Well written, and a quite interesting plot. It could have been confusing if it hadn't been so well organized. The reader sees the mistakes the protagonist is making and anticipates where they could lead. Will he figure it out before it's too late?
This has to be the best Cliff Ford Mystery so far, I think they keep getting better. This one has twists that make it unpredictable and keeps one on the edge of the seat. I also love that it has no foul language and is written from a Christian perspective. I sure hope there is more of these to come!
Terry Toler books are the BEST! Yet again, Terry keeps us on our toes with a rollercoaster of events and characters that take us on a suspenseful ride!!! Buckle your seat belts for this one!!!
Watching a criminal walk out of court as a free man made Cliff Ford feel crazy. He is sure that man is guilty and is determined to catch him in another crying. What ends up happening throughout the plot of this book is definitely unexpected and unpredictable. Another enjoyable Cliff Hanger. And I am intrigued to see if there will be more books in the series. Perhaps in a new location?
PS This book is definitely written for adults. While I do not think the details are over the top, there are descriptions of both acts and crimes that could and should be disturbing for young audiences. Only grownups should read this one.
Another good book from Terry Toler. Detective Cliff Ford puts Clay in prison a couple of times, but he keeps getting out on BS. Justice is finally served when his friend who he got to lie for him gives him his payback. Nice story.
