Knowing how to move forward in our lives, especially in the face of difficult emotions that cloud our clarity, requires patience and compassion. ... In order to emerge from moments or even stretches in darkness into the light - into the brightness of our own light and the grater light of life of which we are all a part - we are called to sit with things. Sit with our feelings tenderly. Sit with our thoughts lovingly.
