Nothing in this world is free. The sooner you realize that, the better.
As a woman in a man's world, I have to work twice as hard to bring home half as much as my male counterparts. Time is money, and apparently having tits makes my time worth less.
Being a woman doesn't stop me from out performing and destroying them all as the top corporate lawyer in my city. I've worked my ass off to be the best, so I can afford every luxury my heart desires. Diamonds? Check. Emeralds? Check. The sweet smell of a new leather purse dripping in 24-karat gold? Drool, and double check!
That is until a gorgeous man in a stunning suit rips it all away from me with a one-way ticket to Hell. As in, actual Hell. And that one-way ticket? A knife through my heart.
This demon is going to regret making me the Queen of Greed. Possessing Greed may have been my greatest sin, but it's also going to be my strongest asset in the sparkling, frozen tundra of Hell's first Circle.
Possessing Greed is a novel in the multi-author shared world, Sons of Satan. Be sure to read all seven books for a hellish good time! This book is for audiences 18 and over due to mature language and content. Possessing Greed is a reverse harem romantic stand-alone with an HEA.

S.A. Mackenzie is a Canadian writer of all things love and steam. She has been a hopeless romantic all of her life and loves to read and watch every sappy romance and rom-com she can find. In her downtime she likes to kick back with a good book or enjoy some couch potato time with video games.
This was a tough one. If I remember rightly this was added to the TBR because it was the first in a multi-author series. I didn't like it. I knew the FMC didn't like men in the blurb and then again in opening chapter and every other time mentioned after that. I skipped the monologues. From the get go I didn't like the main character. Men are vitamin D, she's queen and screw anyone else. I didn't like how she treated her assistant or anything about her. Then she gets stabbed and taken to Hell by the prince of greed. Suddenly everything is an act and she's feral. She's also a hypocrite and it gets insta-love.
I liked Vesper. He was cool, he had a role and apart from the pair was probably one of the most genuine connections. The prince was a man-child and the anti-harem guy for this one, constantly squabbling with the fmc. Rathe and Orion were okay, but instead of building a connection to them, they get sidelined for Orion's brother Elias. So OP FMC that has daddy issues, four guys and their prince, and a lot of Frozen references. It was choppy and insta-love. Vesper and the bear were cool.

3.5 stars This is a good start into the Sons of Satan world and I'm looking forward to reading all the different books. This is an enemies-to-lovers story, with demons, tethers, a kick-@ss fmc and a HEA. Tate just wants a hookup, but what she gets is killed and taken to hell. Tate is a female lawyer in a mans world, she's learnt the hard way that you don't give anyone an inch if you want to get ahead. Her drive is to gain wealth and shiny things, and she's fought hard to get the power and luxury she enjoys, she was a perfect match for Greed. I did struggle to like Tate sometimes. I liked her human side more than her demon. As a human she was relatable, she was driven and career focused, using her upbringing to her advantage. As a demon I found her to be overly arrogant, and the way she strutted around just seemed to rub me the wrong way sometimes. She accepted her new role very well and dealt with whatever came her way. The guys were an interesting mix and devoted to Tate. I enjoyed the overall story and the way the world works and how is was being corrupted had a few twists. There was lots of action and fighting, along with steamy times with her guys. I also liked the little references to the other sin demons from the other books in the series.
Tate is a really practical woman and as a lawyer she has set up rules for herself to live by and succeed in a man's world. This really is an asset to her when she is taken to one of the circle's of Hell to be their queen. The world in interesting and the steamy moments are great. This is a reverse harem novel and I was hoping to get to see all of them with her at the same time, but that doesn't really happen. The overall relationships between them are interesting, but I would have loved to see them become deeper and taken more time to evolve. I feel like they were "Hey, you're my tether, awesome!" and then instantly they all love each other, except for Adrian. I loved her "familiar" the luminous bear, the interaction and the effect he had on them was perfect. This is a quick read and a stand alone story. It will be interesting to see how the other works of this series compliment each other and continue the plot. If you are looking for something quick, easy to read, and a happily ever after, you've found a good one!
Possessing Greed is book #1 in A Sons of Satan shared world. It's a paranormal reverse harem.
Tate is a badass, snarky, boss!!! I love her!! She works as a lawyer, and is treated like crap by men, but doesn't take their crap at all. When she attends a gala, she meets Adrian.
Adrian is a demon and The Prince of Greed. He came to the gala with the sole purpose of finding a soul to take back to Hell with him to help break the curse that was put on him. When he sees Tate, he knows shes the one. He does a ritual on her then takes her to Hell with him so she can help him take the throne.
But, Tate fights back more then he expects, has a lumi bear for a familiar, has more power than him, and she has 5 hot demon mates. Adrian, Rafe, Orion, Vespar and Elias.
I want my own Sadiki!!! I love him! And I love Tate! She kicks so much butt and is just awesome. Her mates are all amazing too!!! I loved this book and can't wait for more in this world!
Tate has worked hard in the human world to rise above the the sexist men who want to keep her down. Her motivation — greed, she loves all the pretty shiny things.
During a charity gala she catches the eye of Adrian, son of Satan and ruler of Greed. His need to possess Tate leads him to dragging her to hell within.
But not all the well and Greed is slowly dying, it’s up to Tate and Adrian to work together to save the kingdom.
Tate is a strong and independent woman, who has a hard outer exterior and a no F— given attitude. She is determined to follow the course she lays out for herself and must learn to work well with others in this new world.
All the demons who fall into Tate’s tether bonds bring their own elements to the group making it nicely rounded. There are some pretty steamy scenes to be had with all these demons.
A great start for this shared world, I look forward to find out about the other sons of Satan!
You know that term, when hell has frozen over? Well this new take on hell is frozen and I am here for it. Tate is a fierce lawyer who chews men up and spits them out for a living until one day she encounters Adrian, Satan's son who greedily wants her for himself. He whisks her away to his frozen underworld only to find out she might have more power than he does. Someone whose primary trait is greed does not take that too well and the interactions between the two of them were amazing. I am here for it and all of her men, but especially her giant bear of a familiar.....um can I have one please.... Loved this standalone and the interesting take on the 7 rings of hell!!!
Possessing Greed is book 1 in the Sons of Satan shared world. Tate (MFC) has a strength to her personality and funny, I giggled a few times, I appreciate a character that is strong in her convictions and chooses to accept her new reality as opposed to just laying down and accepting. Thankfully along with a strong female she has strong Tethers and a familiar who know how to guide her on saving this realm of Hell. This author has a talent for developing amazing characters, I was impressed by Tate's ability to adapt and take Hell by the horns to save those she had come to love. P.S. I want a Lumi Bear....
Wow what a ride! Honestly this book was a brilliantly constructed, and easy-to-picture, world with amazing characters and some real steamy scenes! I want to focus for a moment on Tate and the things she comes out with, because I was laughing out loud at times, and isn't that just the perfect addition to a well-written and steamy AF book?
I loved all of her tethers as well, and the twists with the overseers that I didn't see coming throughout the book. Her familiar? OMG I want one please.
All in all, a thrilling ride, with everything you could want from a book set in hell, and a great opener to the shared world series that I'm so excited to experience!
Possessing Greed is a wonderful start to this new shared world which sets the stage to the what and why things are happening as they are. Tate is a strong FMC who rolls with the punches and pushes to bring Greed's circle of Hell back to its former glory. Each of the guys that are connected to Tate bring something different to the relationship plus there are some really hot steamy moments. I enjoyed everything from the character/relationship development and the action filled fights. Possessing gGreed was a fantastic standalone and I can't wait to see more into this shared world!
This is an awesome standalone book. Tate is a strong independent woman who has a bit of greed in her in her human life. Adrian finds her at a charity party and decides she is who he is looking for to break a curse. Of course nothing is as you would assume. Adrian and Tate butt heads, Elias, Orion, Rafe, and Vespar are ready to serve their Queen. Definitely a must read.
Love the story building! Potential spoilers ahead! It was such a great concept that hell was divided by the sins but then Satan’s Children each ruled their sin and separate world of Hell. Tate is such a great, fierce FMC. She is my she-ro when it comes to standing up for what’s right and for women. The men in her harem are a good mix of personalities that complement her in the best ways. Eventually you start to love Adrian, but her other men are Insta-love. Can’t wait for the other worlds!
Who doesn’t love demonic reverse harems?! Tate is fierce and each of her tethers have unique but complimentary personalities. S.A. Mackenzie did an amazing job luring you to the first of seven circles of hell with great characters, exciting action and steamy passion. This first book in a seven part collaboration can be read as a stand alone but once you finish I think you will want to visit the other 6 circles of Hell as well.
Possessing greed is the first book in the shared world of Sons of Satan and what a fantastic start to a new series. I love how Tate is a strong female who will roll with the punches and plans to bring greed back to it's original glory with the help of her tethers; who help in different ways. This has a great plotline which just draws you in with hot steamy moments and a bit of mystery that will keep you guessing. I cannot wait to see what happens in the other books in the series. This is my first book by S.A Mackenzie and it won’t be my last.
I love love loves this book. Tate is the FMC and that girl is tough as nails, she is the embodiment of greed, she works hard as a lawyer in a man’s world to prove woman can do it better. Add in satans son, kidnapping, a curse and hell, and you got this wonderful piece of work. I read it all in one sitting. Loved it. It’s a quick fast why-choose romance standalone.
This was a unique story, with a different type of world than I have read before. I loved this take on the 7 rings of hell and how the world was developed and discussed. I liked the characters and reading the character and relationship developments. I definitely laughed out loud at times. This was a great standalone and start to the shared world.
At least for this soon to be Queen greed is good. This is a fun new twist on the Seven Gates of Hell or Seven Deadly Sins however you like to call it. Adrian and Tate are pretty evenly matched in attitude and force of nature. I can't wait to read the rest of the series. I have voluntarily left this review.
Wonderful characters, great plot development, and I liked the storyline. This was a great book to start off a whole new world, and cannot wait to dive into more characters and their story.
Tate is everything we hope for in a female character especially with her personality, and what she goes through, overcomes, and succeeds at.
Fantastic book where it is centered around the sin greed. Now Tatevis trying to turn things around in the group. I love that she is strong and I also enjoy that the guys all bring something different in the group making them unique and I love each for other reasons. Greedy here myself as I'm for sure reading other books by this author!
This book has a lot of sass from Tatum. She is a human that is lawyer in a mans world and takes no crap from anyone. When she meets Adrian the Prince of Greed amd he kills her to bring her to hell they have a fiery explosion. Thus book has truths to be learned enimies to face and a circle of hell to save.
Gotta say this book is something else. Tate is a strong independent female and it definitely shows not to mention her personality is something that really gets you interested and entertained. I look forward to more from this series definitely worth the read.
From boss attorney to demon queen in about a week. I couldn’t get into the story. Very little chemistry between the characters. Weird story line. Not enough info for it to make sense.
This book was so good. The prince was a jerk that needed a throat punch extremely bad. The other guys were pretty awesome from the start. I absolutely love her familiar.
Possessing greed is the first book in the world of Sons of Satan. And it’s a fantastic start to a new series. I love how strong Tate is. Will definitely be reading the rest of this awesome series. 👍🏻
This fmc is a spitfire. lol Her snark will keep you laughing for days. I love the familiar in this story, and I want a Sadiki for myself! Tons of steam in this action packed adventure. Great read!
