart of their lives. It just irked me that it turned into a he was wrong for keeping her away type thing when he wasn’t really keeping her away from the kids, she never made the effort to be in those kids’ lives.

Trusting Luck was an enjoyable read. It was cleaner than I was expecting though.
Fitness trainer Mya is in a tough relationship with Jamal. She finds out he’s been cheating with her boss who is now pregnant. So she’s out a job, a boyfriend, and a place to live even though she was the one paying for everything.
Her bad luck doesn’t end there when she tries to change her tire and ends up getting a huge gash in her arm. While she’s getting her arm looked at her; her dog Jellybean decides to go for a run.
Ronan is the firefighter who ends up answering the call about Mya’s dog running around the park. He is also a single father to two adorable 4 year old boys.
This story was definitely a roller coaster of emotions and things happening. I could understand Ronan’s feelings towards his ex wife and how she left the boys but he didn’t do anything to help the situation either. I was shocked when he said Georgia could take them to see Nikki(their mother). I was really hoping it wouldn’t happen like that.
Thankfully things worked out differently and were more appropriate for the situation at hand. I figured we would have to have more drama at the end but at least it didn’t last long. Ronan finally opened up and figured out what he wanted in life.

Good until…(contains spoilers)

I was enjoying the book as the author took her time to develop the relationship between Mya and Ronan. The twins were also adorable.
The part I just couldn’t get into was about Georgia
and Nikki. The lack of accountability was astounding. Nikki abandoned her infants for over 3 years, never contacted their father to keep abreast of their well being but somehow it’s Ronan’s fault? He should be doing more to keep her alive in the kids’ minds?
As for letting them go with Georgia to England it was a terrible idea. If Nikki wanted to meet her kids she had to come to them, not the other way around. For one the kids don’t know her so they would need to be eased into it, they are not used to being away from their father with Georgia for too long so that would be traumatic for little boys and lastly, given how flighty Nikki has proven to be, why let the kids go to another country, out of reach without a legal custody arrangement in place? Ronan’s guilt was misplaced, Santos’ advice was terrible and Georgia was biased. Connor was actually the only one making sense in telling Ronan to pace himself.

A good clean romance. Too many things about the characters pissed me off: Nikki’s abandonment of her kids, Georgia blaming Ronan for the kids’ lack of closeness to their mother, Mya’s boss’ treatment of her after destroying her relationship, Connor’s treatment of Mya, Ronan’ blowup and blaming of Mya after incident, Ronan’s secret, Ronan and Nikki’s reunion, and more.

An emotional roller-coaster that captivates and satisfies.

I really enjoyed reading this novel. It is well-written with nicely developed characters that draw you into the story. Yes, they feel their ups and downs, questioning their decisions, but not enough to discourage the reader. It all adds depth to the story and makes it feel real. And, it goes to show that honest communication, if you are honest with yourself first, will lighten any load. For the most part, all the characters laid it on the line which was refreshing – the young boys, especially.

Every story has to have an antagonist and so we have Georgia, the boy’s grandmother who naturally sided with her estranged daughter who left behind two infant boys and their father. The only cringe factor was the idea of sending the four-year-olds to visit their mom in London with Georgia without their father tagging along…Then, you have Mya and Ronan – two people who seem meant to be together and as a family – still struggling with overcoming their past mistakes in relationships. Each of their friends contribute nicely to the HEA outcome that should come to potential readers as no surprise. The joy is in reading how they get there…I received an arc and this is my honest and voluntary review.

When you add in the drama along with tons of emotions. The relationship include twin boys who are little rascals that make the story so good. This story is truly delightful and amazing experience it's exciting and humorous! This will bring a smile to your face with their relationship which is such a delight and great to read which is such a pleasurable experienceEven the secondary characters are great. There is one thing I wish for and that is for more because I hate for a awesome story to end. Trust was the theme of this story

My a lost er trust with Jamal when she found him when she found him with her boss. That was when she felt the call if Kimbell, TX that she remembered her grandmother taking her there during the summers. When she got to Kimbell, it seems as though she had a batch of bad luck.

Ronan was having bad luck with baby sitters for his rambunctious four year old twin boys. Declan and Finegan were a trip. But they loved Miss Mya and Jellybean. Roman was hurt by the fact that his ex wife left him with nine month old twin boys. Their antics made the excitement in the that almost split their father and Miss MyA who already had doubts in her head about Ronan especially how she ended things with her ex Jamal. Ronan always moved things too fast in his relationship and he was determined to get things right with Mya, and he did. Now they can build their HEA together. Declan and Finegan others two mommies.

This is actually 3.5 ⭐️ read. If you’re looking for a sweet PG (as in no sex) this one is for you.

Mya finds out that the man she’s lived with for the last 6 years has been having an affair with her boss. She’s so annoyed she breaks up with him and packs her stuff. Oh and to add insult her boss fires her.

Mya heads to Kimball TX, to her uncles house. There she meets Ronan. A local firefighter who helps her out in a jam. The romance takes off from there. Of course it ends in a HEA with a marriage proposal.

It was the perfect read for the day after the election. May or may not read more in the series.

Borrowed this from Kindle Unlimited.

This book certainly kept me on the edge of my seat as I followed the twists and turns in the lives of Mya and Ronan, watching them navigate past hurts, present challenges, trust issues, you name it, they faced it. And the love of two little boys caught in the middle of it all added even more drama and uncertainty. Would their relationship be strong enough to move beyond the never ending hurdles thrown across their path or will going their separate ways be the answer for all involved? I was given a review copy of this book and am leaving my honest review.

The O'Reilly's

I enjoyed this book. This is the first book by this author that I've read and I must say I really liked it. Ronan was struggling trying to raise his sons up without their mother and Mya was struggling not having a family for support. The instant connection between Ronan and Mya was so strong that everything led them towards each other. Ronan and Mya found the love, commitment and the family that they had been searching for. Hope to read more about the good folks in Kimball Texas.

Love! Love! Love!
We got to see characters from book 1, truly seeing how close Ronan and the guys are. We got to meet some new. Mya is amazing!! The connection with her and Ronan feels like a real life story. The twin boys stole my heart; their relationship with both Mya and Ronan gives me all the Hallmark feels. Again, clean romance and small town girl meets boy. You feel all emotions in each chapter.

Not for readers who want raunchy romance. This just innocent, wholesome country romance. I'm here for it!

Will this too quick to fall in love “ginger man” make the same mistake yet again? He has a poor track record of investing his heart quickly, and later his heart is crushed. Ronan has been unlucky in love. While he’s been unlucky, many of the single women in Kimbell are anxious to get and maintain his attention. The firefighter and father of twin boys is a hunk of a man at over 6 feet and 270 pounds and all muscle. A transit Mya temp stay in Kimbell has reawaken feelings of attraction. Man is he ever attracted! Her beautiful face, and beautiful sculptured body is more than Ronan can just let pass by. He even finds her tattoos fascinating. This dude is weak for the town’s newcomer and he is ready to rush back into the fire. Will he get burned again by love?

Great book!

I really enjoyed this story, and the characters were very entertaining. The chemistry between Ronan and Mya was smoking hot 🔥 and intense. I loved the journey, Ms Vane takes you the reader on. The ups and downs and the twists made you want to continue reading to find out what the end would be. The twins were the hit of the storyline. I highly recommend this book to my fellow romance readers. You will not be disappointed.

Winning Trilogy

I just finished the third book and enjoyed them Immensely. The characters were well developed and charming, though I thought Connor a bit of a butthead. Now I'll search out other Angel Vane books. Also a BIG plus they are all clean reads, I don't really mind some sexual activity but some books that seems the only thing the characters have in common. These characters build relationships with jumping in bed every chapter. Good job Miss Vane!

This is going in my read over collection

I loved reading this, Mya & Ronan story gives me hope that the special someone is out there. I like the love me love my children concept as well as it should be. This story is up there with top romance, classy without being slutty, sometimes you need classy. I can’t wait to see if there a story on Conner, or even Jasmine or even the other firefighters, going to see what else Angel S. Vane has to read.

Trusting Luck, my sixth read from author Angel Vane. Pure enjoyable romantic fiction! “I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review." The gifting of this book did not affect my opinion of it. I'll definitely be reading more from this author. (RIP Marley January 20, 2014 - July 24, 2018).

Trusting Luck And Love!

Love this book and love this series! Mya and Ronan definitely had the love going for them. But it was the trust issues that had to be dealt with. Their relationship had a few bumps. But between love, twin boys and a dog, a happy ending was soon to be.

Great Read!

Trusting Love

Such a great book. Loved Mya…even after hard knocks from her ex boyfriend’s affair with her boss and being fired for no good reason, she was still a kind and loving person. Ronan and his sons, Finn and Dec, loved her to the point that in the end, after everything going on with ex’s, love was still in the air for Mya and Ronan….and the boys.

Tears

Ugh why this made me cry. I love everything about this book. I will say Ronan had every right to feel the way he did about Nikki. A parent should always be the one to take initiative when it comes to their kids (young kids). I'm just glad everything fell into place. Gosh, this has my heart melting❤️

Ok read. It was clean, but barely...way too much physical description and lust
There was no sex, but I'm actually surprised by the way the book went.
The twins were awesome, and the only reason I stuck with the book

I want to move to Kimbell! That being said, this is not my favorite love story. I was ready to DNF after the reaction to the twin getting hurt. I think there should be no excuse for Nikki leaving her kids. “Her saying I wanted you to come after me” made me roll my eyes. I wanted to punch Dr. Connor in the face for most of the book. The undisclosed information would have me never returning Ronan’s call. Last, Georgia is not endearing at all. But the twins are extraordinary; I want a dog like Jelly Bean. I will keep reading this series based on the merit of the first book.
