🎄Let It Snow: Stranded de Lisa Chalmers✨
Argumento:
This book was short, but I really enjoyed the writing and the story. I like how the author makes instant-love trope not feel like instant love. I'm not always a fan of this trope, but the author does a great job of building things up with the characters (even though a short time frame) and makes you want to be stuck in this position for the holidays. The story is well written, I did not see many grammatical mistakes. The only thing that would make this story better, was it being a little longer. I think if the had some more pages, and a little more in the middle, that it would be a fantastic prequel to another book. Over all I loved the book and recommend it.

This book was lovely, easy to read and sweet. I enjoy Lisa Chalmers books a lot. Jenna Goodwin’s holiday plans are set. But when his plan backfires and he ends up stranded with the cutest little blond who doesn't seem to recognize him, things might just heat up for the holidays. I absolutely adore these two. They are just too cute. Dean is sexy and fun and Jenna is shiny and relaxing to be around. It’s the perfect holiday romance to enjoy with cocoa and biscuits. It’s well written, easy to read and enjoyable. There are a few sexy times but great slow-burn attraction. It seemed real and engaging. Wow, this book has everything one could expect from a good holiday romance novella. Dean and Jenna got stranded in Aspen in an uber-luxurious, beautifully decorated house. There are picturesque mountains, pine trees, and a vicious snowstorm. What Dean and Jenna have in common is that they love everything about Christmas- the decorations, food, movies, and tunes. This Christmas, Dean is alone by choice and loves that he ended up in Aspen. Jenna needs to be with her family, especially her brother, so she's constantly trying to leave. Although they have an instant attraction, Dean is so caring and considerate that it becomes a slow-burn romance somehow. There are personal growth, acceptance, respect, and sweet surprises.
If you are looking for a no-angst story, hot characters, and plenty of sizzle, this is the one for you.

I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily. I'm going to tell you a secret, I have a soft spot for Christmas stories, the kind that only work because of a combination of the Christmas season and the feelings it brings, they are my favorite guilty pleasures, therefore while reading this story I couldn't avoid having a smile on my face all the time, it is a fast, fun story, without unnecessary conflicts, with characters that feel real, both protagonists have real and coherent feelings and actions, they are not caricatures of or stereotypes, therefore when in the end they end up together, you feel that they earned that ending by their actions and it make you happy for them, in summary if you have this same guilty pleasure, I recommend you spend a few hours reading this, you won't regret it
Dean just wanted to spend Christmas locked away but when his manager picked him up and dropped him off at the airport with a plan for him to go to Miami, he didn’t know what actually laid ahead of him. Flights cancelled, he called to get a ride to the nearest airport to get him on his way. Jenna, trying to get work done so she can head home for the holidays not wanting to miss her brother proposing to this fiancé. Picking up Dean from the airport and he wants to go where and paying how much? Oh, yea we can do that! Driving for so long, when they finally get there Jenna goes in to rest before heading back out. By the time she gets ready to go, her can won’t start so she is stuck for the night. Jenna and Dean find a swoony story here and it is what Christmas is all about!.

LET IT SNOW is a novella with rock star, Dean stranded in Aspen during a blizzard with his Uber driver Jenna. Dean is escaping his “celebrity” that he can’t get away from even with family. Jenna has to get home for Christmas to be with her family. She eventually figured out who Dean was, but she didn’t change how she treated him.
I liked the story for it’s gentle humor, hot chemistry and really natural relationship between Dean and Jenna. I wish it didn’t end where it did, though. It’s a happy for now ending.

Ride share driver Jenna gets her holiday turned upside down when a apparently very rich guy asks her to drive him hours away. It's not until they are snowed in together that she recognizes him as a famous musician. I liked how she continued to see him as a real person despite knowing who he was. He may have thrown his money around (snowmobile food deliveries!) but it was all done to help them though the crazy situation. I don't often read novellas but this one had well developed characters and I enjoyed the story. I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.
Jenna was an absolute doll and I loved that she was so genuine. She didn't want anything from Dean, she just enjoyed spending time with him.
Dean was the ultimate rock star fantasy. He was funny, sweet, and just wanted to make Jenna happy. I loved that he had no problem being a sap for Jenna.
This book was a cozy and quick read. I will definitely be reading again because it was so good. Lisa is a brand new author for me, so I'm excited to look into her other work.
Note: I received an ARC of this book in exchange for an honest review.
This is a sweet Christmas holiday read. Dean is a rockstar and leaving town to escape his ex. He’s stranded at the airport due to bad weather. Jenna is a taxi driver that he pays to get him to his destination. He loves the fact that initially she doesn’t recognise him and treats him as a normal person. He loves it even better as her attitude doesn’t change when she finds out. This is a lovely story about people finding each other and realising what really matters. It’s a short story but an enjoyable one. I received this book from BookSirens. I’m voluntarily leaving my honest review.
Okay, so like, here me out. The story was cute. I could see this story being a great short movie and all. But the writing just wasn’t there. It’s almost as if this wasn’t proof read before going out. Every time I found myself enjoying the story, I ran into another writing error. I really wanted to love this too.

This is a short read but that doesn’t affect the great writing. Dean and Jenna are so sweet together. He may be a famous rockstar but certainly doesn’t act like it, I got the impression he was quite lonely. Great read if you love Christmas stories. I received a copy from Booksirens and leave my review voluntarily.
I loved it, loved it. loved it. This is such an awesome book. The author brings the MC's to life and makes us invest in them right from the start. Such a charming book. I can not wait to read more from this author. Totally recommend this book.

This was a fun sweet read! If you like forced proximity and the rockstar tropes, you’ll enjoy this like I did! I only wish there was more attention put on the mutual attraction and sexual tension between the characters!
Jenna picked up her last passenger of the night- the snow was looming and she wanted to cancel on Dean, but he promised her a hefty tip. Getting stranded wasn't her plan but it might just be the start of something more….
I enjoyed the story and budding friendship with Dean and Jenna but what a Christmas surprise.
Being stranded in a large house with a game room, in door pool, and sauna with a hunky rock star wouldn't be so bad. Maybe there is more to Jenna and Dean's story, as it seems a budding romance is on the horizon.

A great Holiday novella that shows what’s important about this time of year!
Jenna was just trying to do her job when Dean crashed into her life and wanted to be driven six hours south of where they were. And then changed his mind after talking with her to go several hours north. Only to get stranded in a Christmas blizzard in a lovely rented house.
But Dean’s not just anyone, he’s a famous rock star hiding out for the holidays and it takes Jenna longer than he thought to recognize him. And together they make a great pair. But what happens when the blizzard’s over and Jenna can go back to her real life?
Jenna and Dean get their happy for now ending in this stand-alone book.
If you’ve read any other holiday novellas by Chalmers you may recognize some of the minor characters here. I loved that little tie-in and to see that couple was doing well! It was also great that Jenna didn’t immediately throw herself at Dean when she recognized him and really let him just be another person for a while and not a celebrity. One thing that wasn’t really covered was if driving for a ride-share company was Jenna’s occupation or just something she did for extra money.
