I really enjoyed this book. Despite a lot of scientific terms, I found myself googling images of trees I found interesting. Top 3 trees I hope to see in person one day:
1. Rainbow Eucalyptus
2. Looking Glass Mangrove
3. Swollen Baobab

Another beautiful illustrative book from Kelsey!
Quinn loved the artwork and I loved the facts.
Here are some: notable trees are in undisclosed locations to protect them, the humongous fungus spans more than 2000 acres, the tallest tree is Hyperion - a coast redwood, and I need to talk to more trees!!

Another pretty illustrated book! This one is Trees by Kelsey Oseid.
This book explores fascinating world of trees and plants from different parts of the world. It introduces you to different species, their unique characteristics, where they grow, and the incredible ways they’ve adapted to their environtments. It’s the kind of book that makes you realise just how diverse and fascinating the natural world really is.
AND I LOVED IT!!!
I loved learning all the little facts throughout the book, especially discovering plants I had never even heard of before. But, honestly, the illustrations were just as enjoyable as the information itself. Every page feels like a tiny piece of botanical museum, and I could spend so much time just looking af the details.
Another thing I loved the most? This book made the world feel so much bigger. There are so many unique and beautiful plants scattered across different corners of the planet, and now I just want to see them all in real life.
Lastly, this book is a beautiful little reminder that nature has so many stories to tell, and there’s still so much of it left to discover.

This is a beautifully written and illustrated book. The paper quality and colors are high quality, making it a joy to turn the pages. I got the book from my local library but I would love to add this book to my home. I would highly recommend to anybody interested in trees, beautiful illustration or in just high quality books. Information is presented logically, sometimes comically and was entertaining throughout.

July 4, 2023I bought this book because it is stunningly illustrated. However, it's so much more than that. It is informative without being dry, and entertaining but clearly well researched. The amount of detail is perfect for this style of book. I read the whole thing.
