I really appreciated how understandable this book is. The author carefully explains multiple end time viewpoints through the lens of Scripture. I loved how gracious his spirit is while maintaining the seriousness of Biblical eschatology. Carefully written, easy to understand.

I would say it’s got a lot of good information and makes a compelling case for modern Premill. I definitely feel more knowledgeable on this topic, and I like how it was not unnecessarily long.

The only downside I would say is that because I barely knew anything about prophecy (it’s an intro book) it was confusing sometimes. He would start talking about the book of Daniel and I had no idea what he was mentioning. He would ask rhetorical questions as an objection to something and I had no idea what the question meant. HOWEVER, overall these downsides are actually VERY minor, and a quick few google searches should solve any confusion.

Overall, I would say it’s a great intro book to eschatology, and I would recommend it for sure. I’m actually gonna let my friend borrow it too because I think it’s a great resource.
