I love our national parks so I enjoyed these short stories and poems about them (some more than others).

Cute. A fun read to go over a short story per day or so. Romanticizes (in a good way) nature and the national parks.

Neat concept, fun to read while visiting the parks within. I wish the art at the beginning of the section for each park were printed in colour, that would have really added to my enjoyment of it

My summary - more short stories from different national parks, including the Grand Canyon, Everglades, Olympic, Glacier, Joshua Tree, as well as the Atlantic and Pacific Crest Trail. I enjoyed these the most.

I liked the first book so much I bought this second one before finishing the first one, as soon as I saw it at the Yosemite bookstore. It’s the same thing as the last one; a collection of hiking stories, Native American tales, poems, and other short stories, but this time surrounding 5 national parks AND the Appalachian and Pacific Crest trails. These last two add some spice to the stories, and are distinct from the other ones; focusing more on the journey than the location by nature of the setting. No reason not to get this if you liked the first one.
