I have strongly believed in the saying that Marriages are made in heaven and are just performed on Earth. It is often said that if things are not happening as per our whims and fancies then they are taking place as per Almighty's directives as HE always has a better plan for us.

After reading the blurb with similar thoughts occupying my mind I started with the book. Monika has come across a lots of hardships in her life and she dint get to marry her love interest Gurpreet as well. After tying the knots with Tanishk against her choices she flies to Paris to stay with him but soon realizes that he is only after her money. Consequently,he leaves her in an alien nation. Distraught after being left behind ,will the Karmic threads revive her fortune atleast once ? One needs to read the book from cover to cover to get the answers.

The concept of Karma is at the focus in the entire tale . Though it was quite unfamiliar and weird to see that a man has left a woman after getting hold of her money ,as rare a occurence as a woman molesting a man. So in that aspect story becomes a bit less relatable. Had the genders of protagonists been reversed it would have been easier to digest and follow. Besides that ,the flow of the story is good enough.

Overall a reasonable story that could have been better with a more realistic portral

Karmic Threads is a story about how our actions (karma) play a role in shaping our destiny. It lies somewhat in the romance genre, but the undertones of treachery, loss, and betrayal lend a sombre colour to it.

It starts with the protagonist, Monika, who has everything life has to offer, until an accident happens that kills her family and marks the beginning of her trials. From thereon, the author brings in different characters who, with their actions, weave the threads of destiny around themselves and others such that everyone gets what's due to them before the end.

The language flows easily, making for a comfortable read. I read the book in one sitting; while the plot was not completely unique in itself, the writing style had something quite compelling about it-only allowed me to stop at the epilogue. I really enjoyed the relationship drawn out between Monika and her best friend, Resham. The author ensured each and every character had a role in affecting the plot. Everything tied off neatly, leaving me with very warm and contented vibes at the end.

🙋🏻This is one beautiful, heart touching read reiterating the belief in true love & karma. It is an emotional story of loss, true love, separation, broken friendships, bad marriage, treachery & betrayal, the quest..for justice & true love and karma.

The writing is good, narrative easy to catch on & the vocabulary gives you a few new words to learn. It's around 230 pgs but a quick read due to it's pace & is a complete page turner.

I was heartbroken & lost when Monika lost her parents, then again when she lost love of Gurpreet , again when she was treated badly by her chacha chachi & then again when her husband betrayed her. My heart went out to her & i couldn't fanthom what would happen next after she was left in lurch on the streets of Paris. But as destiny would have, true friends & good people are also there in this world if bad people exist. The story gets an optimistic boost here & i relaxed a bit.

What transpired later to give this realistic fiction, a happy ever after, was an amazing journey to experience. I believe in karma totally & this read put a stamp on my beliefs. Good karma, makes us work hard first & gives the fruit later while bad karma serves us first like a credit card & we have to pay for our deeds later but in the end, the balance sheet needs to be balanced.
A good read, time well spent.

Whatever we do, something is there behind it. There is some power or reason behind every action of us even though we do it mindfully. Likewise, we have a soulful connection with some person in our lifetime. We will receive what we give. So we have to be careful in doing things whatever life throws us. Always we came to know that good people are suffering a lot. But finally good only wins. We call it as Karma, destiny or fate. But there is some magical power beyond us. If something is coming to us, we really need it. And if not, God protecting us from that.

The author made this novel so much interesting right from the title, cover, concept and the content. I felt all the types of emotions, the pain and a relief, the hurt and the heal, the weak and the strong, everything through the young protagonist’s life, "Monika" in this story. The author narrated amazingly by making this novel more interesting till the end. I loved the pure soul of Monika and I have learnt many things how she faced her life struggles boldly. I can see the optimism from the author through this strong character. And also all other characters are built nicely to execute the story so well.

The language of the story is in a flawless flow and realistic to connect with the readers easily. The title and the cover is the one which attracts me much and it is well designed.

The author lucidly explains how relationships are founded in the form of karma and its impact on our consciousness through this wonderful story. Karma is like law of cause and effect. It is also what binds us to this world. The author has done a great job by developing this story of Monika's life to tell us more about the karma and karmic threads of connection.

It is an engrossing and intriguing story which will teach us more lessons.

Grab your copy to intrigue more with this beautiful story and have an impact in your life of action.

As the name suggests, this book show you how Karma will eventually occur to those who did bad with people.

Review - The book starts with "A Word of Gratitude" and contains 43 chapters, ending with an Epilogue. Since I picked up this book due to its name, I wasn't regretting it at all. Here , the protagonist is a girl, named Monika. Who suffered throughout her life due to the ill treatment of her own people. At a very young age, she lost her loving parents, they left their whole money & property belonging to their daughter Monika only. Monika's relatives came forward to look after her, and Monika trusted them, little did she know that they are full of greed and are after her property.

After some time, Monika fell in love with Gurpreet, but she couldn't marry him because her relatives found another man for her. She accepted him and moved to Paris to start her new life. But again, she was betrayed. Her husband was also greedy and left Monika after he took over her property & money. She was left alone on a strange land.

So how will she be able to cope up with the situation? Left with nothing and alone on a foreign land. And how Karma worked with those people who used her and betrayed her? To know the full story, read this book, full of emotions.

The characterisation is up to the mark, some of the main characters besides Monika are, Roopam, Gurpreet, Tanishk, Ritesh etc. The plot was good and the language was easy to understand. The book holds many elements like, treachery, greed, betrayal, hope, marriage, love, doubts etc. Title is apt and the cover is so touching. Totally recommend.

"Whenever I'm very happy, something usually happens to make me sad!"

The story is about the toxic side of the society where marriage is treated as a business. Love is a joke to many. Dowry is still doing it's business. To some daughter is Laxmi, to some she is the property of some other house.

The main character, Monika, lost her parents and her uncle & aunt moved to her house to take care of her. Unfortunately, later in the story we get to know that they just wanted to take over all the properties of Monika's father. They wanted her to marry an NRI so that she won't be able to have control over those properties & business.

Monika falls in love with a Punjabi boy, but her uncle & aunt don't let her to marry that guy and stay back in India at any cost. They did emotional blackmail to convince her to marry the NRI guy whom they have chosen for her. But, after marriage he turns out to be a fraud man. He Iied all about himself & his family to get married to Monika only because of money. Disgusting!

People don't even feel guilty of taking advantage of someone's emotions. Monika is so kind hearted and sensitive, that her uncle & aunt, even her husband took advantage of her emotions.

Grab the book find out how finally Monika gets to know about all these dirty games being played on her since years and how she finally gets married to her love, Gurmeet.

Very extraordinary people have the skill to present their story in such a way that it touches the heart of the reader. I would like to applaud the author a lot for the fact that every solitary word of his story knocks on the heart.

The story revolves around Monika. The story begins at Trocadero situated in Paris. Monika's life had given her a big blow. She had always lived his life in happiness, but today there was such a change in her life that people were considering her a beggar. When she gets caught between whale and crocodile, Resham becomes an angel in her life and rescues her from there.
Monika's life was full of difficulties, first, she lost her parents in an accident, then she married a person she did not like and had to leave the one she loved. Her life once again nudges her into pain. The man she married was only in love with her money, not her. Her life goes through a lot of ups and downs. But someone has rightly said that after every gloom there is a dawn.
The character of Monika which the author has illustrated to us is very inspiring and we get to learn a lot from this character. Gurmeet's character also impressed me a lot. To know whether her new dawn will come in Monika's life, definitely read this book once. I am sure that somewhere this story will knock on your heart.

Story of the girl who born in wealthy family and due to one refusal of the groom offer, how her life taken a turn and how she survived without giving up on situation although how hard it was. author narrates all the plots in very synchronous way. It includes ups and downs of life, how money can deceive some relations and upto what level people can went for such materialistic thing. Some of the harsh reality of indian society also illustrated.

For some books, It takes little while to attach with the story, but how story started in this book, I attached with the story within 2 pages.

Illustration of some important relation of life described with the main character it makes you feel like you are reading such a true story which used to happen around your life but you didn't notice sometimes.

Also as book title suggests, Karma is the thing which is beyond human power. After all who did wrong for others, they will suffer in the end because of their deed.Indeed a good book to read.

Binge read for me...

Life is full of unexpected twists and turns that are something which we quite never anticipated or thought would occur.

But then, an event takes place in such a manner that it completely changes someone’s life in such a way that will leave them in shambles.

For our main protagonist of the story, Monika, from the book, ‘Karmic Threads’ by author Neelam Saxena Chandra, this life changing moment happens not once but multiple times.

The first instance happens when we see our main lead seemingly had it all, a very loving family, enough wealth to sustain and a happening life. But it all changes on a dime when her parents are taken from her.

The next setback or adversity that she faces is when she finds out that the man whom she married, the one person who was supposed to be there for her is the one who has duped her.

Now what subsequently ensues is a tale to show us how everything happens for a reason, and even though we might not understand it at that moment, there is always some plan in motion. Hence I am going to give this book FIVE STARS ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

"IS FATE GETTING WHAT YOU DESERVE OR DESERVING WHAT YOU GET?"

- Jodi Picoult

The story revolves around Monika who stays in the comfort of her family gets a sudden news of her parents' demise. She was not mature enough to understand her circumstances and go with the flow of her life. She fell in love, lived the moments of happiness with Gurpreet but Destiny has planned something different for her.

She married to Tanishk and moved to a foreign country. She thought her life is confined around his husband but Tanishk had some devious plan which broke her apart.
But
"KARMA SAYS MOUTH CAN LIE BUT EYES CANNOT. PEOPLE MAY FORGET KARMA WILL NOT".

The story is quite predictable, an avid reader can connect the dots what's going to happen. But I must say the writing style is really gripping that I couldn't stop reading the book.
The struggle of Monika has been portrayed really beautifully. The title gives hint of story line through karmic threads, the thread which will tide the culprit and shows the path to the needy.

Do you believe in Karma?

Without a doubt, I am. The title "Karmic Threads" piqued my interest, so I took it up.

The main theme of this story is the justice Monika received from those who had harmed her.

Born into a rich family, Monika lives with her parents. But destiny intervened and separated her from her parents. She consented to marry the man they picked for her, leaving her love alone, because she was taken care of by her kin. She relocates to Paris after getting married, dreaming big and looking forward to a new chapter in her life.

However, after getting his hands on Monika's wealth, her husband Tanisk abandoned her in a foreign country since he was only concerned with the money.

What happens to Monica? How will she survive?

This book has a beautiful cover with an interesting story line. It's emotional, fills you with rage at times and makes you question every wrong happening. Highly recommend this book.

QOTD :- Have you ever felt any injustice in your life? And have you ever fought against this injustice?

AOTD:- Yes, I have felt injustice a lot of times and I have fought for justice too.

The book, "Karmic Threads" is a book that revolves around the story of a girl named Monika, who has received a lot of pain in her life.

Monika has been betrayed many times in relationships.
The story deals with how she gets her justice from the people who have wronged with her.

There's an english proverb saying, "As you sow, so shall you reap".If you do bad to others then you won't get anything good in return.

What happens in the end? Will Monika get her justice?

To know about it, you need to read the book ☺🧡
The thoughts of love, loss, betrayal, injustice and Karma, are the major highlights. The language is simple and I need to say that the author has an amazing writing style😍. I completely fell in love with this book while reading.

Karmic Threads is a fascinating story about KARMA. We often think that we wouldn't be affected by the bad karma or we won't be rewarded for the good karma, but its not true. The god is watching and has full record of the same. Those actions only shape our destiny and life.

This story talks about the same and involves lots of drama, heartbreak and disloyalty. The protagonist, Monika has gone through so much problems in her life after an unfortunate accident that killed her family. Even after marriage, she was not destined to be happy and was left by her husband in a total unknown place far from her home and her country.

I can't express, how much i loved this book and felt connected with it. I know someone who has somewhat same story so i was able to step in someone's shoes and felt what its actually like.
The language and subtle narrative made this book totally worth it and entertaining. I am so in love with this one.

When the things are not happening according to out wish then there will be something planned unique for us in future.
Here in this story main protogonist is Monika. She has come across lot of hardships in her life. As things were not going well. She couldn't able to marry her love Gurpreet.
So she married Tanishk against her will, she flied to Paris, later she came to know that he is money minded. He only runs after the money.
These days many people mindset is like good people are suffering a lot. They are undergoing lot of pain.
But finally one thing we need to remember good only wins. We call it as karma, destiny or fate.
I felt many emotions pain, relief, hurt , heal and all.
I liked the Monika optimism in this book . She is very strong .
Finally this book is very good one.
Highly recommended this book. Cover page is nice.
Language is simple and easy to understand .
Happy reading

Monika's life goes through embers of troubles that keep giving her pain moment by moment. First, she loses her parents in an accident, and at the same time, she marries a person whom she did not like at all. She is forced to leave the person she used to love because of her destiny decision. But her life makes her stand at such a turning point which is full of difficulties. Tanishk was only in love with Monika's money, and not her. Life gives her many setbacks which she faces with great courage.

The author has depicted this story very beautifully. The character of Monika influenced me a lot. There is a lot to be learned from her character. I am also very impressed with the characters of Resham and Gurmeet.

But it is said that after every painful darkness, happy dawn indeed comes. To know whether the dawn of happiness will come in his life, Will her failed love be complete again? Read this story once.

Karmic Threads by Neelam Saxena Chandra is Monika's story after her husband leaves her robbing her of everything promised in a marital life including her wealth. The plot opens up with a poignant analysis of the dancing lights of Eiffel Tower, and that won my heart.
The writing very nicely explores the emotions of the characters eyes and does justice to its title 'Karmic Threads'. I loved Monika's character development and the backdrop where the story is set. I love a good story where the place or rather the city is used as a character with life infused in it and that's what the writer does here. I just fell in loved with this story.
Will recommend it to those who just enjoy reading a good plot, this one is for everyone. Really looking forward to reading more from the writer.

From the title, cover, concept and content, the author has made this novel so interesting. I felt all kinds of emotions, pain and relief, hurt and healing, weak and strong through the life of the young hero "Monica" in this story. The author has done a great job creating this story of Monica's life to tell us more about the karma and karmic threads of connection.

I loved Monica's pure spirit and learned so much from how she bravely faced her life's struggles.I can see the author's optimism through this strong character. And all the other characters are beautifully crafted to carry out the story so well.

The author clearly explains how relationships are established in the form of action and its effect on our consciousness through this wonderful story. Action is like the law of cause and effect.
The author narrated amazingly by making this novel more interesting till the end.

The book, Karmic threads written by Neelam Saxena Chandra published by Prabhat. This book deals with short stories; through the stories the author tries to connect it with Karma, that how the role we perform in our life and how our deeds decide our karma. In this book, the character named Monika used to live a very comfortable life with her parents but due to some tragic events she lost her parents. This episode became a turning point of her life; her life taking a new turn which is the most beautiful phase of this book in which the author has very beautifully taken you towards the journey of emotion and a karmic cycle.
The ending of the book encounters the very beautiful part which describes the title very well.

I love this book. Easy to read, you can pick it anytime and deals with short and sweet life changing stories

Karmic Threads is a story of Monika, where her miserable life starts after death of her husband. She was completely dependent on her husband for her finances or anything in the foreign country. She was a simple girl from Punjab and after this she cannot even go back to her Uncles house. She has no one in the city.

Although Monika was a daughter of renowned businessman, she became an orphan and her uncle took care of her and that's when challenges start happening in her life. She was getting through this tragedy when she had to face one more worst tragedy.

There were lot of emotions and the story is completely amazing. Author has creatively written few more characters. How Monica tries to find friend in this country. How life slaps her with good and bad. Everything was quite a nice journey.

The title is apt and give the book a try. You will enjoy it as well.

From consequently, the writer acquires various characters who, with their activities, weave the strings of fate around themselves as well as other people to such an extent that everybody gets what's because of them before the end.

Karmic Threads by Neelam Saxena Chandra primarily centers around the existence of Monika who leaves her affection, Gurpreet and settles down in Paris with her significant other Tanishk.
Be that as it may, Tanishk lets her be, forlorn and neglected in an unfamiliar land.
Her process has been written in a lovely manner. The highs and lows that she goes through, the penances she made are referenced.
The exciting bends in the road and the anticipation makes you think further in the event that Monika will get equity or not. Can her Karmic strings associate her to her tragically missing adoration, Gurpreet?
The story has been described flawlessly and the language is clear. The composing style is perfect.

We all know, whatever we do we all get the same fate in return which we call as Karma. Amd whenever we do something or something unplanned happens , we think there must be a hidden reason for it. This book shows the same concept.
Monika, the protagonist had ready suffered so much in life but she was much more devasted when she didn't get to marry her lover, and even her husband left her in Paris,a place with which she is not at all familiar.
I felt like the story could have been executed in a more perfect manner to express the emotions even more clearly. However the book is still much better than any other cringe romantic novels.
The language and narrative style is awesome and the vibrant cover looks too pretty at first glance. Loved it...!!

The book Karmic Threads is not just a story but about the life of Monika.

I must say, I had been hooked with the book from the start. The story just touches you in a way that you just want to read the book in one go. In the initial 60% of the book, the book brought out not only my emotions but different feeling I couldn't get the name of. The book dragged from 60-70% of the book as it was expected what will happen and you could foresee the end. Then again from 70% the book picks up and you want to know what actually happened.

Overall, it's not a quick-expected read. But it is worth the time you give to the book.

The book is a rollercoaster ride theough the life of the protagonist, Monika.
The book highlights familial jealousy, impudence, fight for property, greed, a hint of usurpation, treachery, betrayal, love, friendships and much more. The feeling of finding a known one in a strange land is beautifully enhanced, as is the hollowness of social standards such as professing love in front of a so called "romantic" spot.
The language is simple, the narration smooth and well paced with flashbacks here and there.
The title is interesting though it dies give a bit of the storyline!
The cover is dreamy and beautiful, quite catchy for the eye.
A good read at leisure.

Karmic Threads by Neelam Saxena Chandra mainly focuses on the life of Monika who abandons her love, Gurpreet and settles down in Paris with her husband Tanishk.
However, Tanishk leaves her alone, lonely and forsaken in a foreign land.
Her journey has been written in a beautiful way. The ups and downs that she goes through, the sacrifices she made are mentioned.
The twists and turns and the suspense makes you think deeper if Monika will get justice or not. Will her Karmic threads be able to connect her to her long-lost love, Gurpreet?
The story has been narrated beautifully and the language is lucid. The writing style is great.

Good job!

Losing her parents was one of the biggest losses of her life but just to keep the family's name intact she leaves her love of her life marrying someone chosen by her kin.
But going for her honeymoon and being abandoned over there was not what she expected. Read this amazing and unique story written in the most exceptional manner .
