I am the Under-Boss and brother to the head of the Moretti Crime Family. My father pushed me into an arranged marriage with one of the Romano sisters in a bid to forge a peace treaty made between our families. Marriage is the last thing I want, but I have no choice but to marry Viola and honor the agreement, so why can't I stop thinking about her sister? When she's near I lose my edge. Olivia is not only intelligent but gorgeous. Her beauty is known far and wide in almost a mythical or goddess-like way. My Perfect Woman. Except she is off-limits and I cannot resist. She is the drug I crave although I know she will destroy me. Tensions rise and war looms between our two families as our forbidden romance delves deeper into an affair that erupts with a passion that explores my deepest and darkest desires. I must tread lightly and traverse the tightrope that is mafia politics.
Olivia
I'm the eldest of the Romano children and accustomed to the mafia scene but dislike the world of organized crime and those who occupy it. I was destined to marry Huxley first, but one wrong decision changed all that staining my hands bright red and causing my sister to be next in line to marry that womanizing bastard. His reputation is widespread and I don't like what he stands for. He's a drug-using player but the hottest man I've ever seen. He does things to me and my body despite his violent ways. He may be hotter than fire but a true villain lurks beneath all that passion. Falling for Huxley could not only lead to an all-out war but will also undermine my decision to be with a man like my father.
I’m Misty Winters, the “Mother of Chihuahuas”… also of three human children, and I’m the debut author of some new steamy contemporary romance novels. I’ve always been an avid reader, devouring whole books in one sitting, and with my vivid imagination, writing was a natural next step. I love creating plots and characters that can provide my readers with an escape from the everyday. My ability to concoct stories has always been my inspiration, and besides, who doesn’t want to spend the day dreaming up romantic bad boy leads?
I’m an animal fanatic, and my little fur babies, Lulu, Oliver, and Winston, are my cheerleaders while I write. I firmly believe a good laugh can heal the soul, and for those it doesn’t, red wine will do the trick.
Bound To Him is the really good, arranged marriage story of Huxley, the under boss for the Moretti Family and Olivia, the oldest daughter of the Romano Family. The arrangement between these families is that Huxley and Olivia would be married but, Olivia, having a change of heart decides to run opening the opportunity for a marriage between Huxley and Olivia's sister. Olivia returning throws a big in that plan though and even though they're both committed to someone else, the chemistry between them is undeniable. This book is full of chaos, action and intrigue that keeps you on the edge of your seat from the very beginning.
Who doesn’t love an arranged marriage? Although I’d say this one has a twist you wouldn’t expect. This story is the second book of the series and I really loved Huxley and Olivia. They pulled me right into their world and kept me hooked! Suspense, love, danger…What more could you ask for?!
A new author for me. This is the 2nd book in this author’s The Moretti Family series. This story follows an arranged marriage between Huxley and Olivia with a caveat. This couple was actually supposed to be married a few years ago but Olivia tried to run. After that arrangement was void and her sister was put in her place and his sister, Viola hated it just as much bit when Olivia and Huxley see each other, they are instantly attracted, so what a mess. While they were originally supposed to be married a few years ago, Olivia didn't like the idea and decided to run. Unfortunately, that came at a very high price. Now her sister Viola is promised to him, which Viola hates as well. However, once Huxley and Olivia set eyes on each other, their attraction is instant. This is danger Will Robinson.

I know the moment I saw him. He needed to be mine. The problem was, he’s was arranged to marry my sister. Luckily, he felt the same way.
Hot. Hot. Hot. This was way hotter than I expected and I loved every minute of this book. This is the first book I’ve read from this author and it won’t be my last. I will be going back to read the first book of the series and can’t wait to read the next when they are released.
I really enjoyed this mafia arranged marriage with a forbidden love twist. The story line was great with complexities of the rival families and the spice was fantastic.
I received a free copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.
This is the story of Huxley, who is the under-boss for the Moretti Crime Family and also one big womanizer. Then there is Olivia, the eldest disgraced daughter of the Romano Family. When these two meet, their chemistry is undeniable and off the charts. Unfortunately, they are both engaged to someone else.
Come read how they finally unite and how they will also bring another crime syndicate down. There is plenty of hot chemistry and suspense. This is one hot Italian Mafia romance with a HEA!

This is the second book to the Moretti series and it definitely did not disappoint! I loved His Prisoner… and loved Bound to Him even more!
Huxley and Olivia are explosive and burn the pages as you go! This book will keep you reading all through the night and not make you regret your lost sleep! The ups and downs, and twists and turns of this book makes your heart rate spike and your skin burn!
This book is technically a standalone, but I would suggest reading the first book in the series to understand certain characters and referenced things.
Olivia was meant to marry Huxley but fearing staying life in the criminal world she ran and now her sister is next to marry him. But when Huxley and Olivia meet sparks fly, but they are now both promised to other people, how will their families interference tear them apart. Well written book 2 in the series but can work standalone. Engaging Steamy drama, and more.

Another arrangement with the Morettis that turns out to be a beautiful love affair. Huxley and Olivia were both promised to others due to treaties in the territory but were able to do a little swap and be together.
ACK! So good! My first mafia book where they don’t want to marry and really love others and fight for it! Not easy but worth the reward. So good, easy read and spicy!
Loved it!
Off to read book 3 with same characters- Love all the characters in this series.
Bound To Him is book 2 in the Moretti series and is an arranged marriage, mafia romance. Olivia is a strong woman who knows what she wants. When she is to be married to Huxley Moretti, an underboss for another mafia family and one who she’s never met, she runs away. The marriage is off. Her father then arranged for her younger sister to marry Huxley. Huxley is a hot underboss, and a playboy. He doesn’t want to be married but knows he has to for his family to be strong and powerful. He meets all of the Romanos, including Viola, his fiancée. Then he sees Olivia and everything changes. This book is so exciting with plot twists you didn’t see coming. The story has interesting characters and a storyline that keeps you turning the pages. The chemistry between Olivia and Huxley is so hot and their love for one another is so sweet. It had me rooting for their HEA from the start. I can’t wait to read more from the Moretti series!
I loved Huxley and Olivia's story. It's an arranged marriage with a little twist. This undeniable chemistry sets in motion a course that could be dangerous and deadly for them and their families. Such a good read from beginning to end. There's action, suspense, drama, and romance. I'd definitely recommend it.

I loved reading this book. Plenty of action and a range of emotions that will keep you reading. Never boring. Huxley and Olivia had a rough time getting together and staying together. A very challenging romance during the time of arranged marriages and treaty building. Foes became friends, villains were discovered and taken care of. I really enjoyed this. I only had one after thought. Would anything happen between Antonio and the Rossi family? They disrespected him at the don's meeting. Other than that, I loved it.
I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.
Reasons I enjoyed this book: Action-packed Entertaining Happily Ever After Page-turner Scary Steamy Twisted Unpredictable Wonderful characters
Book 2 in the Moretti series, this time we get to see Huxley & Olivia! I definitely recommend reading book 1- Antonio & Mia’s book. But you don’t have to. Huxley is about to marry Olivia’s sister, but once he sees Olivia he has to her! They’re both already with others, but they can’t deny their feelings and the intense sparks & connection they have. Book 2 is just as good as book 1, it’s got action, twists and turns, suspense, romance and really great characters! I can’t wait for book 3…Claimed by Him- Tony’s story!
Received as an ARC and leaving my honest review voluntarily. Since this is a mafia romance, you can expect violence and blood but nothing overly descriptive. The chemistry between Huxley and Olivia was hot and steamy and they paired well with each other. It was a fast paced enjoyable read with a plot that kept me engaged and wanting to turn the pages faster to get to the climax of things and to find out if they'll get their HEA.

I loved this story. It was so good to see the softer side of the hard as nails playboy. It was was also good to see Antonio and Mia again, along with the other supporting characters.
I loved the instant attraction between Olivia and Huxley. I loved how they both tried to fight the inevitable, but eventually caved. The chemistry between them was off the charts. I loved how Huxley planned to take care of the issues that were presented instead of just jumping in without thinking.
I hope there is more to this series. I would like to see Fiona, Vinny, Viola and Tony all get their HEA!
I loved everything about this forbidden, arranged marriage mafia romance. Huxley and Olivia have an instant attraction that can’t be denied no matter the cost. What will they risk to be together? This story is complex and twisted but so emotional. The writing is just fantastic and I couldn’t swipe the pages fast enough! A must read!.

Bound to him literally kept me on the edge of my seat. I loved it and couldn't put it down! Olivia and Huxley were hot, hot, hot. Plus, the suspense and danger were nail-biting.

This is my first book by this author and she knocked it out of the park. I read this in one sitting and it did not disappoint. Love a mafia man's love for his woman.
The angst, the banter, and the sexual tension. Ugh, the sexual tension from the beginning had me refusing to put the book down.
Huxley is HOT. His dirty blond hair, hazel eyes, muscular physique (okay, and nice package) had me feeling some type of way. Something about these mafia men get me worked up, and I’m not complaining one bit.
Olivia plays the “no fucks given” attitude but once she decided on something, she was all in. I love a strong female character and she filled that role.
Forbidden romance. Family drama. Mafia. A bit of dark romance. This book has it all.
This author has a way of wrapping you up in the text. Before I knew it, I was half way through the book. The writing style to easy to follow, the flow is enjoyable, and she managed to make me laugh!
I received this book as an ARC, but am willingly leaving this review (&& will be checking this author out again!!!).
2.5 This book was okay but nothing special. Huxley and Olivia' story was another authors' take about the infamous Moretti Family which has been written about by many other authors who have done an excellent in producing noteworthy novels. I have read more Mafia genre than most readers and honestly expect more from one of these stories that just another forbidden story/arranged marriage that is advertised as a "love story". These love stories often don't come to fruition until later in the book, if at all; or have dire circumstances ending in someone's death. Many of these stories are riddled with prior "arranged marriages" that went South ending in the female character being killed or murdered. Arranged marriages have been written to death in this genre making it hard for an author to "make the story unique or there own" without just repeating what another author has already written.
I am always looking for an author who can take a repetitive genre such as "an arranged marriage" who is able to provide a unique storyline that differentiates their story for all the others. This book didn't do that for me.
Huxley Moretti is obligated by an old promise his father made to unite the most powerful mob families through marriage. His original match, Olivia Romano, was taken out of the running due to her unwillingness to comply with the strict rules set out by her father, so he has been matched to her sister, Viola, who has no interest in Huxley whatsoever.
Although he hates the idea Huxley understands that this is his obligation to the family, that is, until he sets eyes on Olivia.
She’s everything he wants and she seems to reciprocate his feelings although she’s promised to someone else in marriage.
With the family alliances in a fragile state and someone infiltrating the Moretti territory tensions are high and any changes to tradition are frowned upon will Huxley and Olivia have a chance at ever being together.
Bound to Him is the first book I’ve read by Misty Winters and I’m looking forward to reading more. I love mafia stories that are equally gritty, action packed and sexy. Bound to Him was plenty sexy but lacked in the grittiness and action of mafia life that I love to read. Still an entertaining story! It is book two of the Moretti Family series and can be read as a stand alone. We do get some insight on Antonio and Mia, the H and h from book one, and it’s just enough to have me wanting to read their backstory and how they came to be. I am looking forward to checking out Fiona and Tony’s story (book three) as well. I recommend it if you’re looking for an entertaining super sexy light mafia read.
I am the Under-Boss and brother to the head of the Moretti Crime Family. The Moretti and Romano have a marriage treaty for son to marry daughter. Huxley is the only son that's single. Romano two daughters that are single but the oldest Olivia is soil so the father changed the name to the youngest one. But they don't like each other but it's for peace with families and strength. Olivia and Huxley see each other and want each other.Olivia's father made a deal with a older man for her hand in marriage, who is a slime ball that thinks he'll take over the area. Great read with all the twist and turns🤔😊😁
Olivia and Huxley were supposed to be married, but she didn't like the idea and ran. Now he's supposed to be married to her younger sister. Olivia and Huxley come across each other and have instant attraction with tings of chemistry. This book has a lot of drama and suspense. Totally worth the read!
Huxley and Olivia's love story involves a bunch of arranged marriages that spiral and go sideways. There's forbidden liaisons, passion plus, violence, secrecy, mafia families rivalries and shady deals. Good book, good series!
I like Huxley, he starts out as everything you would expect a second son of a Mafia Don to be. An entitled, arrogant, cock-sure ladies man, yes, but he’s more than that too. He’s smart, intuitive, dedicated, and devoted to his family, even at the expense of himself. He has a strong sense of morals, at least considering his family “business”. And he treats the women well, even Viola, knowing he’s not really into her and vice versa. There’s never a single moment that I feel Huxley was cruel, or spiteful or in anyway disrespectful towards any of the women.
And Olivia… how can I not like Olivia? That poor girl has been through so much, and it’s impossible to not want her to finally get the HEA she so deeply deserves! I think it’s incredibly how strong she is, in spite of her trauma. She is the kind of woman I like to read about. While she wasn’t a part of any of the violence, she was most certainly a strong female character, even as she had to maneuver through the politics of being a Don’s daughter in the Mafia.
There were a lot of sexy times in this book! That’s not a complaint, just a statement of observation. Many readers like that, some may skim past, but I thought I’d mention it for the various preferences out there.
My only complaint, and the reason it wasn’t 5 ⭐️s, would be that I felt like it was a lot of build up for everything to happen in the last few minutes of the book. I don’t care for that, simply because I want more of a happy ending than what was there. If I could have had it anyway I wanted, I’d have liked to see the marriage happen in secret, and then them all working together to take down the “bad guys”.
Maybe in a future book, we still have two sisters and at least one Romano brother to keep an eye out for! Then there are the Rossis to consider also. Given how some things went down in this book, I have no delusions that the three families will have to figure out how to work together again, without starting a war between families.
Maybe Tony meets a bad@$$ woman who kicks his tail, before becoming a partner to him to do just as I said, take down the “bad guys” together. Maybe a secret assassin or the daughter of a Bratva Pahkan? A girl can dream, right, LoL! Maybe I just want to read about a woman beating the ever loving 💩 out of Tony, he strikes me as the kind of man who can take it, and even become smitten over it. 😉😆🤣😂
Something tells me though that Misty Winters has some special plans for future books, which I’m hoping will include the wedding. I’m all in for whatever Ms Winters has in store for us!
Still can’t wait to see who will tame Hurricane Fiona! (Though, I may have some inside info [I’m not tellin!] or at the very least a good guess.)
