C.J. Sears is an American author born in the southern United States. He began writing at a very young age, starting with fanfiction, and worked his way through learning his craft in college.

In 2013, he graduated from Arkansas Tech University with a Bachelor's Degree in Creative Writing. Following a short stint at a mundane job, C.J. started work on what would eventually become "The Shadow Over Lone Oak" - his first novel. Inspired by C.J.'s favorite horror franchises, this book became the launching pad for an entire series centered around federal agent Llewyn Finch.

With new beginnings in 2021, C.J. aims to unleash all three novels in the "This Fallen World" trilogy in the fall/winter period.
