It is the best book you can read about human magnetism. Jacob Melo is in the forefront of studying and practicing magnetism for a great part of his life. To my knowledge, currently there is no other person alive with the amount of knowledge he has on the subject. He basis his knowledge on Charles Lafontaine, Baron Du Potet, Joseph Philippe Francois Deleuse and many others, also is knowledge is constantly being updated due to his experiments with magnetism.
The book is in Portuguese and currently is not translated to any other language, it also only exists in paperback format.
