I'm a writer, a pagan, and a witch, and consequently love all things magical. I write fictional books about witchcraft and the paranormal, and they are jam-packed with fabulous characters, colourful settings, plenty of action, and lots of humour.
I was born in England, in the Black Country, but moved to New Zealand in 2006. I lived near Wellington with my partner Jase, and my cats Sacha and Leia. However, in April 2022 we moved again! Yes, I like making my life complicated… I’m now living in the Algarve in Portugal, and loving the fabulous weather and people. When I’m not busy writing I read lots, indulge in gardening and shopping, and I love yoga.
Confession time! I’m a Star Trek geek – old and new – and love urban fantasy and detective shows. Secret passion – Columbo! Favourite Star Trek film is the Wrath of Khan, the original! Other top films – Predator, the original, and Aliens.
In a previous life I was a singer in a band, and used to do some acting with a theatre company. For more on me, check out a couple of my blog posts. I have also written a blog about how I finally became comfortable about calling myself a witch. It's called Leaning into my Witch.
I loved the adventure. I enjoyed the split stories happening. I can't stop loving all the White Haven characters. I was not sure about Harlan for a while but he grew on me. I see Jackson as Tom Felton when I read it and I love it.
The Nights Templar had always held a fascination with me, their purpose, their deeds, their secrets, their history. As a history buff, it was really great being immersed in this slice of history again. I highly commend the author for her extensive research. We all have heard of the treasure the Nights Templar supposed his and when the team were hired by the eccentric Theo to find the treasure, it sounded like a perfect little mystery for them to solve, although they are doubtful the treasure actually does exist, they're ready for a relatively simple undertaking. Only.... yes... that's right....WHEN have their endeavours ever been simple??? Boy can they find trouble! Or maybe trouble finds them? They also discover they're not the only ones trying to figure out where the treasure is, leading to some hair-raising and dangerous events. And Black Cronos seems to be everywhere!
Ash is so cool, his penchant for knowledge and how to obtain it, is typically nerdified. He's probably my favourite. Although I must make mention how much I enjoy how diversely unique all the characters are, each one has a different stanse yet their bond is undeniable. I adore the banter and good natured jobs. Poor Lucien, I really felt for his predicament, to be something, someone you detest must be the hardest pill to swallow.
I love the pacing, i love the genuineness of this magical crew, and the almost casual, laid back way they use their powers. The build up is flawless and an action packed book, but most of all, I truely enjoy a book that has a distinct beginning and end, even when part of a series, it's a complete read, with the hint of new adventures to continue and I can't wait for more!
I am a fan of TJ and am so lucky to be part.of.her ARC team. This is the 5th book in the hunters series and I absolutely loved it. Full of action, suspense, intrigue and of course some.magic thrown in. Learning more and more about Shadow and the Nephilim and loving how their characters and stories are developing. And of.course Harlan and Jackson also playing a big part in the search for the Knights Templar Treasure. Another stonker! You won't be disappointed!
All the Nephilim plus Shadow and Estelle are involved in two different ventures in this book. Barak and Estelle are in France following a lead they had about a chateau which turned out to be more than they had anticipated. Black Cronos seemed to be affiliated to the people carrying out tours of their olive presses. They ended up rescuing a prisoner, Lucien who was sent to the safe house in the UK with Jackson. The Comte de Saint-Germaine was behind the creation of the perfect warriors, humans enhanced through alchemy and metals which they had tattooed over their bodies turning them invincible. Whilst Shadow, Gabe and the rest of the Nephilim were in England searching for Templar treasure. Harlan had called for their help when Theo an old and rich eccentric found a dagger with symbols on its hilt, which he believed would lead them to the treasure sought after by many over so many years. Everyone's lives were in danger and Black Cronos were unscrupulous but they were not the only group interested in finding this treasure. Bombs started going off all over Temple Moreton, the small and till then quiet village where Temple Keep was located. A group of modern day Knights calling themselves the Knights of Truth and Justice believed the treasure belonged to them and would not let anyone else get their hands on it no matter how many died. This book is full of action on both fronts and danger galore keeps the reader involved and fearing for our friends lives till the last page.
Next episode of the White Haven Hunters with Shadow, Gabe and the Nephilim plus Estelle with two different but I suspect ultimately related adventures.
Barak and Estelle are in France following a lead they had about a chateau which turns out to involve Great Fun. Black Cronos, a likely controller with the The Comte de Saint-Germaine around their desire to create the perfect warrior slave, humans enhanced through alchemy and metals which render them horribly invincible.
Shadow, Gabe and the remaining Nephilim are at home searching for Templar treasure. Notwithstanding the concerns around Black Cronos, a group calling themselves the Knights of Truth and Justice believed the treasure belonged to them (as Templars) and are ruthless in their execution (sometimes literally) of their quest.
As always, we are treated to action on both fronts and danger galore keeps you involved and fascinated at the invention of TJ Green. Bring on the next episode, I say.
The hunters continue on their treasure hunt. It's exciting and fast paced.
Gabe and Shadow are still working for the Orphic Guild and this time they are hunting for a famous artifact. Shadow is thrilled with all the excitement. They are exploring a temple and the Nephillims are all involved in some ways. Barak and Estelle are closer together and their romance is blooming. There are so many secrets attached to their quest whilst Black Cronos continues with experimenting to accomplish the creation of lethal warriors.
It's well paced and well portrayed. They all work well together and it's amazing how they all come together in the end. Very well orchestrated and thrilling. A very good read.
What can i say about the 5th installment of the White Haven Hunters, TJ Green has once again excelled herself. She manages to run 2 storylines at once and keep you hooked. Shadow, Gabe and the rest of the Nephillium, as well as Estelle, and the rest of the regular characters are kept busy and narrowly avoid death on numerous occasions. With the Black Cronos in one storyline and the Knights Templars in the other, you are kept on the edge of your seat the whole way through the book.
The book develops all the characters and gives new insights into their relationships. I struggled to put the book down and now i cant wait to see what happens next. Thanks TJ and roll on the next adventure.
I have been eagerly awaiting the release of number 5 in the series and it was worth waiting for! I found it hard to put this book down. The twists and turns of the two adventures in this book have you turning the pages quicker and quicker. The story of The Black Cronos deepens and the relationships between the brothers and new and old characters develops too. The only reason I gave this book 4 stars was because the ending seemed quite abrupt and left so many questions. I hope that they will answered in book 6!
I’m so enthralled with this series and the original series it spins from (White Haven Witches) that I must confess, I inhale and devour each book. The characters are swimming in personality, a bit of snark, intrigue and mystery and the world building and research are beyond incredible. I have too many favorites in this series so I will just say, no matter which one is your favorite, you are in excellent company! TJ Green puts the exclamation mark to her story telling every time and this one is no exception.
Here we gooooo!!! Another thrilling, time leaping, excitement ridden book !! A gentle start, a burgeoning life changing love, in the balmy vineyards of France. A new friend- or foe. But…. that’s the quiet bit ! Now… buckle up, gird on your armour, ( put aside your dislike of deep deep underground passages) because you will *WALK*every step of the way, *SMELL* the cold buried earth , and …. breathe!! A must read!!! Sue Luffman Exeter
I loved this next installment of the white haven Hunters series. Shadow and most of the nephilim go on another treasure hunt looking for templar treasure. What I am loving about this series is the continuing story of black cronos, this edition sees Barak and Estelle on the hunt for black cronos. As always loads of page turning action, magic, further character development and a dash of romance and sexual tension
This is a wonderful addition to this thrilling series! Wonderful well written plot and story line that had me engaged from the start. Love the well fleshed out characters and found them believable. Great suspense and action with wonderful world building that adds so much to the story. Such a thrilling read that I couldn't put it down. Can't wait to read more of these. Recommend reading.
I read a complimentary advance copy of the book; this is my voluntary and honest review.
This is my favourite book in this series, I finished waited a week and reread it. That’s not something I’ve ever done before! It was exciting from start to finish and although there were 2 storylines, Barak and Estelle on the trail of Black Cronus in France and Gabe, Shadow and the other Nephiliam plus Harlan on the trail of Knights Templar treasure in Kent, it was not complicated to read. The storylines blended smoothly and raced along at a fast pace. Well done TJ another brilliant book.
Treasure Hunting! Go on an interesting, exciting adventure to find lost Templar Treasure, with plenty of twist and turns. Another part of the team is gathering information on Black Cronos. They face their own trials in this unpredictable, informative story. Just find the story lacking a bit of description on the locations.
Absolutely amazing!! Just when I think the plots can’t get any better!! Particularly loved the link between older and more modern history and more recent 20th Century history. Also really enjoyed the development of the slower burning storylines e.g. Black Cronos and the relationship between Barak and Estelle. More books SOON please!!
Another great book from TJ Green in the White Haven Hunters series. As always I can’t put her books down but I don’t want them to end. The characters are so engaging, the storylines intriguing. You feel transported to a different world where anything is possible. I love the historical and paranormal content. Hints to many other adventures to come too.
T J Green has done it again with another outstanding book. It is another gripping adventure from page one to the end that I could not put down. The characters and setting is so realistic you feel that you are there with them every step of the way. Looking forward to the next adventure with some of my favorite characters.
Alternating adventures featuring the two "power couples", Barak and Estelle hunting evil alchemists in France and Shadow and Gabe searching for Templar treasure in Kent. Though of course many others get into the act as well. Who isn't fascinated by the Templars and their hidden hoard? Strong storylines, dramatic events, vivid characters, and plenty of dead bodies, as usual.
A knockout read with the Whitehaven Hunters book 5. The joint Nephilim, Human and Other-Shadow really getting into their stride. Without a doubt, a reread is essential.
I loved this book, it kept me wondering what was going to happen next, so much happening. Loved the history and locations, made me feel like I was there with them. Can't wait to see what happens in the next book.
This book is a wonderful continuation of the White Haven Hunters Series. It interweaves multiple story lines along with interesting historical facts. The stories keep you engrossed and anxious to quickly get to the end while hating the fact that the book has ended. Can't wait for the next book.
T. J. Green has, as always, given us a great read. Shadow, Gabe and the Nephilim begin to search Theo's castle in Kent for Templar Treasure. In France Barak & Estelle find a Black Cronos nest and enjoy their time alone. Lots of action and some Templar antics. Read on ......
Two stories running side by side, I read this last night and I thought it was a great read. I couldn’t put it down. It can be read as a stand alone book but I would highly recommend the whole series.
What a great read this book was! Totally engrossing, well written and with very interesting characters throughout. A very interesting subject of the Knights Templar too. Would recommend to anyone who enjoys myth and magic or even historical drama. In fact all TJ Green books was well worth reading.
I absolutely love this series! I can not get enough! Literally finished the book in 3 days because I could not put it down!!! Can not wait for the next one to come out!!! You are my favorite author by far! I have read every book you have published!!! #biggestfan
Loving the history lessons! A great story from start to finish! Thieves, Nephilim, witches, Templar treasure and labs to create super-humans...this book contains every fantasy adrenaline junkies dream of. And the history lesson at the end is the icing on the cake! Loved every minute of it!
I have just read Midnight Fire and found it very exciting, it was complicated with twists and turns at every page. This author is a prolific writer and I find her writing compelling reading and look forward to every new book. Once hooked you have to keeping reading.
This is the 5th book in the series and it is awesome. The story just keeps getting better. The characters you have learned to love seem real and we learn more about there relationships and the part they play in the story. This book and the series is definitely a must read.
Fast paced and funny! Twists and turns and TJ Green delivers yet another stunning success!! If you like adventure with fantastic characters come alone for this wild ride. You won’t be disappointed!
Loved this latest installment and look forward to the next. Was hooked from the 1st page. The characters are some of my favourites and I think TJ has created a real extension of the Whitehaven series.
