Hedgehogs, Dragons, Lynx's, Oh my!
This book is about a second member in the Array finding his fated mate. Although their journey was not an easy one. Garrick has had a rough past and hasn't wanted anything to do with his magic. Until one day it awakens and he has no choice but to listen to it. It ends up taking him to someday who's been scheming against Garrick for years, however, despite Garrick's inner self warning him to stay away Garrick doesn't listen. Which brings Lennox into the picture. However, even though Lennox recognized Garrick as his mate when he first smelled him, Garrick was under a spell preventing him to recognize who Lennox is to him.
These two have to go through a lot together in order to try to stop the people who were causing not only them so much pain but also others as well. I think that The Array is a really unique concept, I love the magic and the shifter element in these books. There's always something surprising to learn in each book which I enjoy, and Garrick and Lennox's characters were so unique! They were both shifters but they also had magic which was so cool! The only reason I rated this lower is because while I loved the buildup of the story and us getting the background story of the two MC's it felt like things hit fast-forward in the middle of the book that didn't really fit? Once these two meet each other the pace of the story sped up, which was quite odd to me.
Other than that though I enjoyed the book and I'm looking forward to reading about the rest of The Array.

HEROIC*MAGICAL
Oh this was a FANTASTIC Book!!! Garrick and Lennox are part of the never ending struggle between darkness and light. Garrick is sad and disillusioned by the magic he had stolen from him. Living his life, everyday just isn't as satisfying as it once was. Lennox is being pulled in different directions. Darkness is tugging at his sleeve and it's getting harder to ignore. These two meet in a battle and both survive. How strong they are together is the biggest battle of all. Helena is back, weaving her special magic and keeping track of her loved ones. This is a SENSATIONAL Book. I absolutely loved it. Holly Oliver does a great job of not making the magic too complicated or over used. Everything is not about spells. This is really a great Book I couldn't put down. Looking forward to MORE. I HIGHLY, HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS BOOK AND THIS FATED FANTASIES DATING SERVICE SERIES!!!!!!!!!!!!

As book one introduced us to the Array, and the unique world that the author has built for us, we got to know Freddie and Archie and their big found family. Book 2 digs deeper into the forces at play, and the dangers that face the members of the Array. Garrick and Lennox are thwarted several times before they finally meet in person, but when they do, their fated bond hits them immediately, and the last half of the book has them finding their way together as they complete a quest only they can take on. I look forward to the rest of this series!

Book one was a flurry of worldbuilding, with almost too much going on. Book two is a bit more relaxed with Oliver letting the MCs carry the storyline. You also get a clearer picture of the dragon, Helena. It's a fated mates tale with danger, a bit of angst and some sweet loving. And like Helena at the book's end, you wonder who is next.

Loved It
This is the second book in the series. I loved this book more than the first. Garrick is a sweet person, tries his hardest to be light hearted. Lennox straddles the line between light and dark, once he meets his mate he decides he will be if the light.
They’re mating makes them stronger.

I enjoyed this story even more than book one. We get more information about what's going on but we also get more questions. I can't wait for book three.
