Human Mazie Kettler left home to make the world a better place taking assignments on projects worldwide. She has heard of Gerri Wilder and wasn't sure that she believed all the stories about her. Then she meets dragon shifter Pyrus Bloodmoon who came flying into their camp to save the day and it made her heart beat faster. Pyrus is doing his best to protect his employees from the actions of his ex-business partner but when his fated mate comes into his life she becomes the centre of his priorities. The ex-business partner uses Mazie as a pawn in his twisted game testing how far Pyrus will go to save her but he is willing to fight to the death to save her.
This story had the usual ingredients of Gerri giving the right environment for them to meet, leaving it up to the shifter to woo his mate, some crossed wires and mortal danger before a battle and time to make up. I did find Mazie quite irritating and did wonder if she took him seriously at one point. I was pleased that they finally got the HEA that they deserved especially with how it ended. Easy to read and understand. Contains some mature content.

Gerri is back and has tricked her friend Pyrus into flaying to Africa on a business trip not realizing that being on the flight with her lmakes him sweat. Pyrus thinks he is not interested in becoming mated until he actual meets Maizie when she is being harassed by a drunk. Mazie is working for the Peace Corps working with animals all over the world lonely but somewhat fulfilled Maizie knows Gerri but Gerri has a surprise for her as well. What AME series book? I can't wait to read even they stopped reading for a while. It really likes in so many have gotten out, no literally eight more books to read.And I can't wait. They loved Cyrus and mazie's story. Name billionaire field peac core worker. I love how it all came together.

Gerri has made another perfect match. This time, she's in Africa. Pyrus and Mazie had no clue how much they needed each other. It was a page turner that I couldn't put down. We are at 62 books in the series, and I never get bored. This is my honest opinion of an advanced copy I received.

I loved Pyrus and Maxie are truly wonderful characters. Not too mention bringing light to the abuse too animals. A beautiful storyline. Plenty of action and of the steamy variety.

Awesome
Another great one for paranormal romance lovers out there. The only thing that's missing is a bit more of Gerri, but who can really say that they've had enough of Gerri lol.

Loved this opposites attract story.
Although below the surface they weren’t opposite. Both have a deep love of helping others and loving the land.
I also liked that the book didn’t end with the mating. I liked the look at their lives for a little while afterward.

Another five star read from Milly Taiden! I never get tired of this series. This is the best of the series…a dragon shifter and Gerri Wilder with Milly’s prose…perfection. I loved that the setting for the story, at an animal sanctuary. The first meeting between Pyrus and Mazie just melted my heart. It’s a world wind romance that steams the pages. Excellent read! ❤️❤️❤️
