Kaithlin Shepherd was born and raised in Canada where she learned to figure skate and where she crafted a love affair with coffee. Growing up in a household filled by strong headed women, she learned early on that life is what you make it. Creating a world away from her own day to day, she loves the feeling of creating a universe where her fans can forget about everything in their life. This is book five and the final book in The Brass series and it continues Kennedy and Blake's story and omg it is definitely a must read. Blake now has a bounty on his head and the only way to protect Kennedy and his friend's who are his family is for everyone to think that he died in a car accident and then go underground even though he knows that it will devastate Kennedy and his family he still needs to do this so that he can protect them and keep them safe while he finished what he started and then go home to Kennedy and put things right. Kennedy is absolutely heart broken and lost after Blake died and realising everything that they will miss out on but she is determined to find his killer and bring them to justice even if it is the last thing that she does as Blake was her everything and she will do this for him even though she feels like she is drowning and everything is crumbling around her but she is hoping that with the help of some people that she trusts she can finally do this for him. There are twists and turns along with danger, action, secret's, loss, heartbreak, kidnapping, family, hope, love and a really big roller coaster ride of emotions that had me crying but still I couldn't put this book down as it was so addictive and I had to keep turning the pages to see what would happen next and I absolutely loved the outcome and the amazing end to this action packed series. Kaithlin Shepherd is an amazing author and writer and the depth of her story's are what makes you go back to read more of her book's and I can't wait to see what she writes next as her book's are definitely worth reading.

When you love someone you will go to any length to keep them safe even let them go- just for a little while. But by leaving Blake brigs more heartache than Kennedy could bare, taking matters into her own hands she will avenge Blake no matter the cost. Well written final book in the series with action suspense, twists galore, drama and more.

Read the re-release of this book (was a beta-reader for it). I think it did an excellent job of picking up where Fraudulent left off. We get more insight on their characters relationships and pasts. This book has it all romance, suspense, mystery, action, and some spice. I highly recommend if you’re looking for a quick read!

I feel like this was the perfect way to end the series - I don’t think anything else would have done these characters justice and I’m just glad that, for the time being, they can all relax and don’t have to deal with any more shit from anyone.
