Workplace harassment complaints, health code violations, and inhuman work hours. All just a few of the things that your everyday human resources representative has to deal with. Lucky for you, Poison Ivy isn't your average HR rep. She's much more flexible and her punishments are far worse, too! So be on your best behavior because Dr. Isley is watching.

Sometimes it's nice, you know?
When somebody has hope.
Even if it's all for nothing. It's nice to know somebody still thinks it can be done.

In my opinion, G. Willow Wilson’s Poison Ivy is the best DC book currently on the shelves. This issue isn’t its gold standard, but it’s a solid continuation.

Is it global warming or are things getting hot in here?

This issue got spicy and I was not expecting it. Ivy gets a job that will send packages around the world, speeding up her plan. Was surprised by the sex scene but the book is still pretty good! As always, great art.

every issue is just more of ivy being sad, missing harley and killing people. but honestly good for her, she's earned the right to manslaughter.

"I love you, and I want to come home to you. I love you, and somehow, after all this I want to live." STOP. let the poor girl be happy.

Das Töten vom fiesen Boss ist natürlich sehr befriedigend, aber als Vorankündigung für den Green Man vielleicht doch bissle on the Nose. Aber das Artwork haut einfach alles raus.

One of the best stories from Poison Ivy I have read recently.

She seems to know about human resources and management.

She also miss love, and that is not right for anybody.

This is a brilliant series and this issue encapsulates everything that’s working so well: a thought-provoking story with a lot of ambiguity and moral nuance, in-depth characterization of a conflicted and complicated protagonist, bonkers-gorgeous artwork, and incredible lettering that’s integral to the story itself.

This issue, like the previous three, is an almost standalone morality play that builds into a bigger reflection on the at-once complex and straightforward ways that humanity is destroying the world. This issue just happens to feature the most stunning sequence yet of Ivy obliterating somebody with hallucinogenic poisonous spores.

I'm glad to see that, in this issue, Pamela takes her turn towards back to her humanity and her will to live. I've read a review on a certain website claiming Ivy cheated on her girlfriend but I read it as a desperate attempt to make a human connection, something that she needed at that moment.

I've killed many men who disregard the fundamental rights of all life. I poison them-they die-but there's always another to take their place.

—Poison Ivy: Solomon Grundy vol 1 #3 2009

Well, it seems we're not halfway finish with the series as I take back my words for the previous #3 issue It's been recently revealed that this story will be extended to twelve issues. That's wonderful news! because Ivy has long been deserving of the spotlight and I'm SO here for my Venomous Vixen.

Marcio Takara continues to truly please me with his plant creature-like images of Ivy so much so, the first book Poison Ivy #1 was a MUST own and page 20 specifically, I would love to frame. Pamela Isley is at her most monstrous we've seen yet. This new transformation look is perfectly fitting not only because it invokes The horrors of what she's becoming, but also it's a reflection of her new attitude.

Willow G. Wilson says she has alot of interesting stuff that will happen and twist for us readers in coming issues. I am both and eagered and worried to know what all that entails. And (hopefully) that still means Ivy being a Villainess Force of Nature

Criticism

Issue no. 4 works even more like a socially critic comment than the other parts. Ivy steps up against workplace harassment which is quite convincing yet hilariously exaggerated and followed by some graphic panels of the bully's early demise. Entertaining but still no overall plot. 4/5

Err -- Bit weird to go through all this trouble to make sure she can infect as many people as possible only to deal with two boxes and be done with her entire plan, but alright. I guess they had to keep her on the move somehow... Still, the dialogues are really good, and the boss' words were an interesting choice, they fit very well with the whole "is it us or is it the system?" theme.

4 stars. My favorite volume so far. Pamela is such an awesome character and while she’s definitely a villain she has no problem doing what’s right and what she did to that creep of a boss was well deserved. We also got a bit more insight into her and Harley’s relationship and fall out and every little bit of new information has me chomping at the bits for a reunion between the two.

Issue #4 – “The Virtuous Cycle: Chapter Four”
Ivy arrives in a small town and briefly settles in, forming a fleeting bond with a waitress. Her intentions to kill the town fade slightly—but her condition deteriorates further. There's thematic tension between her wish for connection and the destruction she spreads. Psychological horror builds.

She literally gets a new temp job, kills her asshole boss, has sex with her nice coworker while thinking abt her ex-girlfriend, and leaves. 5 stars is the lowest I can go, I love to see a woman have a fun stop on her little roadtrip leading up to destroying the human race!

I'm pretty intrigued by this series and very curious to see if this becomes a central story for Poison Ivy. This story may be essential to her lore.

It’s so interesting seeing Ivy almost change her mind only for a small inconvenience to solidify her want to kill the entire human race.
