Yet again I am so so impressed by these books, and how captivating they are. At first I had to get my brain back to what was happening in the book, but once I got into it, I didn't want to put it down.
We have Shane again and her partner Elias, on their adventures.
This book we have deeper character building of the assassins group overall and how they function. There is more magic, more twists.
You learn a lot more about the magical world before hand, and about Airel and the land before.
I am waiting for Book #3... I can't wait!!!

Fantastic!
An amazing story to come from any mind, especially the mind of a high school student. The relationships are nuanced, the situations are far from simple, and the story telling is superb. I pay her the best complement I can...that of asking for more.
