Pray | 5 Week Study | Cultivating a passionate practice of prayer
Prayer is hard. Harder than it seems it should be. We are busy, distracted, and unsure if our time spent in prayer is actually amounting to anything. We want to have a vibrant, passionate prayer life, but instead we may have one that is cold and apathetic. What is the cure for this? It is a true, biblical understanding of prayer.

I spent a lot of 2023 studying prayer through this and a handful of other books/tools - and I can’t recommend this study enough! I loved walking through the Lord’s Prayer and it’s something I will 100% come back to reference. It was instrumental in growing my prayer life this year.
5 week study? How about almost two years. But in all seriousness this has become such a sweet little time capsule for me. I’m not sure what I was expecting when I first ordered this book but it definitely exceeded my expectations. It was surprisingly theologically rich, thought provoking, and I learned a lot. This book walked alongside me through recurring miscarriages, a stressful twin pregnancy, two happy healthy babies, to other big prayer requests where God went above and beyond answering. Even though I started this a long time ago so much of it has stuck with me. I particularly loved their explanation on prayers of lament, it’s timing coincided perfectly with my life circumstances and definitely left a lasting impression on me. Isn’t it cool how God works those things out? I also like how at the end it’s not just over and it’s like the author wishes you good luck with the rest of your prayer life’s life! They have other resources that you can move on to in order to keep the momentum going and truly blossom your prayer life. This book has definitely improved my prayers and I will be going through it again! This gets a “would recommend” from me.
One of my spiritual growth goals for 2024 is to bolster my prayer life. This book was a thorough introduction to the why, how, where, what, and when of praying. Each day incorporated the Lord’s Prayer, which I eventually stopped using because I prefer to pray aloud instead of writing down prayers. Nonetheless, I appreciated the constant pointing back to Christ and the Gospel as the basis of all prayers. I feel better equipped to approach the throne of grace with confidence and in anticipation of talking with my Father. The videos that were included in the Daily Grace Co app were a great bonus.
Prayer has always been a struggle point for me, yet it is so important for all believers! This prayer study ignited my prayer life on fire! It gave me such an understanding of prayer, how to pray, what to pray for, & so much gratitude for God & who He is & how He works. This study has made me look forward to prayer time in a way I never have before. If you are looking to improve your prayer life, this study is the one!
This was one of my favorite devotional/study from Daily Grace I’ve done. It really impacted my prayer life, made me more consistent, confident, and devoted in my prayers. It really helped form deep prayer habits, and I am so grateful for that, especially as we experienced trying seasons; my prayers really brought me peace through pain.
This was a great study to focus on prayer and the importance of it. Wouldn’t go down as my favorite Bible study or anything but helped me shape my prayer life more.
Absolutely loved this study! Highly recommend for those who are struggling with prayer or in need of a resource to help establish a daily habit in prayer.
