Yet again I am so so impressed by these books, and how captivating they are. At first I had to get my brain back to what was happening in the book, but once I got into it, I didn't want to put it down.

This book we have deeper character building of the assassins group overall and how they function. There is more magic, more twists.
You learn a lot more about the magical world before hand, and about Airel and the land before.
An amazing story to come from any mind, especially the mind of a high school student. The relationships are nuanced, the situations are far from simple, and the story telling is superb. I pay her the best complement I can...that of asking for more. Gimme the next book! (But keep your grades up too)
Congratulations to Landry Johnson for this amazing series. It’s hard to find such an interesting and exciting author who not only writes intelligently but also provides a top rated plot, characters and excitement in the story. I’m really looking forward to the next book in the seri
