I fell in love with three dangerous men. The leaders of Malice Mafia. My best friend’s brothers. They brought me into their deadly world. It was glamorous but twisted. Torture, death, and crime followed me everywhere I went, chiseling away at parts of me until I wasn't the same anymore. They praised me. They worshiped my body. They ruined my soul. All of this started because I made a choice. Because I fell in love. Because I was a lonely girl clinging to dangerous criminals. Malice was a broken man. A leader with a cracked crown. William was an opportunist. A soldier with a grudge. Anthony was a survivor. A lover with hope. I was nothing but a pretty little toy for them to break, but I must remind these jealous and possessive men that they’re stronger together. I just pray that this fight for power won’t tear us all apart.
Author Coralee June has always been passionate about storytelling and impressed by the influence it has on people and the decisions they make in life. She loves engaging with the projects she works on, diving headfirst into developing real, raw, and relatable characters that are equally flawed and beautiful. Coralee lives in Dallas, Tx with her husband and two daughters. She's been known to frequently indulge in boxed red wine and day-old pizza. When she's not writing, June is reading or substitute teaching at the local middle school.
Hmmm... Started out a quite dark mafia romance, then it morphed into a 'strong' teenage heroine being desired by the three older and dangerous/killer mafia brothers. Which is fine, but I just couldn't connect with either the male characters or Juliet. Lots of dark themes, so this trilogy may not be for everyone. Believe it or not, I zoned out of the story quite a lot and ended up skimming. The writing is fine within itself and I think younger readers may enjoy the story more than I did. I've read many mafia series, so sadly this one did not quite cut it for me. I am interested to read more from this author's back list.
The boxset is here! A continuous story of the relationships between three mafia brothers, their sister and her friend, a lonely confused girl called Juliet. The books relate as Malice being Nick, Wrath being Anthony and Grudge being William.
Juliet a ‘down on her luck’ teenager looking after her ailing Grams is thrust into the mafia world by way of her best friend Vicky. who really did live a double life.
It was a great spin on the RH genre a taboo three brothers angle Malice/Nick - the ‘dark’ one. Antony the ‘tortured’ one and William the ‘silent’ one tells us a story that is as much about a brutal and barbaric lifestyle as it is seductive.L - it’s raw and honest and kind messed up - but I absolutely loved it
CoraLee June totally excelled in this genre and this dark, twisted read is like nothing I’d read in a long time!
I can give it 15 stars can’t I?! After all it is three books in one 😉 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
This box set was so good. I thoroughly enjoyed the rollercoaster that was this series. I enjoyed how all of the brothers brought something different to Juliet’s life and she needed them all in different ways. I loved that Juliet was someone who was determined to stand on her own two feet and take care of herself. The twists and turns and battles she has to overcome throughout the series made her stronger and the story much more enjoyable.
The twist & turns that I went through in this book were unbelievable. I laughed a lot, mainly because of Anthony. I cried for a couple of BIG reasons & I felt happy for the end or I should say their future.
This was really good. Although not as graphic with the spice as I would like, all the drama, for me, made for it!
Everything about these books are amazing. The detail, the story the characters. It’s truly immaculate! I could read a hundred more of them to see where their lives end up. I’m going to have a serious reading hangover from this because I love it so much.
